A helpful topic for a video could be when to expect sales from outlets, preloved sites or department stores (etc.) I wasn’t even thinking about labor day sales & bought items literally the week before the preloved sites had massive sales 😭 maybe certain sites have anniversary sales while others have holiday sales. Something like a predicted calendar 😅

I enjoyed watching this video. Your pink Chanel classic flap is really lovely and the gold plating does make a difference. I don't think I will ever buy a classic flap brand new. I got one of the older models recently and it is vintage and still cost over £2000. The hardware is gold plated and looks so new :)
That's such a great deal if it was in the 2000s! The vintage ones are getting pricier as people search for the gold plated bags
I can't believe how reasonably priced the Twist is in the secondhand market. It's cheaper than a Murakami speedy that I've been searching for (and those cost $2500+)! Great informative video, thanks for sharing! New subbie here :)

The twist is a crazy good deal isn't it?! I fell in love with the bag in the store, but when I checked the preloved price I was so happy I didn't buy it in the shop
@@ellisrose8017 Oh thanks! How reliable is VC? I haven't bought from them before. I've looked on The RealReal and Fashionphile. Both have ridiculous prices.
@@lenakobi well you do have to be very diligent cause in Europe there is alot of replica so... BUT ask questions when in doubt and ask for specific pictures as well f.i. ones of the locks & keys, the hardware, stamp date. Off course in the best they sometimes still have the facture/invoice & cards.
And also look out for bags from professional sellers& sellers from Japan because they allready did the vetting if it is a geniuine item(in Japan it is not allowed to sell replica) and with pro sellers you're allowed to send the item back if you are in doubt.
Again, do research how the real ones look all the details & then keep your eye on the lookout. I looked for almost 1year to find the perfect ones...
DO NOT buy when there is a slight of doubt!
I did this with a YSL bag and boy did it turn out to be a nightmare to get my money back when it turned out to be a very well made replica.
Because VC is not great on C.S. or returns!!
They just check the bag if it is compareable with the discription of the seller....🙈

Love your saddle bag. I have a similar one too that I bought preloved. Yes it doesn't fit much and I can never buy it for the full price. What preloved sites do you use? In Uk I think we have fewer options
I use sites in a few different countries. Some in the UK as well. Maybe I can do a video on this since it would be very long for a comment, but my most used is fashionphile for sure. I love their customer service, return policy, and authenticity guarantee. You might pay a tad more than if ypu found the bag from a private seller, but buying from them is much more secure
Total newb here, jw what do you mean by "actually gold plated" in reference to Chanel? Like the older ones are real gold as opposed to fake gold?
Before 2008/2009 Chanel used real 24k gold on to gold plate their hardware. Now it is just a gold coloring not actual gold
