i bought the Local Legends. paid the extra $7 for the "pro finish". very much worth it. so broken in. very hole friendly. they do not feel "full" like a lot of other bags. love having them in the arsenal.
@@damongillion9319 My Local Legend's with the "pro finish" are very hole friendly. anywhere near the hole and its in. I've had a throw catch the edge and literally go around the hole 270 degrees and fall in.
I just bought 8 Reynolds Pro Edge Speed bags and played with 4 of them in 244 frames over 13 ghost matches. So each bag was thrown 244 times over a 2.5 hour time frame.the bags did not seem to break in at all. I did this test and then I compared them to the other 4 that I only threw once. I am trying this process out right now to see how well this works. I will update this after I finish the dry cycle tonight.
I know a lot of people do this, but it is risky. If you bust open a bag, you risk damaging or ruining your washer or dryer, with the best scenario being you have a big mess to clean up. If you do this, use a laundry bag with mesh smaller than the resin.
I don't even trust the mesh. Use a pillowcase with a knot tied at the end of it. The machine isn't strong enough to undo the knot. My mother used to wash our stuffed animals the same way. lol
Ok Thanks. I am not home right now to check, but I don’t think my dryer has a tumble dry setting with no heat. Would it be just as well to set the bags in front of a fan for a few hours and flip them occasionally?
So I did a load of 12 bags (still trying to find the perfect bag so I bought a bunch 😁) and used a cheap fabric softener and had to wash them and dry them twice and it helped but definitely not broken in all the way. So I would suggest if your going to do this method a good fabric softener and only 4 bags at a time
Whats the difference in using fabric softner and not? I usually just put mine in the dryer for 3 cycles of 80 min of no heat to break them in. Does the fabric softner make them more hole friendly?
Also take a look at Titan bags from West Georgia Cornhole. No, not affiliated in any way although I do live in Atlanta which is probably why I heard about them. I bought the Intimidator bags and like them a lot.
Sounds basically you trying too have the wife pissed about corn hole bags being in the washer 2 she going too be talking bout your buying me a brand spanking new washer and dryer.. so get your keys we headed too Lowe’s
You are such a G for doing this. This video was perfect.
Most people dry their bags with NO heat for break in. I like the fabric softener idea, I will give that a try.

You are the only person I know in the world of cornhole who drys there bags on high heat. No one and I mean no one does that everyone does no heat.
Best video I have watched. Thank you
Just got a set of local mambas..very stiff when new..tried this exactly like you showed and it worked great. Thanks for an awesome tip!

So were those bags filled with traditional corn or resin? Wondering about wash cycle with traditional corn pros and cons
Resin only!
You cannot wash or let corn get wet. It will swell up and grow mold in the bag. They are unusable then.

Resin if you get real corn bags wet the corn will sour and ruin do not get those bags wet
If my bags are brand new can it seem like they are really fast or did i buy the wrong bags? These bags seem like they fly off the boards
I just ordered a set of game changer steady 2.0. I am concerned that the material might shrink in the dryer. What are your thoughts?
Do not use heat in the dryer. Just set it on tumble dry with no heat. If you use heat, there is a chance it will shrink your bags.

What fabric softener do you use on game changer bags
Why risk any saturation and just play catch?
hi thank you for this video can you activate french subtitles please
The best way is to put warm water in a sink with hair conditioner soap for 20 min then throw them in the dryer.
If filled with beans, the will swell‼️Does corn do the same?
This method can only be used for resin bags. Not bean or corn bags
Is this safe for bags with a suede side?
Those game changers are dual sided so yes
Corn bags? Or just all weather resin
@@4rdzlla I would imagine just the resin. Corn swells then rots.
Won't hot drying shrink the fabric???? I'm getting my game changers today and I don't want to ruin them
@@4rdzllaprobably okay on low heat, but I always use tumble dry without heat just to play it safe..

FYI. This can damage the bag and if so, the manufacture will not replace.
So, the “ official “ corn hole bags I purchased came with a warning, contains real corn, do not get wet or the may swell
Any recommendations for front loaded washers?
just about to ask then i saw this.. guess still no answer lol. my front loaders are older too that the people left when i moved into my place
Yes watch and listen to the video again:)
Just hand wash them in a 5 gallon bucket let them set and then put them in the dryer

Definitely use the delicate setting too ( the rule of thumb he gives re: the agitator doesn’t work for front loaders) :S
I was told that hair conditioner works better because the fabric softener leaves a residue on them
Will real corn bags work for this also?
No.
