It's so interesting to me that two people can have different experiences of the same thing. In regard to the BoJ sunscreen, I find the Klair's to be much lighter. BoJ is creamier than I want it to be and it sits heavier. This just swipes on. I like this sunscreen a lot. In my experience, a sunscreen usually has some downside/compromise somewhere. I haven't found it yet with the Klaire's.
Just got mine and tried it out. I have sensitive acne prone skin and sensitive eyes, and it feels great on my face, no white case, no greasy feeling at all. One issue though... it does sting your eyes. If you're looking for one that doesn't your eyes, this isn't for you.
You mean it's not ok for sensitive eyes?
Please let me know
Thanks for reviewing this. I bought this sunscreen few days back and definitely will give it a try. Also, I'm From has just launched their first ever Sunscreen "Rice Sunscreen"! I'm so excited for that, and please review that if you can!
@Galaxy Life Their Instagram!
I love I’m From products!! Can’t wait to hear all about this new release!
I wonder whether I’m From chose rice after the popularity of the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen? Curious to try it!
@@AS0398 I feel like that's one reasons they chose Rice as the key, plus their Rice line is like their signature line so no surprise they decided to extend sunscreen in that line!
Could you try more sunscreens marketed as "face and body" that are more affordable please? 🥺 I love your videos and how thorough you are with your reviews 💖💖💖
Altruist Sunscreens are amazing and can be used on both face and body . BondiSands one too if in 🇺🇸 .
I'm waiting on my StyleVana Haul , I ordered Beauty of Joseon Rice SPF and got 2 for £17.99 . I do 2 layers , easier application . Thanks for Great Content ! 👏❤🇬🇧🌈
Thank you for reviewing this Ramon. Almost no SPF will turn my head. I use LRP UVMUNE 400 almost exclusively, but I do confess that I love the EVY SPF 50 Face as well, especially when I feel drier than normal. I just bought a few of the Biore 2019 from Stylvana... and I just found four or five of the CosRx Aloe Soothing SPF 50 when I was doing some inventory in my supplies. Also the Isntree one is very good, with great coverage... I know you will hate this, but it makes me totally black in my UV mirror. I recently tested some things using that, and that really helped me part with some of those things. Looked like I put on nothing in the UV Reveal tablet. Into the trash those things went.
I tried this sunscreen and everything you said was on point. It’s a really good sunscreen, but it’s 2022 now and there are many other Korean sunscreens that feel more lightweight and less dewy.
Can you suggest some of those lightweight ones?
@@nishhhh12yearsago55
Daily sunscreens:
Round lab/ Beauty of Joeson/ Hygee relief sun/ Isehan sunkiller perfect water essence/ Scinic.
Water resistant sunscreens:
Biore UV athlizm. (It’s lightweight but looks a bit dewy)
Missha water proof sun milk ( it leaves a soft finish that doesn’t feel oily)
These are the best Japanese and Korean sunscreens I’ve tried so far.
One of the problem i have with all these ‘great’ korean chemical sunscreen is that they are all more or less than same differ in slight texture, finish, ingredients…would be nice to see something that offers something different such as water resistance or dna repair which hardly existence.
Thanks! I'm removing it from my shopping basket. I have oily-combo skin.
I ran out of my old favorite k-beauty sunscreen (Mizon tone up +spf) so I decided to try this one after checking out the ingredients. I have sensitive combination skin and this sunscreen works really well for me. I love the dewey finish and I don't mind the slightly heavy feel. The only thing I wish would be for it to be waterproof/sweatproof. I'm a dancer and I swim a lot so I was hoping it would hold up for that but it doesn't really last. Still great for everyday wear though.
Thank you for your review! I use this and the isntree watery gel. While I do like the klairs sunscreen, I personally prefer isntree more! I’m waiting for the cooler months to finally try the BoJ sunscreen XD I look forward to the next review!!
Thank you for your amazing review as usual. I really miss wearing organic sunscreen as I struggle to find non-drying, luminous sunscreens that wear well under makeup in the UK but every single chemical sunscreen (except for the old PURITO and Klairs ones, I believe) I tried just breaks me out. Keeping my fingers crossed for more physical sunscreen releases and reviews 🤞
Skin1004 has a tinted mineral sunscreen that honestly blew me away. I have their original chemical sunscreen, but recently picked up their mineral one too. I'm not really a mineral girl and don't really know why I added it to my cart if I'm honest, but I bought it, figured I'd try it, and oh my God did it shock me! It's the lightest mineral sunscreen I've ever used! It spreads so silky smooth, didn't collect in my eyebrows or hairline, and the tint didn't match me perfectly when I poured it out but somehow sheered out invisibly into my skin. And it's SPF50++++! And it even my skintone and texture, almost like a pore filling primer. It's insane! Please try it; I'd love to know what you think!
I can't stand most sunscreens and this one is quite nice on the skin. But when it migrates to my eyes feels oily/greasy on them (doesn't sting my eyes, though).
I'm loving Beauty of Joseon Rice&Probiotics one and is perfect for every season apart from Summer as its not WR .
But that one is always out of stock in nykka 🥺🥺🥺
I feel good when I watch your videos because there are so many information..please please make a video on best waterproof sunscreen..please it’s my request..please I need it..I love in Bangladesh which is a tropical country…I stay outside a long time everyday and when I go outside I literally drenched in my sweat….so I need a good waterproof..I always use missha all around waterproof sun milk..it’s good but I wanna try out other Korean brands so please make a video on waterproof sunscreen..I badly need it
I'm trying to choose between this or beauty of joseon, I think i'll be going for the latter for now
While I liked this, I agree I liked the Beauty of Joseon better. It's more lightweight, and while the Klairs isn't heavy, it's on the verge of being too thick for a daily sunscreen for me personally. And to be honest, if I'm not wearing it daily, I'll probably never wear it unless it's a water proof sunscreen: which this also isn't. I think dryer skin types will like the Klairs more
Thanks for reviewing this. The Beauty of Joseon doesn’t work for me, so maybe this will.
The I’m Rice sunscreen has peaked my interest, I’d like to hear your thoughts about it.
Hopefully I’ll get it soon!
Ouch this one is expensive. I can't imagine this one being better than the BOJ one for nearly doubling its price.
Ramon can you consider reviewing the by wishtrend UV Defense moist cream?! It is my FAVOURITE of all time. It’s just a bit pricey since I’m Canadian.. but nonetheless I haven’t found anything topping it. Would love to hear your thoughts as well! ❤
Will do! 🥰
My new favorite is Skin1004 sun serum - would love to hear your thoughts. Also interested to hear what you think about the make prem fingerless sun essence. The applicator is something to talk about, lol.
Wow i like to see that too. I want to see something different in korean sunscreens because to me that are all good but similar….starting to get bored. This fingerless sunscreen sounds so interesting!
Iunik new Centella Sunscreen
can u do a video on long lasting sunscreen? I horrible at rememberin to reapply! and does this one really last alll day?
Wistrend and skin1004 blue sunscreen please 😁
Yes! I haven’t really seen any reviews for the new Wishtrend spf
Plss review the derma b every day sunblock
Lmaaoo “sunscreen gate 2020”
Omg not the circadian protection 😂
Ingredient suppliers will really say anything huh 💀
Did this come with a protective seal?
i don't like the beauty of Joseon one and I don't like this one either. I however love the kiss me mommy sunscreen, checks all my boxes!
What don’t you like about those?
@ with the the klairs one, i have to agree with you. i was so impressed with the initial application of the product that when it suddenly felt heavy on my skin i was confused and thought i did something wrong, so the next morning i applied it, i put nothing but the sunscreen on my skin and SAME RESULTS. i was really upset over it bc it was quite the expensive product for just 50ml. the old one was about the same price but it had 30ml more. the BOJ one, idk why but it just feels greasy on my skin. the finish is pretty but too glowy. it doesn’t feel as heavy as the klairs one but still has that slightly heavy feeling bc of the grease.
I liked the finish of BOJ but it made me break out.
Is this sunscreen SPF verified? I lost trust in most all sunscreens besides altruist and p20.
He already said in his video that there were 3 independent tests…
Does stylevanna take forever to ship? Im in NYC, I ordered a week ago. Someone please answer thanks
@@art_krisis omg ok thanks bc i was freaking out lol
Definitely but I learned something the hard way. If you're looking at a product, take a look under its picture for the "usually ships within X days". That's an indicator of their inventory. I ordered a sunscreen that I didn't see said Ships within 30 days....and it took over 2 weeks to even finish processing my order because they just didn't have it in stock yet. Their customer service was really nice though and explained it to me. So I would take that in to consideration before you finalize your offer if you're concerned about it.
@@Radjehuty thank you that was really helpful
Did you get it? I would like to know if the sunscreen has a protective seal. Thank you!
❤👏
Oh yeah this feels nice but if anything it gives dewy look on the skin but i just use the innisfree no sebum powder to tone down the dewyness of this sunscreen. I definitely want to try the boj sunscreen next! Yeah for me i give it a B+ 🫶🏻
