Thank you Cameron for taking an old dude like me on a wonderful outing. Sure does beat the old "cowering in place" that we've all been going through. Please keep 'em coming!
I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and I've been binge watching all day! lol Your genuine enthusiasm for wildlife photography and the code of ethics you hold yourself to when near the animals is a testament to your love, admiration and respect of nature. Keep the videos coming and thank you for sharing your passion with us!!
I just 'discovered' your channel by running across 'this guy' standing in the river near Fairbanks photographing mallards as the ice floats by. That video prompted me to look up your channel, this guy is having fun. I've been busy all day arranging flights and a BNB in Homer to photograph eagles for that holiday weekend, I so enjoy your work.
Wow MAGNIFICENT SHOTS! Most photographers know in this environment it's called spray and pray on shots. Oh My God I would of loved and would be over the moon to have one land that close. Just like the guy said below. Thank you for taking us on your trip.
Hi there Cameron, just subscribed to your great channel:-) I love that you emphasise the realism of wildlife photography and that on the TV it always seems easy! Good background knowledge is key and you know you subject which is great to see:-) I’m a Wildlife Photographer here in the UK and would love to visit your part of the world one day! Totally awesome stuff. All the best and keep doing your thing mate . All the best Richard, UK🙏👍
What an awesome experience that would be to have a magnificent Bald Eagle perch right next to you! While you were explaining the encounter I was imagining myself sitting there talking to it, like I do to various little passerine and waterbirds I photograph. I went on an Alaskan cruise a couple of years ago, managed to get some Bald Eagle shots but as usual on tours the light is never good. Had a fantastic time, got shots of Humpback Whales bubble feeding at Icy Strait Point. I nearly cried in Juneau when on the bus to Mendenhall Glacier and we went past the tidal flood plain, there were at least 50 Bald Eagles perching on various logs in the basin! Need to get back there and see more of that amazing country some day. Been enjoying your videos Cameron, +1 subscriber.
@@cameronroxberry7014you're very welcome mate. It amazes me watching you guys hiking through snow in -10C temps, while at the same time I'm over here sweating it out in 40C temps - I look forward to some snow photography some day but not a big fan of being cold so not sure how I'll go with that.
WOW !!! Awesome photos & videos , So Amazing and Heart touching of God's Amazing Beautiful Birds !!! And WOW!!!! What an Amazing experience for you when He perched right before you !! How amazingly awesome is that !!! Thank you so much for sharing !!! WOW !!! 💓💓💓💓
Wow what an experience to have an eagle land that close. I love Homer! It is such a great place. Looking forward to visiting it again and do more photography there . Very nice job! Thanks for sharing.....
Hello, unforgettable moments for the eagle to have rubbed shoulders with a strange character who does not fly and who wears a cap and in addition who takes photos (lol). Bravo for this beautiful series that all animal photographers and in particular bird photographers would like to do and especially live ... If the eagle has left its coordinates you never know .... But to get it to France it must be expensive ..... Thank you again for this good time. Eric
I was watching the photos/videos of the juvenile thinking, wow, that is close - still imagining a big lens and focusing distance between you. Then the last one of you both together and I'm blown away, you meant very very close! Wow. Awesome!
OMG I feel your excitement ... your images are so amazing!. Thank the junior bald eagle that came and sat with you, that was a gift from the divine . I always believe the animals have a higher sense, a sense we cannot tap into yet!. When he looked you he wanted you to feel his strength and determination, his enery as a BALD Eagle ....the penatrating look was for you to see his gift for you! Completely inspiring!. Cheers 🤍🇨🇦
Taking Bald Eagle images is very exciting. Two years ago I went up to Haines Alaska and took photos of eagles feasting on Salmon from the Chilkat River in November. Hundreds of eagles.
Holy Cameron: what a fabulous video. Bald eagles are one of my fave birds of prey. They are so majestic. Amazing shots. Cannot believe how close that one got to you. What an experience.
Beautiful photographs! Great inspiration for me as a beginner. Love the details of the shots, especially the feather and the eyes of the eagles. Will continue to watch your videos and learn more tips from you and how you capture many beautiful wildlife moments. Keep it up!
Holy crap! Your videos are something else. I'm finding myself looking out for your new videos. I've only ever seen photos of Bald Eagles, looking majestic, sitting on a perch or in an movie next to an american flag. This is the first time I've seen images and video of their behaviour, feeding, and the sub adults. Thanks for sharing this on here. Watching your videos definitely gives me a new perspective on how I want to approach my own photography. There's a spot about 100kms from my house that I drive to for bird photography. I think I'm going to start visiting more often to document the behaviour, once its safe to do so over here.
