To stop the rattling, could you use two of those hood adjustable rubber bump stops. Install and adjust up until it takes out the play

Possibly. I've been messing with the stock ones, but I haven't spent a ton of time on it. It's not necessarily a rattle, more like a squeak. I think it's just due to the nature of using a spring loaded socket mechanism.

Great tutorial on the Quick Latch hood latches. Thats definitely thr brand i would go with. Is it one standard size for the hood, or are there different sizes? Great video bro!!
