Question: What's the best practice for charging the battery on these bikes. If i was at 60% one day and wanted to go on a really long ride the next day.. is it ok to charge from 60% to 100%, or is it best to run the battery down further before recharging. I have a stock 60v 40ah battery. I can't find a definitive answer about this, or it's just people arguing about it. I appreciate your feedback
Topping off before a ride is perfectly fine. You just dont want to charge to 100% then leave it for weeks. best stored between 40-80% Also to note.. these cells occasionally need to balance which requires you to charge to 100% and it will kick on and off(charging) at that point to balance the individual cells.
I really appreciate your input. One last question. I am currently at 24% and won't be riding again for about 5 days. Should i leave it at 24% til then or bring the charge up to 80% or?
@@siteslikeadmin1457 nah. 5 days is fine to wait to charge. Just weeks or more would be good to get it there. 👍

Why no handguards? I mean I would roast you for no gear but this is also Utah where you see people riding motos on the freeway with no helmet in flip flops
I have thought about putting hand guards on. I probably should. Those kids that ride around in flip-flops are nuts. 🤣
@@clu801 The Warp 9 ones seem to work well on my Light Bee. Definitely saves my fingers. Also are you running the stock headlight? I found that the beam pattern is pretty bad on it and had to upgrade. If you ever want to go rip a local trail let me know.
