34:00-34:29 I wonder if the stock/street package Evo 9 sounds from PS2/Wii/GCN version of NFS Carbon would be ported in '99 Eclipse GS-T on the next NFS Carbon REDUX 2024 updates, which replaces the V6 sounds used in Vanilla versions and used only in Stock/Street Packages, whereas the Pro Packages for '99 2G Eclipse GS-T's uses Stock Evo 9 sounds from NFSC on PS2/Wii/GCN.
Just because it uses the TVR, that doesn't mean it's necessarily wrong. It IS pretty close... if you're comparing it to the interior sound. It's a bit more brash on the outside.
@@FarmYardGaming honestly this car in both games comes nothing close to the real car the only close it ever comes to sounding like the real car is that it sounds like the bmw m3 gtr at low rpms but other than that highly inaccurate sound it would be like taking any ferrari engine sound and saying "it sounds accurate to the bmw m3 gtr" when it does not the p60b40 is a special engine and literally no one can replicate its sound
@@ManLikeEddy I've heard that GTR2 did a decent job at a time, but I can agree with that. Heat's GTR sounded awesome, but it also sounded like a flat-plane V8.
20:00 The stock Aston sounds just like in Most Wanted in the PS2 Version of Carbon. PC and PS3 Version of Carbon have a quite different sound for the stock Aston. I like both of them though :)
These sounds also are in the Wii version, which was the version I played the most, so it was a huge surprise for me that other versions have different sound files
It makes me laugh how many of the engine sounds are recycled in other cars. For example, the Zonda F, Audi Lemans and the LP640 have the same engine sound.

You mean overrated in game performance right? Because regardless of how unrealistic it is,it will be at the top tier and there is a fair reason for it. It's like Goku for anime and Spider Man for comics, they're not the strongest of all time, but they are given great value over others.
They're disabled in the ps2 version for some reason but it can be found in the game files but playable via cheat devices... some of them has slightly glitches

44:01 always love that engine sound specially the pipe sound
That M3 GTR Sound Is Accurate In PS2 Version And Uses The MW Sound
Still more accurate like irl counterpart
Both games' aren't really accurate, the engine sound actually belongs to a TVR Cerbera, not a BMW M3 GTR
