I understand how it feels to be away from gear for a while. I’ll be back home with everything tomorrow. Really digging the distorted tones on this one.
@@lesjamusic probably my deerhorn, honestly. On the trip, I bought two ocarinas and a singing bowl and haven’t been able to really test them out since we’ve been in a hotel, so… the first thing I do might be to try out the new instruments!
@@lesjamusic for sure! I got a Soprano C ocarina and a tenor G ocarina. My thought for my projects, at least initially, was to play them close to my mic and make loops in Coco prior to my recording/jam sessions.
funny how those distorted textures connect with relatively calm vibe of the melodies) very beautiful! I'm in a relatively similar situation now, hiding from the heatwave at my girlfriend's place with aircon, away from all instruments and proper speakers, with just laptop, ipad and seaboard block.
@@lesjamusic I'm always looking for that.. but as you may expect... I use to play on piano or rhodes first (could be also op-1 field in case I'm not in the studio).. and add real time layers with some arrangement over that. Or like my last videos.. just a few modules.. beads, morphagene, just friends, distingex, iPad...

Gives you something to look forward to at the end of your vacation/holiday! What’s the first piece of gear you will turn on?

Please send me some ocarina samples!

You know what though - I bet you come up with some interesting sounds with that paired down setup - sometimes limitation breeds creativity!
@@lesjamusic yes, that’s true, I was lucky to have a beautiful track out of those sessions
magic tones again .. beautiful
I’m enjoying having a “go to” setup at the moment. What’s your default “inspiration” gear?

Very beautiful. Have you tried the new nautilus beta firmware?
Not yet! Have you? What’s your favourite new feature?
@@lesjamusic yes I have, it's absolutely awesome, especially the free running delay and the new eoc reverb ^^
