- Time to react to my original predictions before all of the qualifiers began. What a year it has been though. Despite getting some of these wrong, it has been an absolute joy to keep up with every European team. Thank you all for sticking around in this series, soon we will be covering the actual tournament a bunch :)

Obviously happy Romania showed a return to form and managed to qualify but I also want to congratulate Moldova for putting their best fight yet and I hope they keep it up and we'll eventually see them at a final tournament soon.

Yakin had a lot of strange decisions.
For example, in the match with us, Romania from Switzerland in the second half when you were 2-0 made some very uninspired changes that unbalanced the team, which allowed Romania to get back into the game after you dominated us without the right to reply 80 minutes.
Also, the position Xaca plays is too defensive for his qualities.
In the match in Bucharest again I was surprised that Amdoui and Zakaria did not play.
In any case, boys, you have an absolutely great team with a quality that makes me believe that you will go far in this EURO if the problems related to attitude and concentration are solved

Hopefully we will see someone like Kazakhstan, Luxembourg or Georgia advancing out of the Playoffs. Always love seeing new nations qualifying for major tournaments.

Romania has had good teams in the past but they just had a major drought lately.

As a hungarian i'm sure we will get the Group of death again with france netherlands and italy but we do better against the giants of the game then against the underdogs
Being Scottish I don’t care who I get in the groups I’m just happy to be going but if you saw the qualifier in Spain, it left a sour taste in my mouth with a beautiful goal being cut off for nothing and would welcome a Rematch in Germany

@@AlexD_20 in the Qualifiers for 2008 Scotland also got France and Italy who were the 2006 World Cup finalists and Ukraine who made the quarterfinals and we almost won the whole group with stunning wins home and away over France but Georgia away a game that we should have been winning that ultimately eliminated us.
san marino made history, italy almost got 3rd, and croatia edged to 2nd.
Now we wait for june 2024

That Kazakhstan run was really surpising ! Now, I'm backing them for the play-offs and hope they'll qualify ! Luxembourg is improving and I'm sure they'll become a good-ish european team in a few years ! I'm also really disappointed by Armenia for bottling this group stage... Kazakhstan, after the game with Denmark, our players were injured one by one, and so in the last games with Slovenia, 5 main key players were not there due to injury, otherwise there was a real chance to win 🇰🇿...

We really need Petković and Perišić in order to perform.
Petković is an excellent playmaker in the box and can score too, but allows players like Kramarić, Majer and Ivanušec to shine by removing defenders for them.
Perišić on the other hand is there for "morale", he runs a lot, that makes others run more which we really need. We need more willingness to push forward, and open up the area for others to have more impact, this is what Perišić is good at.
There's also a big partnership between Kramarić and Perišić since they're some of our veterans too.
Those 2 being injured at the same time is so bad for us, but I have faith they'll be there for the main tournament.
True, but we also need to see our new youngsters like baturina, and sucic performing while our squad is injured
Interesting moments in Euro 2024 qualifiers:
1.Group A: Haaland-Odegaard missed the major tournament again.
2.Group B: The biggest win in European Championship qualifiers (Gibraltar's worst defeat).
3.Group C: England's double victories over Italy and Ukraine's VAR fiasco vs Italy on the final match.
4.Group D: Armenia stuns Wales on both occasions, but in the end, Wales gets playoffs.
5.Group E: Albania finishing top ahead of Czechia and Poland, while Moldova had almost qualified after beating Poland. Faroe Islands also drew with Albania away.
6.Group F: Sweden's miserable qualifiers (huge loss to Azerbaijan away) and Estonia to the playoffs, despite being last in the group without win and 22 goals conceded.
7.Group G: Bulgaria's winless run and Serbia returning to Euros after 24 years.
8.Group H: Slovenia returning to Euros after 24 years, Kazakhstan having almost qualified automatically after memorable victories (3-2 vs Denmark), and San Marino scoring 1 goal on the last 3 games.
9.Group I: Romania finishing top ahead of Switzerland.
10.Group J: Portugal's Invincibles, Luxembourg's surprise results (double victories over Bosnia-Herzegovina), and Bosnia's incredible downfall.
Hopefully, there will be another major upsets in the playoffs. For me, I will pick:
1.Ukraine or Poland in Path A.
2.Israel or Ukraine in Path B.
3.Kazakhstan or Luxembourg (Might be hillarious if both sides played each other in Final).
Waiting for these:
1.Champions League MD5 (Last chances for Manchester United and Group F's madness).
2.Euro 2024 Early Predictions (After December 2).
Haaland and Odegaard missing a tournament isnt interesting that's typical and to be expected. What was really interesting is Scotland absolutely destroying the whole group
The Balkan countries were very successful in these qualifications.😄 Albania, Romania and Turkey, which are surprising group winners, should be highlighted here! Slovenia is also great. Croatia and Serbia were expected to pass, and I hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will join the Euro.❤

Wdym Albania always were a feared opponent but slept on cuz from euro 2016 they were the second place in a tough group than was so close qualifying for euro 2020 and wc 2022 and wc2018 now they at their peak while serbia never was expected to qualify for euro
I knew Luxembourg could do it, i followed them for a few years and they are really underrated, people are sleeping on them and just because of their size they put them in the same sentences with San Marino, Andorra and other micronations but they defenitely can compete on the same level as some stronger countries, i really hope they will qualify in the play off
I was very surprised when I found out that they have beaten Bosnia 4-1, a country that 10 years ago was in the World Cup

Luxembourg played good on every matches but the match vs Slovakia they were so unlucky and lost the game. I was sad for them but If they play like this they can come to Euros

Wow Portugal 10 out of 10 wins, with 36 goals for and only 2 against, is really spectacular! Sure, they will be playing with the big boys now, but they surely look like they are ready for winning the Euro Cup a second time.. Roberto Martínez is clearly doing an excelent job!

As a kazakh football fan, congratulations to all the qualified teams, especially to Slovenia, who didn't participate in the Euro for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, my Kazakhstan couldn't pull a miracle. Maybe they postponed it for the NL playoffs😅 but Greece is a tough team with huge experience

Hey, @HRVizak , congrats to yer Croatia to make it to the final despite the near miss and about my Latvia, yeah, sadly it is what it is, after the first 2 heroic and yet lost games, our team went downhill with our coach making poor tactical and player selection choices where players playing in foreign clubs with lack of games and match fitness being picked up over the local higher league players that had the entire seasons worth of experience either being benched or not even called up, using the tactics that our team isn't familiar with, losing key players such as Gutkovskis to injuries and congestion as well. So i'm with you there, maybe grabbing one point here and there would've made it for a more respectable result for our team, but sadly 1 win, 7 losses and -14 GD is sadly the best our coach and players could offer. And already in the local forums, there's this resentment that coach needs to leave immediately as he failed what he promised which was qualifying for UEFA Euro 2024, marking 20 years since our first and only major tournament outing and alongside i felt our football system needs a restructuring as well.

Luxembourg and Kazakhstan are the teams that could put what was impossible, 5 years ago to a possibility these days.

Yeah man it is really a shame that a small European nation beat a giant Asian nation. Too bad an underdog like Kazakhstan couldn't win against a superpower Slovenia
You have done great with predictions actually. There is one football commentator in my country (Bulgaria) who said we will be first in our group, but instead we were last. And actually it's not a big surprise, because management of the national team and Bulgarian football union has been awful for many years. We were just pathetic against Lithuania especially - in the away match we played 11vs10 almost the whole match, but failed to get the win. In the home match we were very weak and lost 2:0 and it was deserved win for Lithuania. Credits to Lithuania who played very well against us and made Hungary struggle in their home match. And credits to Montenegro as well, they gave a very descent fight to Serbia for the second place.
I hope there will be better times for my national team in the future, as I could easily say we are the worst team on the Balkans right now.
Being a American I picked Iceland to route for in the Euros and watched half of these matches (Mainly cause I slept through the other half) it was pretty fun to watch full matches

@@radu4281 yeah that's true but the stats are about all games so technically romania is undefeated in 11 games because they lost to Slovenia in the friendly. Also not to take anything away from romania, because they got there shit together in the qualifiers, last year and the year before they were very poor. Even I saw some of the games from Romania this year and the games before the summer they didn't play very well , I can even say romania was lucky vs teams like Kosovo isreal and Switzerland before the summer. They did play much better after the summer. Hungary however are beating teams like England Germany Croatia Serbia Turkey playing very nice football. Having said all that again Im not trying to take away Romania's euro qualifying run because they did well but I'm curious to see how they preform vs the big boys next summer. Let's see how they do vs teams like France Germany England Portugal etc
@@namibiaxx1016 Hungary has an Italian coach. He has tons of experience in playing in Southern Italy, they play that "catenaccio", which means "lock". Do you remember how Hungary defeated Germany in the Nations League? The retired captain, Ádám Szalai played the match of his whole life there. He scored the only goal of the match and played fierce defence. He blocked the pass lanes, Germany most often could only pass to the sides, creating next to zero opportunities. They didn't even have a very big scoring chance, because Hungary was defending very well. Hungary had three major counterattacks, two almost was a goal. Ter Stegen saved Germany from a greater loss.

Moldova played very well last game, before the referee gave an easy red and there all dreams came to an end. Anyway, proud of my country!
Moldova played quite well but they couldn’t finish their chances against Albania otherwise would of had been in a better position against Czech Republic.
The referee destroyed the match with that ridiculous second yellow , the Moldavian player didn’t even touch his eyes with his hand.

Luxembourg seems to be a better team , they can quite easily dominate the match against Georgia.
Hopefully I am wrong and doesn’t turn out to be a one sided match , Georgia has been so out of form that I don’t see them go face to face against an improved Luxembourg side.

Group B: 100%
Group C: 100%
Group D: Idk why i expected Turkey to flop in third place
Group E: Just Poland and Albania the others were correct
Group F: I expected Sweden to be second and Austria third
Group G: My predictions vs reality - Hungary 1st (correct), Bulgaria 2nd (5th), Serbia 3rd (2nd), Montenegro 4th (3rd), Latvia 5th (4th)
Group H: Denmark 1st (correct), Finland 2nd (3rd), Slovenia 3rd (2nd), N. Ireland 4th (5th), Kazakhstan 5th (4th), San marino (correct)

Tbh i like when some underrated teams do something and really brings hope to them. We had Moldova who were so close to qualify, then Kazakhstan and they still have playoffs, Albania finishing 1st and doing perfect goals, Romania finishing 1st without losing any game, Luxembourg doing a great run and they still have playoffs, etc.
This euro is pretty much pot 1 being the best and pot 2 3 and 4 kind of the same strength, maybe even pot 4 being the strongest with Italy

I honestly think they’re gonna get knocked out in the round of 16. As much as I’m loving Croatia thanks to the channel I just don’t think they can pull that same magic they have in the WC for the euros. They have been shaky in the qualifiers and some of their best players are nearing retirement. I think they’ll bottle the round of 16. Although something funny that contradicts my claim is that I did an early personal euro 2024 prediction last night and I had them in the final against France just barely losing it. Although that prediction was a little bias in my opinion. I think if they finish in the round of 16 I think they have a good chance of finishing in the top 3 at the 2026 World Cup. Every time when they crashed in the euros round of 16 AET, they placed top 3 at the upcoming World Cup

I told in your first prediction video (which i cannot find here or the comment) that Croatia won´t win their group, most of the replies laughed at me then. I put Wales first but that was a bad prediction. Also Bosnia been terrible was easy prediction and i said do not underestimate Luxembourg. Otherwise Sweden, Norway, Poland and Northern Ireland were biggest dissapoitments. Moldova did amazing qualifiers and of course Kazakhstan and Albania too.
Croatia had a lot of problems last month with injuries and bad form, but they are the strongest team in that group.

"The teams will be seeded in accordance with the overall European Qualifiers rankings. Hosts Germany will be automatically seeded into pot 1, and placed in position A1. The three play-off winners will not be known at the time of the draw, and the teams participating in those play-offs, scheduled to be held in March 2024, will be placed into pot 4 for the draw.
Pot 1: Germany (Host), group winners ranked 1-5
Pot 2: Group winners ranked 6-10, group runner-up ranked 1 (6-11 overall)
Pot 3: Group runners-up ranked 2-7 (12-17 overall)

Knew Wales would flop on Armenia, we were robbed against Turkey due to a few select ref-missed penalties but in the end it didn't matter as Croatia won against Armenia.
Yeah can't lie not sure how we did so well against you guys lol. We won the first match and definitely should have won the second as well. It would have been very exciting if we did as it would have came down to the last day vs Croatia.

Bit same as Northern Ireland that Finland won twice in this qualifications.. but Wales are better maybe toughest team to beat since Poland is not that good right now..
