Please note: Please don't attempt to copy what you see in this video without understanding of how to do it safely. I don't mean to sound bossy or tell people what to do. I just don't want people to get hurt. Just from watching my videos will not give you all the knowledge required to safely enter lift shafts.
Subtitles say all the lift motor noises are "[music]"
The nice Kone M series lifts have been modernized now, you can’t hear the motor anymore so I imagine that it doesn’t level intelligently now. You’ll have to check it out Ben.
There is a gated kone M series service lift in @tBristol science centre, and some first gen ecodiscs, but the buttons in the lift are now Dewhurst, and the keyswitches as well!!! I remember those days at this place, they are so nice there.
Going through that tunnel could be 'interesting'.
YOU DID A VIDEO OF THE SILLY YOICE LIFT.
1:10 does that lift use a hydraulic ram for the full travel of the lift? (1:1, at lowest floor the ram would have to sink all the way into the base of the pit)
looks like it served 3 floors
I guess the pump was in a service area floor below also
any idea what the most floors you've seen a hydraulic serve? I've seen probably 6.
Tera Volt in hydraulics the rams fit in so the biggest is at the bottom then the thinnest is inside it when it's down
I don't understand why they are so quick to modernize Kone M's, they are 10 times better than any modern lift/elevator. Very hard to find these days unless you are in Scandinavia.
Music LabMN same , in my town we have Otis europa 2000 and Past the last 15 years I've never seen them broken but there getting modded with generic :-(
Nothing else quite manages the same "DEE DURRR bzzZZZZZ CLUNK" noise, unfortunately...
