Wait......what??? The guy hired to fill in for Peter Cetera is being billed as Chicago's Long time Lead Singer?? More like hired gun. And there's nothing wrong with that. Just be upfront with Chicago fans. He's got a good voice, I'll give him that.
Venues generally have a license from ASCAP or something similar that allows them to play any recorded song. The songwriters get paid from ASCAP. I play in a cover band and that's how we are able to play the cover songs.
Thats a cool bit of info I didn't know I needed lol. My buddy is a member of some music thing and is able to download studio quality drumless tracks to play along with., where I'm stuck with poorly ripped or karaoke versions. @@keithreding1828
Thank you for sharing this information! It's reassuring to know that songwriters are being compensated for their work and that cover bands like yours can continue to entertain us with their music.
Great singer... loved Chicago
Thanks a ton! Chicago has a special place in my heart.
Peter Cetera is the real voice of Chicago.
Absolutely, Peter Cetera's voice is iconic!
Get over it.
WDF is Jason Shit? Pete is the dude, no one else, besides Terry. This is insulting.
Chicago is Chicago
bite me.@@magna116

Maybe they should have a "Lead Singer for Hire" sign on stage just to keep it clear!
They didn't say "original lead singer."
"Long-time" is accurate.
Much longer than Cetera even.
Although Cetera cannot be replaced or even imitated.
Played this stage summer '09....in a Tom Petty Tribute. These guys sound Great!
Sounds like a blast from the past! Did you feel like a rockstar on stage or were you more of a laid-back performer?
Leonid & Friends even better.
Leonid & Friends are like fine wine, they keep getting better with age!
I cannot disagree. Still not the same, tho.
I wonder how they work it out so he can sing Chicago songs?...($$)

Great question!
No No No No No!!! Sacrilege.
Five "No's" in a row! You definitely have a strong opinion on this one.
Yes, I do. The originals are the band, not a bunch of fill ins. Period.@@havefuneverydaynow
