- Death Battle is a versus show on UA-cam that's been running for over 10 years now and as a result, has built up a massive fanbase, one that I'm regularly involved with. I love seeing two characters I know duke it out, and I like occasionally learning about characters I wouldn't have cared about otherwise. Of course, many fans have their own matchups they want on the show, and I'm no different. In this video, I'll be talking about the ten versus matchups that I'd want on the show sometime in the future.

I'd like to see Flippy from Happy Tree Friends vs. Rinny from Pretty Blood. They're both anthropomorphic bears that are vicious killers, and they're both from web series that involves cute anthropomorphic animals being slaughtered.

Chara VS. X is such an out there pick and I appreciate the guts you got for picking a matchup like this. While most people expect the SCP Foundation to be the first "use fanon that is reasonable" series, a battle with BOTH contestants using that could be really unique!!
Also, funny enough, your old self was right. Chara is able to erase entire worlds and move to the next whereas X is consistently shown to be contained to his realm (hence why he needs the game or some otherway to travel worlds since he can't do it on his own.) So if Chara destroyed the world X lived, he'd be toast. Plus X doesn't actually scale to the other Sonic members without fanon works because they're all basically in costumes. He looks like Sonic, and makes his victims Sonic characters, but in the original lore they don't actually have their abilities, hell they can't even run in the original lol. So Chara actually takes the W!
What do you mean "my old self"? Also, there are multiple iterations of X that have him fight against Sonic himself as well as iterations that suggest he is capable of using interdimensional travel with out the need of the game. He just uses the game a lot because he likes messing with people.

Plenty of interpretations scale X to the Sonic cast, I'm saying if we stick to the original canons. Fanon things get completely wacky (and ironically they technically scale to each other via Friday Night Funkin and that one Undertale thing you mentioned) and definitely lean towards X, though a full composite could be anyone's game lmao.
@@ZippityZab I think you misunderstood. What I said was I had past experiences arguing with someone else who believed Chara would win in this fight. I myself didn't believe Chara wins this fight.
Also, X doesn't really have a "canon" per say. He probably had one way back when he was introduced, but since those stories are incredibly dumb, nobody chooses to acknowledge them. Plus, X is now owned by three different people, all of which do different things with him including doing over the original game in an infinitely better way. It's really weird.
@@tonysonic456 My bad, i definitely misunderstood! I absolutely agree that X's original Canon is complete garbage lmao and am happy to throw it under the bus. His new owners made an official remake so that's at least something to look forward to! Who knows, maybe at some point there'll be enough of a main canon we don't need fanon stuff...then again the fanon stuff makes this matchup a lot more fun
yeah and also i think Chara take the W against Sonic Exe.. not be bias cause Exe is not as Strong as Lord X.. probably he only Uni+ at best meanwhile i scale Chara to Multiversal+ due to Undertale Cosmology is Type 1 Multiverse. and also Sonic Exe and Lord X are 2 different entities and idk how strong is Lord X is but against Sonic Exe, Chara is winning. and if we really want to include Lord X and other Creepypasta Sonic.. why don't we include all other Chara AU to make it fair.. not just Glitchtale or other AT(Altenate Timeline) but All AU's yeah including Xtale, Alphatale and whatever.. just to make it Fun, a War between All Sonic Exe Variant's Vs Chara AU's

He needed help from the Time Eater. The Time Eater helped get him out of there so it doesn’t count.
That was completely offscreen tho. We’re not exactly sure HOW he managed to escape. For all we know it was through something that Eggman had no chance of doing by himself so I don’t think we should use that for Eggman.

Personally, P&F, yes, the brothers themselves killing someone is definitely not something I want to see, But on the other hand, Phineas and Ferb versus Wallace and Gromit is such a great MU and I've been wanting it since I was a kid

My personal "never gonna happen" as well as straight up most wanted ever, just has to be Monkey D Luffy vs Jake the dog. Even though everyone wants Adventure Time vs Regular Show, and all of Luffy's matchups are against other shonen titans, this is still my most wanted due to how much these two series mean to me. Plus, I'm dead serious when I say this has the potential to be the next Saitama vs Popeye

Some matchups I’d like to see are:
Daffy Duck Vs Donald Duck. The DBX was great but it would be nice to see how things would play out if they applied research to it.
Marth vs Meta Knight. Subspace is my only real reason for wanting this. I dunno if Marth really scales to Meta Knight, but a DBX would suffice.
King K. Rool vs Gruntilda Winkybunion. Rare’s goofy green villains would provide a truly hilarious showdown for sure. K Rool would probably lose since Gruntilda’s technically immortal, but if he can reduce her to just her skull that could be counted as a win since she’s completely helpless in that state.
Honestly....you got me with Bowser vs Dr. Eggman.... because of how awesome it would be to see this,as well as Gru vs. Megamind. My favorite so far is Unicron vs Galactus

One of my most wanted matchups is for sure Paper Mario VS Yuu from The Cruel King and The Great Hero.
- Two Storybook RPG protagonists wielding blunt weapons who fight to protect the innocent from evil.
- Both team up with characters with their own special abilities, including one who can dig underground (Professor Toad and Rocky) and one who can carry them over gaps (Parakarry and Flora).
- Both have fought dark duplicates of themselves, friends who turned against them, and dragons (The TTYD Tail Trio, The Dragon King).
- Both sport a variety of elements whole attacks with the use of items.
- Both are blessed with assistance from spirits above them (The Star Sprits whom Mario can someone to help, and the Fountain Spirit who resides within Yuu's sword)
- Despite the two maturing over their journeys, they are still very childish and innocent, whether it be from Mario's optimism or Yuu literally just being a child.
The fight is simple enough to start - have Yuu reach rank #1 in the Glitz Pit so the Great Gonzales has to fight against her. It begins as a simple fight, but it grows out of hand once the two get thrown out of the stadium and continue their scuffle, ending with a clash between Star Beam and Great Flame Slash with the assistance of the Star and Fountain spirits.
It's pretty even, but Yuu does have more variety in her attacks and overall has more HP than Paper Mario at his peak, but less magic, so I say she just barely takes it.
Paper Mario wins this easily, my guy. The Cruel King and Great Hero verse reaches only city level at max while the Paper Mario verse easily reaches multiverse level.
@@Rediscool9 Really? Paper Mario definitely has powerful moves with stuff like Supernova and Clock Out, but they're usually limited by his Star Power.
Yuu, however, has much more stamina than Mario's FP, and though her attacks seem weaker (I'm not going by damage numbers, since the two games have entirely different systems with how damage is dealt), she can do a lot more of them.
It's a very debatable fight though, in my eyes.
Hey, for a startup for Gru vs Megamind, have Gru return something that was stolen, then attempt to back away only for Megamind to appear and mistake the situation for an actual robbery. Despite Gru attempting to explain he's returning the stolen item, Megamind will disapprove Gru's statement and monolog about his "Victory" and how he "stopped another crime", only for Gru to pull out the fart gun and fire at Megamind, resulting in Gru escaping and Megamind chasing after him.
I too have been wanting this battle and have been thinking about this for a while.
So basically the setup for Danny Phantom vs Jake Long? I guess that could work.

They could have Nightmare Eggman vs Dreamy Bowser, but while Nightmare Eggman from Sonic Dream Team possibly has a model, Dreamy Bowser from Mario and Luigi: Dream Team definitely doesn't have a model.
I don’t think either of those are viable options since those powers were permanently lost by the end of their games unlike Fury Bowser where it could technically be possible for Junior to replicate what he did to Bowser. Plus, how would you even scale them?
@@tonysonic456 why not look up power scaling videos for both characters that way you can have an idea for it.
Also, Bowser is a lot stronger than you really think in the video you said the black hole is at least star level
But in the ending of the first super Mario Galaxy game, Bowser has tang a black hole that was literally going to destroy the universe. as for dreamy Bowser in Mario and Luigi dream team, the Dreamstone was stated. To contain infinite universes in dreams.(I think it’s been a while since I played the games so I could be wrong.) meaning dreamy Bowser is at least Universal plus to possibly be Multiverse but if you wanna scale higher, you could simply say hyper verse.
@@superbowsersilva I think you're overestimating Dreamy Bowser. Nowhere in Dream Team is there a way to measure how powerful the Dream Stone can be beyond being able to wish for what you want which is extremely vague. Plus, the Dream Stone was shattered, put back together as a Dream Coin, and then shattered again; so it's not like Bowser has easy access to that power anymore.
Also, I literally said in the video that the ending of Galaxy 1 is highly debatable. We can't really be sure if everyone in it actually survived or died and were reborn. The game doesn't make that very clear at all.
@@tonysonic456 to be fair, Bowser did inhale the dream stones pieces while it’s shattered and turned into dreamy Bowser, but still he did gain all that power from the Dreamstone
As for the black hole, I kind of understand what you’re trying to say in the ending is debatable where if the galaxy was reset or not, but at the end of the day, it’s just my opinion.
@tonysonic456 what the game does make clear though is that. That's a universal explosion as the guide book and the final level which is called "the end of the universe" is called that as we'll
4:05 A matchup for Doofenshmirtz that I’d think would be interesting is Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible. Two goofy mad scientists that always manage to survive the cartoon shenanigans that happen to them.

I don't remember having seen a list like this one with exclusively nothing but bangers, with number 1 being a daring idea.
A matchup I currently obsessed with is Lilac (Freedom Planet) VS Ridley (Metroid)
Freedom Planet 2 came out recently for the Switch and I loving the game so far, I also a fan of Metroid, so it's a match made in heaven.
The connections ain't deep, just two otherworldly purple dragons, but it's the Hero VS Villain dynamic that interest me.
We had now a good amount of good guys VS bad guys on Death Battle, but there yet has to be one, where it truly feels like EVERYTHING is on the line.
The Story basically writes itself, the Space Pirate invading Avalice (Lilac's home planet) and an all out war breaks out with characters from both sides having their individual fights, with Lilac VS Ridley being the one fight that decides the war's outcome.
I imagining a scene where Lilac tries to lure Ridley away from civilians that are getting evacuated, but Ridley doesn't take the bait and deliberately goes after the civilians, attacking them, using one as a meat shield against her not because he needs to but because he can, so Lilac desperately protects them no matter the damage she has to take to do so.
That heroism is then rewarded by those same civilians and nearby soldiers, helping out Lilac by fighting back against Ridley so she can find an opening to turn the fight back to a proper one on one.
But never forget, this is a Death Battle first and a story second, so if the Water Dragon can't pull through against the Cunning God of Death, better have some tissues ready, because those staks are real and they can drop hard.
Or perhaps a nightmare will be prevented from happening, I don't know who wins.
Sad thing is, both characters have more popular options and the expectations I have for this niche matchup, IF it ever happens at all, are too big for a normal Death Battle with a normal budget...so... yeah... kinda setting myself up for disappointment over here.🥲

1) Light Yagami vs. Walter White (Death Note vs. Breaking Bad)
- I remember Levitation's video on it and I was sold on the idea. it's honestly a way better matchup than Collumbo vs. Light Yagami. Both were normal good citizens turned evil due to an unforseen circumstance. Be it cancer or evil notebooks, both basically abandoned their moralities in pursue of their goals leaving behind tragedies in their wake. The two fighting wouldn't even be out of character since Light hates criminals and Walter became one of the biggest drug lords in Albuquerque. It's less Walter White vs. Light Yagami but rather Kira vs. Heisenberg and it's a race to see who could figure out who's identity first.
2) Perry the Platypus vs. Mr. Kat (Disney Channel vs. Nickelodeon)
- Both are sapient animals who assumed the identity of your ordinary pets to hide their true identity from their foster family. The difference, one is a secret agent of an organization sworn to protect the world, the other is an inside agent for an alien planet. Kat is probably smarter than Perry but Perry seems more strategic in combat. Kat's advantage would be his alien physiology allows him to do absurd amounts of things such as spit out acid, claws that can slice through anything, and based on the WIKI, is durable enough to even survive nuclear explosions. Perry however specializes in martial arts, and creative thinking as he's been able to get out of mostly any trap using whatever is in his surroundings, as well as his spy arsenal being made up of your standard jetpack, grappling gun, a glider, parachute with his face on it, etc.
3) Jesse vs the Prince (Telltales' Minecraft: Story Mode vs. CaptainSparklez's Fallen Kingdom series)
- An unorthodox one for sure but here's my reasons. The two series I feel like captures the essence of what Minecraft is about, which is creating your own story with the game being it's building blocks. It also does it stunningly with their world building, stunning visuals, and simple yet impactful story. The two series were also staples of many people's childhoods including mine. The fighters are essentially just Minecraft players with better combat being able to utilize their own fighting style. Jesse has incredible reaction speeds with his fight against Ivor who used swiftness potion, as well as being capable of taking out powerful threats such as the wither storm that would've basically devoured the world as well as the Admin, who's essentially a full on reality warper. The Prince on the otherhand, was developed to be a master sword fighter since he was young, capable of singlehandedly taking out armies of pigman, fight against a colossal guardian, blew up a wither with TNT, and slew Herobrine who was capable of flying at absurd speeds, teleporting, manifesting fireballs, you get the idea. The difference I can see between the two is that Jesse will use whatever he has on his person such as enderpearls to teleport around or even a fishing rods to pull down a ghast, while the Prince will use his training as well as his surroundings to get the upperhand in the battle.

Samus Aran From Metroid Vs Firefly From Honkai Star Rail.
The connections between Samus and Firefly is that they're both deadly galactic bounty hunters powered exoskeleton, both of their home planet has been attacked by insect-like aliens leaving them a lonely survivor from invasion were later adopted and recruited by ancient being (Grey Voice and Elio, respectively), and work with human (Adam and Kafka, respectively), and wear high-tech exoskeleton (Chozo and Sam armor), both Samus and Firefly has developed an illness (Samus was infected by X Parasite, and Firefly has suffered Entropy Loss Syndrome), both Samus and Firefly have encountered with purple dragon-like that has been chasing after them (Ridley and Death Meme, respectively), interestingly both Samus and Sam were mistaken as a male before they revealed that both Samus and Firefly are female at the end.
Samus Vs Master Chief is more popular, but that has become such a one sided battle in favor of Samus, especially if we use her Manga feats. And yes the Manga is canon until Nintendo says otherwise.
I'd like to see Anne Boonchuy vs Luz Nodeca, or King Andreas vs Emperor Belos. (Both Amphibia vs Owl House)
I even have inciding incidents in mind for both bouts.

They both were screwed over by the gods of their respective worlds, They both are immortal and cannot die, Have powerful monsters to command, very powerful magic to use against each other, Scary as hell, Deep hatred for the world that has been built up for Millenia, And just down right too powerful at times.
For the battle itself, Salem would have the better magical offence since she can just keep her distance from Ardyn (Considering that Spells are a LIMITED Item in FF15), But Ardyn has the better close in and close combat options thanks to his own Warp ability. But as for their creatures, Ardyn's Ifrit would Easily fold ANY Creature of Grimm Salem throws at him. However they both are immortal and just cannot die.
So how does the battle get decided?
For this, We'd have to ignore the FF15 game, and turn to it's Novel that caps off the cancelled DLCs for the game itself, which also included not just an alternative, but the CANON Ending to FF15.
Noctis gives the ring of the kings to Ardyn which he accepts, and Ardyn is the one that transcends as the king. And when Noctis defeats and destroys Bahamut, Ardyn finishes Bahamut off in the realm between life and death, just like how Noctis destroyed Ardyn in the game.
So, If Ardyn also has the Kings ring, he can drag Salem into the realm between life and death(If that's even possible), And Destroy her soul and kill her.
Thus the victor would be Ardyn.
But hey, it's just how I believe this match up would go.

I have an interesting Death Battle matchup, featuring a character from one of your favourite games.
Undyne (UNDERTALE) VS Gideon Jura (Magic: The Gathering)
There are in fact, few very good connections between those two.
Both belong to a group that is tasked to protect others (the Royal Guard and Gatewatch).
Both are very good people and friends, willing to do anything for those they care about.
And both sacrificed themselves, so the others could live (Undyne willing to die in a fight against Frisk, so Alphys could get other monsters to safety, and Gideon sacrifising himself, by using his magic to take Liliannas contract and its lethal effects upon himself, which proved to be a deciding factor in the War of the Spark).
As to who would win? Gideon. Gideon would win. Why?
1. Experience. Gideon is a Planeswalker, which means he can travel betwen various planes of existence. He dealt with undead, dragons, gods, and even eldrazi (which are basically lovecraftian beings, living in between the planes). He is way more experienced in fighting powerfull foes, then Undyne, who was stuck in the Underground, and only fought with Frisk, and other fallen children as far as we know.
2. Magic. Gideon is a hieromancer. Hieromancers, are mages that use their protective power to enforce lawful order or suppress the abilities of others. This means, that Gideon could use his magic, to weaken Undyne attacks.
3. Durability. Thanks to his magic, Gideon is invulnerable. On Amonkhet (a ancient Egypt based plane), Gideon stood in between goddess Hazoret, and a man named Djeru. Hazoret was about to pierce Djeru with her spear, and Gideon tanked that! He tanked thrust of a spear, that is ten times as big as he is, wielded by a literall goddess. Undyne in her Undying form has a pretty good defense, that being 99, but she can still be defeated by a kid with a knife.
But in all honestly, I wouldn't want either of them to loose. Both Undyne and Gideon are just too good of a people. They are True Heroes, after all.
I believe, that right before Undyne would die (due to too much DETERMINATION in her soul, thanks to her Undying form), she would say, how she can feel that Gideon is just like her, a guardian, protecting those who cannot fight for themselves. She would ask Gideon to promise her, that he would protect the inhabitants of the Underground in her place. Gideon would comply, holding her gently, as she would slowly turn into dust. That would make Undyne smile for the last time, seeing as now her friends and her home, are in good hands.
Then, I would show the Monster Kid, and Frisks interaction, during the Genocide route. Everything would go as normal, with Monster Kid making a brave stand against the player. And right as the player attacks Monster Kid... Gideon steps in, in the same way, as Undyne normally would. The episode would end on a cliffhanger (similar to the Jonathan VS Tanjiro fight), as Gideon stand in front of Frisk, DETERMINED to stop the Genocide route, once and for all.

Lmfao, I made that Peach vs Amy thumbnail like a good 2 or 3 years ago now. Never thought I'd see it here of all places. Gotta agree though, the match-up is definitely mid as fuck, I wouldn’t want to see it these days either.
Personally, I prefer Sonic.EXE vs Error Sans. But, I'd be lying if I said that a fight between Chara vs Sonic.exe wouldn't be intriguing to watch. And yeah, it does have a hell of potential.
I even imagined an ending, where after Sonic.exe defeated Chara (Well, kill them for the last time), Chara felt interested in being the first human to acquire his soul, them being not a human from the real-life world, and after the Having an entertaining fight with Chara, he decided to reward them by turning them into one more of his toys. Putting their soul in one of the Sonic characters, Amy Rose (Although this Amy is in clothing, it would be the classic one, but in some aspects, it would be similar to the modern one for some parallelisms to Chara, Amy's body being a reference to both some fanmade games, such as Amy's first appearance in games Sonic.exe that been Sally.exe as modern Amy.). Only to put Amy in a green hill zone flower bed (being a clear parallel to how Chara fell underground). Waiting for Amy to wake up, whenever another player comes across a CD of Sonic.EXE, to start a new sick, cruel, twisted, round.
At least, that's how I imagined it to play out.
I would love to see Chai take on Hibito from Draglade besides the obvious similarities aka hot-blooded sword(makeshift guitar sword in Chai's case and Sword-Type G-Con in Hibito's case) wielders with a heart of gold who tend to rush into things without thinking from rhythm/hack and slash titles.
Now feats are pretty similar as they both have beaten opponents that are seemingly out of their league.
Also for the fight itself not only do we have the potential for stellar animation, we also have the potential for a rocking track, and great at times hilarious back-and-forth between the two protagonists as they do have a tendency to make snarky wisecracks from time to time.

A fun death battle matchup that I would understand if people didn’t like came to mind for me. Sam and Dean Winchester vs the I.M.P. Hitmen. Yes it would be a 2 v 3 but Sam has demon powers so I think it balances out. To be fair, I haven’t finished Supernatural, and Helluva Boss is still being worked on in season 2, but I just think it would be fun. I do think the Winchesters would win but I doubt it would be a stomp.

1: I just love the concept of these two Eldritch beasts, so incomprehensibly beyond our... well... comprehension, you could really delve into the horror aspect of it, hammering home how insignificant we all are. Also I imagined the fight to be would be way less Galactus vs Unicron and more so Shredder vs Silver Samurai, not in terms of scale, oh no, but in terms of tone. An episode that would be comfortable setting the silence up to immerse you. Also Lovecraft's work I just genuinely really love, so it'd be fun to see it get analyzed
2: I personally don't care that much about Uncle Grandpa, but Xavier Renegade Angel is one of my favorite shows of all time and the character is just way too entertaining. I've heard Alex YIIK is a better matchup for him, but I have even LESS idea of who he is than I do of Uncle Grandpa, so yeah. You can honestly filter my number 2 spot for any opponent against Xavier and I'd be happy with it.
3: Reverse Flash vs The Master is more popular, but Doom gels with Master WAAAAY WAY better imo, both personality and fighting style wise. Yeah I mean this is just a fight between two simultaneously loveable yet hateable ingenious, petty supervillains with the quantity of gadgets to satisfy their egos.
4. Now Steve vs Terrarian on it's own is a pretty popular matchup, but I almost kinda wish they would include the mods as well. It is just such a cool idea in my mind. Maybe not ALL MODS, as that WOULD admittedly be way too much, but maybe Feed the Beast vs Nexus mods exclusives. I find this matchup interesting as it's one of the very few ones which has characters with mind blowing OP arsenal, and yet the actual cosmology is very thinly defined, so you cannot determine a winner by seeing which cosmology has more spatial dimensions or whatever to destroy, and it's ENTIRELY based on carefully observing the abilities. I've had this debate with some people before, and it's BY FAR the most fun I've ever had debating between characters who are above street tier, they just have so many zany and wacky abilities which are fun to talk about.
I actually do have a good idea for the fight setup for Megamind vs. Gru actually.
My idea is that the AVL sends Gru to Metro City to go fight Megamind because they still believed he was a villain unaware that he had redeemed himself.
I guess that could work, but if the AVL was aware that Gru reformed when they brought him in, it'd be a little weird for them to not know that Megamind reformed, especially since Metro City had a huge celebration for him when he became a hero.
Here’s a fun idea for the Travis Vs Jack matchup. At one point during Jack’s analysis segment, have Wiz and Boomstick interrupted by the Deathwatch commentators, Howard Buckshot Holmes and Kreese Kreely.

1. Him (Powerpuff Girls) VS Alastor (Hazbin Hotel)
Reasons Why:
Both are known to wear red as their dominant color in their attire, have strangely distorted voices (HIM had a noticeable echo as if in a cave and Alastor sounded as if he was on the radio), and can be manipulative in nature.
Winner: His Infernal Majesty would come out on top because Alastor is a sitting duck without his microphone.
2. Bill Cipher (Gravity Falls [not their first rodeo having him on the show]) VS Mr. Mxyzptlk (DC Comics)
Reasons Why:
Both can manipulate reality on the fly and are known to bully the main cast of their respective realms. Mxyzpltlk may not make any deals, but he still works as a reality-warping fiend.
Winner: Funnily enough, Bill Cipher would win by forfeit as I can picture Mr. Mxyzptlk tricking him back into the Nightmare Realm (much like Discord did in his match-up with that triangular terror) and saying his name backward on purpose to give himself a 90 staycation.
3. The Trix (Winx Club) VS Sanderson Sisters (Hocus Pocus)
Reasons Why:
Both sets are essentially a coven who are related to one another. The Trix are triplets born on the same day, and the Sanderson sisters are related by blood despite being a few years apart from each other.
Winners: Sadly the Trix would win the match due to the Sanderson Sisters being less than cooperative with each other as well as heavy reliance on their spellbook. Not to mention their short amount of time on earth due to that blasted candle.
4. RX-78-2 Gundam (Gundam series) VS Evangelion Unit-01 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Reasons Why:
Both require a pilot to operate them as well as defend the earth from alien invasions as well corrupt officials.
Winner: The Gundam is more than likely to win because the pilot, Amura Rey, has more experience in combat. Poor Shinji was just thrown into the war without prior training. You can blame his father for that one.

I can see the setup for Gru vs Megamind: Megamind and Gru are playing Go Fish (because of course they would do something like that on Fridays if they knew of each other), and Megamind wants to keep a minion as a pet. Gru doesn’t let him because the minion still needs to finish cleaning the remains of a test chamber (or something), and a petty squabble ensues. Of course, we all know that’s enough for a Death Battle to break out, lmao.
Honestly, I’m slightly more worried about how you would tastefully portray one of these guys getting killed. Probably by getting squashed by some giant machine or other (possibly by accident), only to get revived by the other as a zombie or something.

I really want Henry to appear on death battle but it was hard to find a matchup for him and some of the only matchups I've seen from looking up potential matches are other stick figure characters and that's not interesting at all. For a while I was thinking of maybe putting him against Carmen Sandiego since she's pulled off similar heists but then I realized Wario was right there. I want Henry Stickmin vs Wario because they're both treasure focused individuals who go on all sorts of wacky adventures to get some treasure. I mostly agree with Jack v Grinch except for 2 things.
1. Jack is definitely faster. It took the grinch a whole night to rob one town, but in NBC the newscaster states "Reports are pouring in from all over the globe. . ." Implying that Jack has similar globetrotting abilities to santa due to being a holiday icon, which can be inferred from the song Jack's Lament.
2. The grinches all have different backgrounds and motivations. I can forgive mixing one of the remakes with the OG due to it being rather plain and characterless. But Jim and Benadryl's movies are separate.
(Also I think the fight should end with Jack scaring Grinch to death due to his sorted cardiovascular history)

Although my actual favorite matchup ever that I don’t really include in lists like this because it doesn’t have a chance in hell of happening is Sonic from the Paramount sonic the hedgehog films and Anne Boonchuy from Amphibia. It's been... literally a month since you posted this, and you already posted the opposite of it a few hours or so ago, but I really want to get this off of my chest: *Compile Heart/Idea Factory deserves to get matchups.*
My main pick, and this even shocked _me_ when I thought of it... is probably Kirito (from Sword Art Online) VS Shina (from Death End re;Quest). They're both swordfighters who, in the first installment of their series, are trapped inside of a game, having to beat it in order to escape. But they only have one shot at it, because getting a game-over means their death in reality as well. Now, of course, Shina technically has _infinite_ chances due to some God of Death shenanigannery, but still, you get my point. They're also both _surprisingly powerful,_ with Kirito having some really high-level scaling you can get, and Shina actively glitching both herself and the world she's in when using her most powerful abilities, which could lead to some interesting interactions between their skill sets.
Then, of course, there's the contrast. While Kirito is primarily a swordsman, Shina is actually primarily a magic user _despite_ wielding a sword (and yes I know you could say that makes her a better fit for Asuna but shaddap). While Kirito's journey to escape Sword Art Online is done solely from inside the game, Shina's attempt to leave World's Odyssey via the Ending Engage is an active team effort with people that are still in reality, trying to solve the conspiracy that got her stuck there in the first place. And while Kirito was able to escape SAO relatively fine... late into Death End, you find out that Shina is actually _already dead_ by the time we see her. The Shina we play as is a data replica of her, only able to keep existing past the Ending Engage because the Ludens brought her back. Arata has to actively screw with time in order to _actually_ bring back Shina.
Not sure about the setup, I don't really think that through in its entirety when coming up with match-ups, but animation-wise? _3D all the way._ I know that anime VS anime fights tend to be done in 2D sprites, but Death End re;Quest is a 3D game series and SAO has plenty of 3D games to draw from. Nab a Kirito model from one of those and you're golden. (Also I want to see Kirito Starburst Stream his way through some variation of Superbloom)
In terms of the winner, well... you could honestly argue either way, at least in my opinion, but I wanna give the advantage to Shina. Thanks to later reveals about the engine that all the Full-Dive games operate under, whether they be played with a NerveGear or an AmuSphere, Kirito - even when outright refusing to die when his health dropped to 0 in SAO's finale - was still technically operating under the rules of the game world, as loose as they may be. Shina, thanks to her higher-tier abilities actively glitching whatever system she's in, technically doesn't abide by _any_ rules, giving her a degree of freedom that Kirito simply doesn't have. This may not help much in a scaling sense, but I can still see it being a factor in Shina's possible victory.

9: Father vs Big Mom (Kids next door vs One piece) two single parents who uses their kids to fight around their enemies are known for their trademark color and cake this work surprisingly well in both power and personally wise with strict father vs childish mother so it would be fun match in general track name: parents wrath
8: Mordecai and Rigby vs Finn and Jake do I really need to say more about this one track name: Show Time
7: Naruto vs Luffy (Naruto vs One Piece) it’s pirate vs ninja add two of the biggest, shonen protagonist in anime (not counting Goku) and considering we’re at the final saga I see this matchup happening in the future especially with gear 5 toon force track name: Shonen Kings
6: Princess Zelda vs Princess Peach 2 (Zelda vs Mario) honestly, I mostly want this matchup just for spectacle alone and with Wonder and Showtime out as well as the wild series it would be great just imagine dragon Zelda towering over Peach as she’s in her sword, fighter outfit looking up with determination ready to slay her while they’re in a thunderous storm that would be awesome track name: princesses of light.
5: Brook vs Polnareff (One Piece vs Jojo) to Fence fighters who are known for their trademark goofy hairstyles are comic reliefs in their respective series but have suffered serious lost of love ones and have made promise to themselves i’m honestly surprised this one isn’t popular as it’s got connections along with characters that complement each other really well and on top of that it’s the only matchup that would use silver chariot requiem so that makes it a win in my book track name: Hollow Chariot
4: Jin Kazama vs Yusuke Urameshi (Tekken vs Yu Yu Hakusho) two half demon kids whose demon blood comes from their great ancestors and have a transformation of said demon blood who are brawlers that shoot lasers and with well-known colors, red and green this is another one that I’m also surprised isn’t popular there’s even arguments for both of them being planet level oh yeah dump Ryu and go for the Spirit, detective delinquent track name: Devils with in us.
3: Kirby vs SpongeBob SquarePants (Nintendo vs Nick) two characters that look harmless at first glance but are powerful god like beings with infinite power Who are known for their square and circle shapes are the purest beings in their worlds and most importantly, it’s pink vs yellow this one just has too much going for it. We’re both Kirby and SpongeBob bouncing back-and-forth with each other’s abilities and while I haven’t been debating on who wins this might actually be an L for the pig puffball since I don’t think he has anything that could kill SpongeBob permanently so yeah still a fun match up track name: pink yellow.
2: Mario vs Mickey Mouse (Nintendo vs Disney) to be clear, this is composite match for both I feel like it would be right for these two The king of video games vs The king of cartoons both kick started/save they respected medias in a certain time both are classic characters that stood the test of time always staying relevant and despite fans depicting them to be selfish greedy jerks both Mario and Mickey are two of the most purest examples of heroes risking their lives to do the right thing with a smile on their face everything I mean everything that these two have would work great in a fight but the most important thing is that they get both characters personalities, right no racist, Mario parody or South park Mickey nonsense just a friendly’s spar between the two as for the track name: mascot medium.
And finally 1: Yhwach vs Funny Valentine (Bleach vs Jojo’s Bizare Adventure) two high rank leaders who committed filthy acts for the greater good of their worlds Who have manipulated the journey of the heroes from behind the scenes would later gain the ability to bend fate at their will this match up is a little personal to me as it’s the one matchup that got me really into versus debating in general and while I know the chances of, this one happening are slim to none The fact I wouldn’t be into this as much if it wasn’t for this specific match up for me is something i’ll always be grateful for is it the most Framatic match of all time not really is it the most fair fight kinda it’s like a David vs Goliath battle with Yhwach stats stomping but valentine having hax that help him keep up and bypass durability but it gets really debatable when you bring up their Ultimate abilities The Almighty and Love Train with Love Train being A lot stronger than the Almighty but the Almighty have a lot more tools to work with as well, as have both characters arguing about, which is the right thing to do which is why I love it so much as for the track name: Almighty Stand Off. anyway Great video as always Tony disagreed on Eggman winning have a good day.

Quick reminders for kh2 if you want to see the secert movie play on critical mode for the easiest time and for the gummi mission create a dount gummi ship cause enemies will always hit the middle of your ship so creating a dount will cause you to not get hit in the middle for all the s ranks you need for the gummi missions

For me, the Legend of Zelda and Kingdom Hearts are some of my favorite series, so I want Link vs Sora. These heroes carrying weapons forged to fight the darkness, both inside and out. This could either be a composite Link (like in Link vs Cloud) or focus on Tears of the Kingdom, that way we can have Link and the Sages vs Sora, Donald and Goofy.
The main difference between the 2 would be fighting style (Link is more cautious, letting his enemy slip up while Sora is more aggressive, only pulling back when in grave danger) as Sora's magic and Link's equipment make them both very versatile. I mean I think Sora would win due to how much power scaling is in 3, but I also expect the fight to end with Sora firing a Keyblade beam (similar to Sora vs Pit), and Link parries it like a Guardian beam, winning the fight. (Also the potential of an Ancient arrow deleting the Kingdom Key for Sora to just immediately re-summon it, confusing Link, sounds like a fun gag)
Honestly Sonic.EXE vs Red is my most wanted matchup since they were some of my favorite creepypastas and they have a lot more connections then on the surface level
I have 2 matchups I would love to see in Death battle, despite not being that big of a fan of it:
The first matchup would be The Ink Demon (Bendy) versus Malak (Dark Deception): two feared demons in their respective universes' supernatural dimensions that at one point appeared on earth (Malak was summoned by Bierce for a deal where she would become famous before Malak took her soul, and The Ink Demon was born in the real world via the ink machine and spends the novels on the planet before being trapped in The Cycle), and have been shown being masters at manipulating the player characters (Malak managed to lay a trojan virus in Doug's mind to fully access the ballroom Bierce was trapped in when she attempted to get out of the deal, whilst The Ink Demon in BATDR managed to get Audrey to fuse with him to become a more complete version of his Beast form). I would have the battle start with Malak having the upper hand against the oldest variation of BATIM's Ink Demon design, before the Ink Demon mutates slowly his Dark Revival Design, then both of his Beast designs. I feel like the Ink Demon would win because he eventually becomes fast enough in BATDR to kill his opponents after screwing with their mind no matter how skilled they are, whilst Malak relies on his army more than his own physical skills. However, they're both proven to be unkillable outside of one Achilles's Heel that needs to be assembled (The Riddle of Heaven Ring for Malak and The End for The Ink Demon), so it's a 50/50 on who would win.
The other matchup I would love to see would be CatNap (Poppy Playtime) versus The Scarecrow (DC): two villains with fear toxins. CatNap was a child who was turned into the monster he is today to save his life after getting electrocuted when he attempted to escape the Playtime Co. Facility with help from The Prototype, whilst The Scarecrow is typically presented as someone who would become a former Arkham psychologist obsessed with fear becoming a criminal utilising fear. I feel like Scarecrow would have his mask be destroyed before being hit with CatNap's toxin after his toxin proves ineffective to the feline, and would basically cause him to have to face his fear of Batman. Scarecrow would recover from the toxin, before CatNap would chase him down. Scarecrow would keep CatNap at bay by damaging gas pipes, and would win by electrocuting CatNap with an exposed wire when he attempts to use the toxin, before stabbing the weakened feline.
My most wanted is Gumball Watterson vs Chowder.
Bowser and eggman both go far beyond star level. And ai disagree with the army segment unlike eggman's bowser's basic mooks get some wild scaling and hax that's kinda makes most of eggman's army not a real threat to them. To the point that it would take eggman's mid and high tier to really do anything as mook to mook Bowser's wins. And even with the mid and high tiers I say it is a upuill battle do to how eggman operates with him usual being hjs own bosses. Meaning that bowser's mid and high teirs simply outnumber his.

I know I mentioned this in a comment, but...
Zavok vs. Tai Lung need to be a Death Battle someday!
Taking a look at both characters, they're... actually similar in a lot of areas. Both being taught under their masters, who can both kick serious ass in a fight themselves, both being ferocious in their fighting styles and both having egos the size of China.
However, there are a few differences still. For one, while Tai Lung is a lone wolf (or lone snow leopard, rather), Zavok usually relies on a team to do their part, whether it's the Deadly Six or the assortment of villains in the Bad Guys mini-series.
And while Tai Lung is emotionally unstable and can't keep a cool head in a fight, Zavok is more than capable to do so. Hell, he can probably encourage Tai Lung to better himself as the fight goes, like he did with Starline in the 2nd Bad Guys issue.
The choreography would also go bonkers, with the fight starting under an intense thunderstorm as Zavok and Tai Lung face off on the mechanical dragon from Sonic Lost World. Then the fight would go inside the temple, and as the sun begins the rise, the two begin taking the fight to the empty streets, much like the KFP1 climax.
In terms of winner... Eh, I see this fight going both ways, but with how he's able to keep a cool head, plus a potential upgrade from the power cores (giving him additional strength (see: Bad Guys mini-series)), I feel like Zavok's gonna win after a hard-fought bout. But I will admit... Tai Lung's got a great shot.
I don't really have one I want to see, but after considering, I do wanna give my analysis on who wins certain categories in Bowser vs eggman
In terms of pure power and durability, I think I give it to Bowser, as eggman usually doesn't take as much of a beating as sonic, and moreso the machines do. Now, not to say those machines don't count, but bowsers adventures have shown that he's no slouch in durability, and especially power. However, I have gone back and forth on if Bowser is stronger than eggman's machinery at peak, but with some forms like dreamy Bowser, for me he takes it.
In terms of intelligence, it's an obvious eggman sweep.
Speed, for me at least, goes to eggman even outside of his machines.
Now, in terms of abilities, I think Bowser takes it. people forget that he was the one who turned the toads into bricks, and with the arsenal of items and tricks he just has around the castle, eggman can't necessarily be prepared for everything.
In terms of armies? I think you're underselling some troops. Chain chomps are near indestructible, they can't hurt boo's, and kamek is arguably up there with the koopalings. But also, yes, I do think the robot army beats the koopa army.
I think experience in battles goes to a draw, or very slightly towards Bowser. He's been around longer, and they both have had pretty strong opponents.
All and all, who do I think wins? Very tough decision, and I've gone back and forth on this, but I think Bowser is too durable and too strong for eggman to put down. However, as you said, I don't think it's an easy fight. Bowser is headstrong, so I can see eggman making a plan. But for me, the armies, while are cool, are more of a non-factor because I don't think metal sonic, or any of his army, could hurt Bowser. And vice versa, I think kamek, Bowser Jr and the koopalings are tricky, but they won't put eggman down either. I think Bowser would at first struggle with some of the mechs, but I don't think it would be enough for the kill.
I don’t think Eggman is faster than Bowser outside of his machines. Him “outrunning” Sonic can easily be seen as Sonic going easy on him. I just don’t see a machineless Eggman zipping around Bowser like Sonic because he’s never shown physical speed like that outside of his mechs. Bowser meanwhile has plenty of good speed feats by himself unlike Eggman.
@@Rediscool9 id put it at least at even because the games where he DOES escape on foot don't matter if you're at full speed or just walking. But either way, I do think the machines still make the difference, the battle won't be decided by eggman on his own, he'll absolutely be in a machine
