You used to do things in the old A&S campaigns differently, and it shows here: The AI follows the roads. And the roads lead straight into your rear in Seoul. Those transport losses were completely avoidable. You used to occupy the woods to the south and east of the Daejeon zone and get the same, if not more, amount of enemies as the front approach. But now you've just stuck to letting the enemy APCs outrange you, fall back, let them close in to get shots into arty and command teams, and then pop them with RPGs. You got lucky the AI is dumb enough to send an unarmed command vehicle down behind your lines. The issue is that you're running on auto-pilot, thinking things will go entirely the way you think they will, and thus not calling in more forces to shore up weak areas of the line. But, to move away from all the negativity, I will say you are an incredibly good sport. The whole aircraft baiting incident shows that you do see when you're making a poor play, and don't get salty over it. Lots of players and YTbers do, and that's what sets you apart from the pack.
Yes I play a bit different now. It's the 4th time I'm covering the campaign I think, 2nd time with A&S. I want to shake things up to keep it interesting for myself. So I'm stretching my battlegroups to the maximum to see what they can do.
@@Stealth17Gaming Fair enough, can't argue with that logic. If everything's done 100% perfectly and you're bored to tears, that's bad. If you want to make things harder by giving yourself a few handicaps, why not? Heh. Nuzlocke Challenge, Wargame Red Dragon Edition. Now that'd be something to see.
There's a game from 2004 called Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies. And I think a line from that game sums up the situation here perfectly: We need a miracle in air support to win this battle.

@31:02 using your best planes as the bait........... IQ 200!
4:39 That actually made me feel bad for the AI. My heart is not totally stone, it seems.

I guess I'm in the minority, I actually enjoy the naval fights
Are you ok Buddy? Would you like to talk about it or something.
could you do the other campaigns after 2nd KW?
Already did those a year ago. Do you want to see them again?
I would like to. Maybe put it up as a vote to see what everyone else thinks.
Why did you use the Slam Eagles as bait when they have the longer range antiair missiles?
Misplay
how did you launch the planes at the same time? Can you hotkey them?
Yes you can. You shift-click and then tie them to a hotkey.
