This thing aged so damn well. It looks like a bike that a company would make in a retro style but still have some modern pointers that still look fresh.
I owned a nice one in 1996 and rode it to work every day in the summer months that included 10 miles of fast motorway . The bike was nice except it went on to reserve at 90 miles from a full tank of unleaded . This I’m sure was the result of not keeping under 70mph for quite a bit of the journey.Pretty hard on fuel all the same, and the bike had no issues and was always meticulously serviced . I sold it with under 14,000 on it.
Yep, this is the number one reason why i film my videos this way. The type of review where the rider films from the helmet is literally 90% of what UA-cam offers and quite frankly those videos are often unwatchable garbage.. who wants to watch road, trees and cars in a motorcycle review? Watching the bike in motion is a better way showing it. Thanks for your comment, it's appreciated.
I have 4 Eliminators. Wanted a Zephyr, bought a 2022 Z900RS. I am thinking of selling 2 Eliminators and buying another 2023 RS. Kawasaki let the good times roll with this model.
Nice review. I’m actually thinking about buying a Zepher so have been looking for all information that I can find. I agree, I think this model will steadily increase in value, much like the Z1s have over the last 10 years or so.
i was lucky enough to grab one out of chicago last weekend. it was listed for an hour and the buyer already had 3 offers...luckily they fell through and i drove 5 hours to get it.
Waiting for my 750c1 engine from rebuild. Would like an 1100! Lovely and underrated machines, and the aftermarket is busy! Can be as quick as you can afford it to be, which is why it's coming back stock! Fast enough anyway. My rule of thumb with the zephyr, if you're really starting to have fun, it's time to check the speedometer!
Great review, it resembles a lot suzuki vx 800 in style and shape which is also a great bike. What happened to the RF 1100? You haven't posted updates in a wile.
Hi. 1100 engine is all good. I removed that engine from the frame because i built another cool engine. I bought a junk RF 900 engine which was seized and i rebuild it plus i did a 6 speed gearbox conversion on it :) Not many RF900 with 6 speed transmissions around hehe. I filmed lots of videos from that project and will start uploading videos to show the conversion soon :)
@@Adikxx 6 speed RF!!!!!!! I'll watch every second of that project. I always felt that it needed 6th gear as a stock 900 but on 1100 is a must, I can't wait to see what happened! Good luck!

I love the 3rd person view riding the bike. I often miss this perspektive in other reviews.

@Andrew Campbell I ended buying a Laverda, but you never know, still like the idea owning a Zepher one day
@Andrew Campbell working on it😂😂😂

@@troywarner9546 I have only seen one for sale and it was a pile of junk sitting in a field. I am jealous.
Fvck, man! Everytime I'm looking to buy a brand new motorcycle and come across some more epic looking old motorcycles

Hi, if you had only 2000 euros, which bike would you buy nowadays?
I would wait until i had 2500 and buy SV1000.
gearbox only 5 ? my 550 has standard 6 and the 750 has 6 too?!
Yep, 1100 has 5 gears.
ONIZUKA'S Bike
I bought one new. Owned it maybe ten years and rode it all over America. Slow, clunky transmission, and hard to get
parts for.
Yea they are junk. Don't anyone buy one. The zrx is junk too, you are better off buying a 900 res.
