    I own WENZA LE and have driven more than 12,000 miles. It feels more comfortable and quieter than RAV4. The average fuel consumption is 41.5MPG. I am very satisfied.Thank you for your evaluation and gave me a very important purchase reference!

    I get that a lot of reviewers don’t like the touch sensitive controls and lack of radio volume and tuning knobs, but in my Camry I literally never use the knobs. I use the steering wheel buttons. It definitely would not be a dealbreaker.

    Thank you Sofyan for a two great reviews on the 2021 Toyota venza tgis one and the other one where you compare it with the lexus 300h . Both of your reviews reviews on the toyota venza made my choice to get one alot easier . I got the blueprint one in the limited trim . And I absolutely love everything about it . I will have to say you are one of the best car reviewers out there and Redline is very lucky to have you . I truly enjoy all your reviews on all the cars you do not just the venza . When it comes to reviewers you are very informative and very knowledgeable with all the vehicles. I hope that sounded OK.

    Just purchased the 2021 Venza with 54k miles on it. Decided to jump on the hybrid hype to see if it's what the reviewers rave about are true. Still going through my first tank of gas and I commute 90 miles each way to work. Then have a little errands to do around town for the wife.
    Im terms of comfort and raod behavior it's a ten. Beautiful ride for long commutes as it just soaks up the bumps and road imperfections.
    Steering is tight without a lot kf movement within the lane. Doesn't wander while cruising with the lane assist and semi autonomous driving mode. Around town it's loose and easy to steer.
    Brakes are fine. Easy enough to learn.
    I'll report back with the final mpg when my half a tank runs dry.

    • @rxonmymind8362
      @rxonmymind8362 7 місяців тому

      I'm back.
      Went through two tanks of gas already and this last one came out to 42 mpg on ECO mode. Fulled up at Costco 9 gallons to the tune of $35 and some change total miles was 380.
      Got me wondering about it's discontinuation and why. I see the Chevy Equinox, Ford Escape and other smaller suv out and maybe part of the reason Toyota wanted to go with the Crown was to differentiate itself styling wise from thst crowded vehicle market? Also maybe it was nipping at the NX heels. But Lexus has a habit of stealing everything from Toyota and make it more posh leaving nothing else for Toyota except the Highlander and Rav4. Even there Lexus has cannibalized Toyota.
      Toyota needs something other than two suv's without Lexus stealing from them.

  • @1lecher
    @1lecher 2 роки тому +4

    I've had the 2022 Venza XLE for 2 months now and I'm loving it. On my shortlist, I had Venza, Rav4 Hybrid, Tucson Hybrid and CX-5. I ultimately went with the Venza partly due to immediate availability compared to Rav4 Hybrid.
    Great MPG, pretty good acceleration, quite comfortable. The only gripe I have is with interior storage, not plenty of it. The price is a bit high, but I definitely think it's worth it. No buyers remorse

    Everyone should wait for the next version of this. They'll add stuff like fog lights and knobs in their climate control. You can tell they plan to add these features bc the fog lights placement for example are there but there's no lights they need a reason for you to buy their latest model

      It's a Toyota, it's an SUV, and it's a hybrid, so it'll most likely sell for above MSRP and that's if you can find one without putting a deposit in for a months-long waitlist. In my area, the lowest finance rate on the RAV4 Hybrid rn is 4.99%, no cash incentives and an overall lack of inventory. I wouldn't be surprised if the Limited models actually sell for 47k in the first few months.

    I test-drove a Lexus 300h hybrid a year ago. Once I hit the road, it was so silent, UNTIL I hit the gas pedal, and then the engine ROARED into life with nauseating noise. I got so turned off. SO: when I am in the market for a new car in 2021 (likely a 2022 model) it will be an EV and NOT A HYBRID. We own a 2018 Tesla Model 3, and it takes off like a rocket in dead silence..incredible! At age 70 I am delighted to have driven such an EV in my lifetime! :) Oh, and FYI: a leading Auto Lease company is advising against buying a Plug-In Hybrid as they are *not* as economical as they claim.
    Addendum: Test drove a Venza yesterday. Engine roar during acceleration, along with kind of sluggish pickup, was typical of a hybrid. But what really turned me off was: at 70 mph the WIND NOISE was bad. And the car swayed in the wind like a boat in choppy water! We returned the car to the dealer and left. Duh.

    A cut-price Lexus... its based on the RAV4 platform and mechanicals. Seems like the Camry vs the more upmarket Avalon. Styling of the Venza *aka Harrier in the JDM* is elegant, where the RAV4 is more butch. That opaque pano roof is AWESOMENESS. Thanks for the upload! Well-done as always 😎

  • @wpgtriniman
    @wpgtriniman 4 роки тому +3

    Lovely design but here are some concerns.
    1. It's larger than a RAV4 but has less cargo room than on the inside. Three inches shorter than the old Venza. It's billed as being bigger than the RAV4 but smaller than the Highlander. They should increase the wheelbase to give more backseat/ cargo room.
    2. Less headroom than a RAV4, and even less with the sunroof. Make it taller.
    3. Would prefer a moonroof (opens to the elements) than a sunroof with the glass that frosts on/ off. The frosting would be cooler if it darkened, rather than just frosted. Combine a moonroof with darkened frosting and you have a winner.
    4. Lower the infotainment system and integrate it into the dashboard instead of the stuck-on tablet style.
    5. No volume knob on the larger 12.3” screen. Huge mistake, just ask Honda.
    6. Shiny black plastic is just a fingerprint magnet. Use something else that won't show prints and get easily scratched up.
    7. The rear turn signal lights are integrated into the bumper and are **too** low.
    8. Offer it as a plug-in hybrid. Supposedly, they were waiting to see how the RAV4 Prime would sell and it's poised to be hugely successful as a PHEV.
    9. Don't like the touch-sensitive controls in the dashboard.
    10. Climate controls change the temperature 1 degree each time you press, unless you press and hold. Use knobs instead; they're faster.
    11. With tax, it would be close to $60K in Canada.

    I've owned a 2009 Venza, loved it v6 20" wheels sexy looking vehicle, bought a 2015 absolutely loved it. Now i lease a 2018 Camry xse v6 even more fun, but for the great features it has shortcomings, like no heated steering wheel (canadian) infotain system a joke, no memory seats, Venza did, almost didn't buy the car on that one ( i"m big and seat retracts automatic) Has more than enough power, just doesn't sound like it. Don't even start on the TRD SE, not an XSE. not even close. Thinking about upgrading to Lexus, but they need to start upgrading and so i wait and see what's coming maybe next year a xse Venza maybe. In the mean time having blast driving my 2018 xse use the paddles all the time. Infotain system is being replaced with upgraded Android Auto, so maybe i'll just buy it out and install that fancy cat back exhaust. Then it will sound as fast as it is. Oh and by the way I'm sixty and never even notice Soyfan is gay, short yes, jealous of the ultimate job , you bet. Keep up the good reviews Soyfan.

    Toyota needs to add the Fog Lights to the holes in the lower fascia just like the Rav 4 and Highlander. Even the Corolla Hatchback comes with Fog Lights. Major disappointment since the Venza is touted to be the "Lexus Upgrade Version of the RAV 4. I'd like to buy a 2022 if they add the Fog Lights that should have been included on the 2021 model.
