The Harpoons just like the German Tico scenario video slammed into the friendly ship ahead of the Pegasus, which counts as friendly fire, you should check the line of fire before firing any missile. Also, it may have been purely coincidental, but that merchant was right between the SS-N-9 and the Texas, so it might be viewed as a deliberate attempt to put a merchant as a shield, which is a very severe violation of Geneva Convention. Nice Content ! Keep Up !!
Yeah, that merchant that was hit could lead to an interesting international incident...the Soviets would be yelled at for firing weapons like these where civilians could be hurt, the Americans would be yelled at for "hiding" their surface forces near a civilian ship. Man, if this game would have a campaign mode long enough where stuff like this might influence how many forces you'd be assigned as commander...!
True although, if the task force was constantly in communications with the merchants in the area and if the merchant crew heard they were deliberately using them as a shield I think they would testify but I think they would personally say it was an accident due to bad timing and chance.
For some reason I've noticed that ASW planes get funky about dropping torps and sometimes buoys too in time compression recently. I usually slow it back to real time for their whole ingress after the order is given and they'll more often than not do it. It soes seem like sometimes they'll get stuck in a state even at real time if they've failed to drop the torp or buoy once before.
Hello, friend. I liked this exact scenario, to be fair. It's pretty realistic, as you are in shallow waters and the difficulties to detect the submarines are profound. Believe me, in those watres they are like a black hole in thedark, it's extremely hard to detect a submarine. So, consider yourself lucky that you managed to detect the torpedoes before the strike! About the Mk46, I was about to say that the shallow waters don't give too much space for them to dive after drop, so that was perhaps the reason why they refused to drop. I also thought of the bug, but Cent348 showed the right answer, thus a big like to his comment! Excellent videos, keep goin! PS: Sometimes, evading the enemy if you can't kill him is the better option. Have a nice time
My P3's dropped, but the water was so shallow the torpedo exploded on the sea floor. Took about 4 tries before one tracked the sub Spoiler alert.... Encountered more than one sub
Disregard the overlay at the start - this is the NUCLEAR RUSH mission by CENT!

Am I the only one screeming YOU HAVE ASROC ON TEXAS or is there a reason you cannot use that weapon system?
Stealth, the nanutchka died because the shrike set it on fire and damage control still doesnt work properly so it just burned to death
The P-3 pilots have not unlocked the Mk46, that is why they cant use them :D
Stealth, you have ASROC on Virginia's, Tico's and Kidd's, they launch from the Mk.26 launcher, the same that launches the RIM-66's
Completely forgot
@Stealth17Gaming please don't forget that, the US Navy made the Mk.26 a Universal Guided Missile Launcher for a reason
That map is wrong. Ålborg Airbase is not in Zealand, its in Jutland :)
Jive turkey was going mad about plane’s behaviour after some recent update. Looks like devs screwed some ai. Hopefully will fix soon

Ah, Stealth is using the Argentine method of anti-ship action.
Try using some mavericks from the A-7 and F-4 to damage the ships. It could be fun!
GET DOWN MR PRESIDENT ahh merchant ship
the warning multiple hostile air also plays for missles not only planes
Can a torpedo even hit a pegasus? Being mostly above the water?
is it too shallow for them to drop the torps?
No it was a bug
am i the only one who just love seeing planes fly past ships in this game
Is that ship named
*kamchatka*?
*Binoculars*?
