- Throughout his 40-year career, Keanu Reeves has pushed the limits of what kinds of action an actor can do on-screen. Keanu’s breakthroughs into action movies were “Point Break” (1991) and “Speed” (1994). In the groundbreaking “The Matrix” (1999) and its sequel “The Matrix Reloaded,” he performed impressive martial-arts moves and wire fu.
In “The Matrix Resurrections” (2021), he jumped off a 550-foot skyscraper to pull off the perfect shot. With “John Wick” (2014) and its sequels, Keanu and the stunt team pushed the envelope physically as far as possible. In “John Wick: Chapter 2” (2017), Keanu immersed himself in judo and jujitsu while stunt-driving for parts of the film’s memorable opening scene.
In “John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum” (2019), he learned trick horse riding and participated in a motorcycle sword fight with clever visual effects. In “John Wick: Chapter 4” (2023), Keanu participated in the franchise’s most ambitious action scene yet, which required him to learn how to do a reverse 180 in a muscle car and then do hand-to-hand combat between speeding cars.

Keanu Reeves is a man of focus, commitment and sheer will.
Although Keanu has never been distinguished by a subtle acting game, he still managed to make himself an excellent career thanks to his hard work and genuine charm.
I think he is actually a good actor. Most people don't see those movies though.

I feel the need to say, the Hugo Weavings weren't dighital, they were over 20 stuntmen with silicon masks that replicated Hugo's face. Apparently it was both creepy and terrifying. But it took the makeup department a lot of work to get it right, so I couldn't help myself. Great video.

The only thing Matrix 4 did was make sure the Matrix 3 was not the worst one.
Matrix got the Star Wars treatment. The new releases make you appreciate the previous iterations. All that Prequel hate went out the window once we new ones released

@@laneatkinson6441 Second one was ok, built upon the first with more action, lore, and story. But it sets up a story that cannot be completed without the 3rd movie. You have to watch both.
Now about the story for 2+3, there's too many things going on for people to digest, and there's a few plot holes and disappointments. The meanings, symbolism, of many places and people were not fully apparent until I read the wiki. A lot more made sense after going there 😅.
About the 4th, the director sisters were kinda forced into making one and it showed. It's written to be a bit of an FU to Warner Brothers (but not necessarily a sabotage effort). I thought it was ok, because I was aware of the disappointment, and just had fun watching. There's new characters, themes, revelations, etc. Don't take it too seriously.
Keanu reeves and tom cruise... The last Action Superstars of this generation.. Dont know who will carry forward their legacy

Yeah, the reason given here makes little sense. I have to admit after treating thousands of patients after a vehicle crash dislocated thumbs are rare. Fractured and broken hips are another story from people bracing for impact.

Not unless your abdominal muscles are made of steel and your center of gravity is near perfect. Wire work is some of the hardest work there isn't. It's actually harder than doing it without wires. Because the wires are constantly trying to center you in an unnatural position, when you're trying to flip unnaturally.

This thing is a device by Keanu to not notice too much, for example, that he is hit at 35 mph by at least six cars and does not even experience an itchy knee 😂

Still can’t surpass the levels of Tom Cruise’s stunt works. Tom has gone to many extreme levels that he did them himself.
He's awesome. But that nunchucks scene to me just didn't look or feel quite right while I was watching part 4.just seemed very clumsy and slow looking.
Matrix should have chapter 5, but keanu's condition now is not suitable to play any movie role,not even Constantine,he is unsteady
