In my sewing tutorial I show you how to jazz up a simple round neckline with a pretty button placket. The special thing about this button placket is that it is sewn very tidily on the inside, and you can even work into an already completed shirt at a later time!

Wow...Very useful video. I have to add the button placket on a finished neck of a dress. I thought the dress would be easy for 8 year old to just wear it from the head sliding into the dress, but the neck circumference is 1" short! :-C Now I will have to add some room for her head to slide easily while wearing the dress. Luckily I have not yet added sleeves and the sides of the dress are not yet sewn. I will give it a try keeping fingers crossed and let you know how it works out for me.
