Marcelo Berestovoy I will check it out. Also can you please do a lesson for paso doble!? Zorro.
Marcelo Berestovoy also one more question, can this style of music be played on acoustic steel string guitar?
Yes!
Great lesson. Working on it and coming back to it again and again develops the scale improv. Very nice.
4:40 Flamenco, not Flamingo! that's a bird.
+Said Abed can u teach us guitar instead of talking bullshits ?
+greatest leader it's not bullshit. If you will respect the guitar and its technique, respect the proper name of the technique.
+Ramon Tristani calm down its just a name
greatest leader I was quoting the fucking guy. Bitch ass.
People just don't really know the art of having conversation anymore... How sad...
Solid technique! Definitely something everyone can learn from.
Your methods of teaching are very helpful I ♡ it ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍🌹🌹🌹🥰🥰🥰🙏🏻

Just met Marcelo and two other great musicians at Cafe Madrid, where they were playing. They were all fantastic. Not only is Marcelo a brilliant guitarist but also a great person! We sat and talked as if we had been friends a long time. I agree with Spangari, his coversations are very entertaining and he can keep you laughing. All three of them made it a very wonderful night for my wife and I. We look forward to seeing them play again !
This is so helpful!! Thank you very much. I'm just beginning to play and I love how easy this is to follow. I can't wait to check out your other videos now.
he looks like a spanish sylvester stallone
He's Argentinian, though -- not Spanish.
He's not Spanish but from South America - I'm going for Argentina or Chile.
That would make him Latin
he does!! Great guy
Adrian!! How u doin!! He is legit.
Excellent teacher !!! Now I know what to do if manager asks for something Spanish :D
Greetings from Serbia!
I love your teaching very much
Wow! Thank you for sharing your secrets with us!
Fantastic lesson which I have got a lot out of. Thanks for posting. Love the style of teaching and the humour :)
Sir u are a good teacher.. I love ur teaching style
I love your lessons, thank you so much.
Lol! Love Mr. Berestovoy, besides teaching flamenco, he's teaching Spanish! "Falmenco, not flamingo. Flamingo is a bird. "
This man is an excellent, excellent teacher and a stellar guitar player.
Thx for the right hand technique of using the "come here" stroke, instead of what I've been doing, the mistaken way that you have pointed out.
Gracias por bueno leccion y salud de Croacia
gracias amigo, hás ajudado mucho mas do que piensas, felicidade
what happened to the last third of the video? It just went blank after 7 minutes.
I believe that's the end of this particular lesson. This is one part of a series of lessons from some website that probably doesn't exist anymore.
I think videos over 10min in length can be more monitized.... 🤷
Thank you, I was looking for a video that I can practice to. This excellent.

Great teacher.
Hi. I tried this out last night. Harder than it looks but I got there. Just wondering something. What is the purpose of the rest stroke with your thumb?
It gives you more volume and a rounder tone to make the bass melody stand out. However, you may notice that when playing faster I switch to free strokes. Contact me on facebook if you'd like more info on my lessons
Marcelo what guitar exactly do you use in the video? I really like the sound / action of it.
Very good Teacher Berestovoy..!
this is exactly what i was searching for. many thanks :)
A great teacher; awesome technique and beautiful tone on the guitar.

LOL
maestro gracias por los vídeos abrazos desde Perú
It's called an E dominant Phrygian scale. It also sounds good if you switch to an E minor harmonic scale with this- gives it further depth.
Hey you are a very good teacher Marcelo I like Spanish Music .
he makes it look so easy.
If UA-cam had been available years ago, I might be able to play by now😄
Great teacher! - THX a lot - - and some of your comments lighten me up: Flamingo is a bird :D

Wow excelente Marcelo!!!!
@MilanPolak given the key. The Phrygian Mode 1st position played in the key of E has no sharps or flats. It is all the same notes as C major as he said.
Love your patient explanations... Very help to set up my rumba rhythm.... Can you tell me if that is a tuner on the body of your guitar and if so who makes it...Cheers continue the great playing!!!...
Are there any more examples of this I only found 1 other video this is exactly what I wanna learn thank you

And your my teacher also.
Greetings to you and keep on doing a Perfect work.
Thank you :-) Glad you enjoyed the lesson and the Flamingo impersonation :-) marceloberestovoy.com/guitar-lessons/
I really need help on times 5:10 - 6:04 . I really don't understand what he meant and also I couldn't see his right hand very well to see what fingers he was picking with. I just need a breakdown of what he said in that span of time. Fantastic video by the way :)
You can download a PDF using the free code on my lesson page. The code will also give you one week access to my live Q&A sessions. marceloberestovoy.com/guitar-lessons/
God, I LOVE the Phyrgian scale! How great does it sound when he plays the first 3 notes of that scale in the form of a Spanish triplet! On another note why is there an almost 5 minutes long gap at the end of this video?
@mrguitarmarcelo Thanks for this great lesson Marcelo, I enjoyed it! One question, I notice that your thumb, when improvising with the scale at a slower scale, you execute all rest strokes, but towards the end of the video, when the tempo has increased, I see you are no longer using rest strokes with your thumb, just free strokes.. so does the tempo dictate what stroke to use? Thanks!
I noticed the same thing, does it matter? Can we use free strokes?
thanx for the vid man
best guitar teacher i i've met om internet!
