A small log cabin, I always like the look of core wood buildings, but I wanted to improve my methods of building with it. I put together this while messing around with core wood and it looked really good, so I thought id share it with everyone. I hope you enjoy the video, and happy new years everyone.
I don't always take the time to watch your videos (because I tend to be a nomad with this game and take breaks) but when I do come back, I always dig your builds. This one is simple, elegant, and very easy. I also appreciate that you consistently build with vanilla jumping instead of dev commands. It helps us all a lot when we don't use those commands ourselves.
And now I know what to put on that Mountain in my private world. Thanks for this! Also you showed off some cool tricks when making the sides and supports for the roof I didn’t know about so this is awesome!
I'm back at least For a little while, I missed making builds so Iv been putting some together, I'm planning on playing a new survival game that is coming out this month, so ile most likely be making builds on that when I get it
aiming lower and higher on the block can change the snap points letting you place it lower, also if you have trouble with it still use the "E" key to cycle through different snapping points.
yeah, its more than possible. the stone floor and tar roof are just there for visuals. the building isnt large enough to have any structural problems if made from wood

Thanks for the video.
How did you manage to make those snap points for the 2nd floor walls cause mine has always a little gap no matter how i make it
The logs have a snap point both above and below. if I remember this build correctly, then thats the answer.
Sorry if this sounds like a noob comment but how did you drop the stone trim down so they are level with the floor tiles?

Can you build this only using wood?
