I wanted to let you know that your "Top 200 Drugs" videos helped memorize and pass the National PTCE Exam on the first try. I'm usually better in math than in memorization, and your videos helped me. I'm now a CPht! Thank you Tony. I appreciate it.
Studying for the PTCB but also a pre-med, love the ties to true organic chemistry and the background knowledge behind the ending. This is super well organized, I appreciate it.
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have been struggling for the past month to memorize the top 200 drugs for the PTCB exam. You have an amazing way in teaching and presenting information that makes it easier to memorize and remember. THANK YOU!
I'm excited this helped so much, I have heard some students like the audiobook more than my voice here's a link: www.audible.com/pd/B01FSR7HLE/?source_code=AUDFPWS0223189MWT-BK-ACX0-059486&ref=acx_bty_BK_ACX0_059486_rh_us
I've been trying to understand the top 200 drugs for about 3 weeks now.. And my brain is so funny that I can't learn words and their meaning without fully understanding how they function.. Instead of learning the words and their one word meaning like so many might find it easier to learn, I will be so frustrated by the one word meaning that I won't be able to learn it properly.. I'm so grateful I came across your videos.... God knows I needed it,,,, cuz the way you put everything in order and explain them.. Its just a relief to my brain cells.. 😂😂😂 I feel so much better now learning this than I did last week.. Instead of just listening to the one word videos I can listen to yours.. Thank you so much again for these.. ❤️
Fist I would like to express my gratitude for your instructional and helpful videos. I passed the ptcb exam and most questions are medications oriented. Thank you so much sir. God please you and your family. May Allah protect you and your family
Literally the best explanation of drugs I have ever gotten. the drug names actually make sense. teachers have always told me to just focus on the last 3 letters .... thanks so much!
I’m studying to be a certified pharmacy technician and this is the first video that has been helpful !! The other videos just name the top 200 off in any order and I was not retaining it, but I am now
If you've never had a book on Audible.com you can get the full version for free here, it's the #4 book nationwide in Nursing Pharmacology www.amazon.com/Memorizing-Pharmacology-A-Relaxed-Approach/dp/B01FSR7XZO/
does the top 200 drug test change every year? I am wondering because this video came out a few years ago and I’m not sure if they update the list every year
Hi Tony! you organized the top 200 medicine in such a way to memorize them became easy, in a short time. I really appreciate your hardworking to facilitate others. God bless you. once again a lot of thanks.
I just wanted to let you know that your channel is certainly a gem. I am currently using your videos as a supplement in studying for the Naplex and they definitely help. I only wish I came across your channel much earlier in my academic career.
I am a p1 student, and i just had my first pharmacotherapy lecture ,i was overwhelmed and so stressed out since i don't know anything about drug, and this video helped me a lot because i can't just memorize names without knowing what the names stands for ,,thank u so so much, everything u said made so much sense,i will go through ur videos as i am studying the new material
Thank you very much for the videos, i bought your book and it was very easy for me to follow along with the videos, as third language speaker this's very helpful
next month m having my final exams ...so for pharma preparation m watching ur every chapters ....very helpful n motivating method for me to learn....I don't like pharma much bt the way u r guiding n teaching ....m taking interest now 😊😊😊
This was an excellent video and a really nice companion to the book. I got the audio-book as well via Audible (first book free), and I much more prefer your voice over the UK/British voice. I know that is not critical and is probably for marketing reasons, but I just want to put that out there. But back to the main point, thanks for all your videos like this one, it really helps enforce what you teach in the actual book.
So im a freshman in high school and im in hosa and im doing the pharmacology competition and i just found out that im probably gonna have an online test of 100 questions next week and i haven’t started studying, because books are expensive and i just now found this y’all wish me luck plz😫
Sounds good, I've heard it's helped students who are trying to succeed in an interview as well, mispronunciations are a killer when interviewing competitively
Sorry, it's on iTunes itunes.apple.com/us/audiobook/memorizing-pharmacology-a-relaxed-approach-unabridged/id1115782287 I'll have to look into Google Play
Does the top 200 drug list change every year? I was wondering because this video is a couple years old and I wonder if I can still use this video for 2019’s test
It will, I'd still get the book, it's free on Audible if you've never bought from them before. www.audible.com/pd/Memorizing-Pharmacology-Audiobook/B01FSR7HLE
I have the audiobook, Is there a spreadsheet or written documentation of the drugs you are going over so I may also see the names and hear them as you teach?
Rachel, I needed to make the book "for the ear" but also have this discounted version for those who want the word-for-word transcript of the audiobook www.amazon.com/Memorizing-Pharmacology-Relaxed-Approach-Audiobook-ebook/dp/B071VDZP17/
I bought both of your books and am viewing tge UA-cam videos. You have helped me tremendously!!!! If only you had videos on calculations😬😬😬. I'm struggling on that.
I'm so happy to hear that, please consider checking out my two books on Amazon, Memorizing Pharmacology and How to Pronounce Drug Names www.amazon.com/How-Pronounce-Drug-Names-Preventing-ebook/dp/B01NCIZ0SE/
Esomeprazole is just the s-isomer of omeprazole. For those of us that didn't learn that s and r stand for sinister and rectus left hand/right hand in biochem...
Thank you for this upload! I have shown some of my peers some of the content in the book and they have bought copies for themselves! I felt this was a nice starting chapter to prime for the following chapters. As a general question based on observation without much research, would drugs prescribed for ulcerative colitis also be linked to being prescribed for crohn's disease as well as rheumatoid arthritis? I know there is a section in Musculoskeletal addressing RA drugs, it is just for some reason I occasionally see the autoimmune disease drugs run together similarly to how pancytopenia, thrombocytopenia, erythrocytopenia, and leukocytopenia run together but are different at the same time.
+gj4king1 I'm going to make a video in the next couple weeks addressing the pharmacist oversupply, I know what to say to students who are starting pre-pharmacy about being careful, saving money, minimizing years, and I know what to say to graduates, look to entrepreneurship, cost saving measures, but I'm not sure what to say to students who are in pharmacy school, what made you stick with it? Anything you want me to put out there?
+Tony PharmD what ever you are willing to share is great. i am open to it. you've been down that road so what ever video you upload and advice you give has value.

Thank you. your video is so helpful. i wonder that do you have PDF version of the "memrizing pharmacology" audiobook or free file audiobook of this, i really need it but i don't have enough money to buy it now. i will so happy if i get it
There are a couple of ways to get it free, if it is your first book on Audible.com, if you are part of Kindle Unlimited, the file is over a gigabyte because it's seven hours of content at a very high quality, so I'm afraid I don't have anything like that.
+313heros The book contains 350 medications wrapped around this smaller framework to memorize 200, you've code switched by saying AcipHex, a brand name, and pantoprazole, a generic name, a mark of a health professional who knows their stuff. Using the framework, and this is how it is in the book, it would go esomeprazole (Nexium), omeprazole (Prilosec), pantoprazole (Protonix), and rabeprazole (AcipHex), and your memorized list has gone to 202 drugs very easily and logically.
I have put up pronunciation videos for rabeprazole (AcipHex) and pantoprazole (Protonix) ua-cam.com/video/lXJZdocwLag/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/aAmyO5vDv8I/v-deo.html and will be putting up 350 total for all the medications in the back of the book Just wanted to give you a heads up

Wonderful!
If you used the print or audiobook as well, please write a review it really matters! Thanks!
Did you study the exact drugs in these videos to pass the exam or did you apply the study method to some other list of drugs?
Please can u also help me to pass the math issue please and the 200drugs
@@jemimaappiah9761 What math are you struggling with?

Are these 200 drugs the ones to study for the PTCB? I'm struggling to find which list of top 200 drugs I should be studying for the exam.
We asked them, they wouldn't tell us, the print and ebook has 350 drugs to make it more likely you got the right ones.
Thanks man I appreciate this work
Very nice video!
Thank you.
Thanks you very much😍😍
