I've only learned that I really hate the "th" sound
Benjamin Halilovic well I'm American so I speak fluent American english. So I speak with the th on a daily basis.
I love th sound. It makes English more interesting. That makes the sounds distinct between d and th as in day and they. T and th Tin and thin.
So have I
Benjamin Halilovic Oh, look at me, I'm so lazy that I cannot speak properly.
Its not even hard smh
his shirt is brighter than my future.
+MHT JABER amazing comment 😆😆
4 years ago lol
It’s the fifth year since this comment! YaY! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
I'm German and untill this day I haven't been able to do the right "th" sound. You changed that. Thanks a lot!
OMG It's so difficult pronounce the "TH"
just practice with yourself
Have you mastered it yet? Lol
Thirty thousand thoughtless boys thought they thought a thought they thought that they never thought at all.
I am reading the comments in high voice to train my pronounciation, but I will skip that hahaha
F u.
And thank you😂
they thought it through, though
I can do it
Haha lol I'm reading now
Dude you are amazing and you make me love english even more than i used to love it.

+Gobezay Hagos thank you for watching! 🤘😁
how am I supposed to concentrate on the lesson having to stare at those eyes?? :o
hahaha, great lesson!
same here mate...
I spent the whole lesson staring into his beautiful eyes
***** alguém fazendo um comentário homo aleatório numa lição de inglês, tinha de ser brasileiro mesmo, não é? kkk.
***** nem me fale. TH já é monstro domado para mim há anos. mas sou fã do canal dos caras, especialmente porque venho tentando aprender um sotaque londrino estuário e a voz desse cara é linda demais; sotaque charmoso as fuck. e esses olhos maravilhosos são a cereja do bolo, né, hahaha.
***** kk, mesma coisa. mas não quero me desfazer do meu sotaque americano. só desenvolver um segundo sotaque britânico confortável. vou dar uma olhada no livro depois, valeu!

I think this is one of my favorite sounds in English, both voiced and unvoiced! It is really challenging and you inspire me to do it well!!
Seriously, you deserve a prize as the best teacher ever!!
I speak Spanish and this is one of the sound more difficult to do. Thanks for the tips!
Zelda Loarca No it's not. Spanish has both sounds
🌟 "Thanks English." Lol! The best teacher ever! Greetings from Brazil mate! 🇧🇷
I’ve spoken English my entire life...still can’t pronounce any word with “th”
Where are you from?
@@vm_c137 does that really matter? I'm in a similar situation although the only word i still have trouble with is truth. I'm romanian and I've been speaking English online around natives since i was 6-7, but only recently have i realized how bad my pronounciation is.
I can prounonce many words with "th" but I have some serious issues with the words teeth, thought, especially teeth, I swear I can't pronounce them correctly
I'm thai and I've been trying to pronounce the TH for a long time! ohh thank you so much.
+som maylada whoop!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎉🎉🎉🎈🎈
Guys, I love watching your videos!!! It's a true lesson but so funny, and this makes it far easier to learn, thank you so much!!
+Elen Tavaril cheers Elen!
i'm arabic so it's soo easy for me to pronounce TH in its two versions :) i don't know why i'm proud of that but it's good to feel like that
+noor directioner you're one of the lucky few 😁👍🏻
Arabic is a very rich language .. That's why Arabs don't usually have any problem learning a new language !!:)
same here 😂😂😂
Kahina Harrache Indeed. But most Arabic dialects only have 3-5 vowel sounds so learning the various vowels of languages like English which has around 20 (!) is pretty hard. And 'p' and 'v'.
I'm an arab too but it's a problem for me 💔💔
Even as a native English speaker, I struggle when I try to just make a "TH" sound without saying a whole word... :P
Me to lmao
As a native English speaker, do you think native speakers even care about how English learners pronounce the TH sound?
I get the sound right, but sometimes when I speak English I feel like I am pronouncing the "TH" as a D.
Have a good day.
@@jardelb. some words like "this" I hear more often said as "dis"
@@alejrandom6592 Wait, so "this" isn't supposed to sound like that? XD
@@quaron9410 well that I hear like this: "that" but this is more like the "dis", but you know, there is that, so the "this" can be this or that, no problem :)
You are really the best teacher that I have ever seen! Be blessed.
You are my new favorite teacher 👌
+Catherine Erasga this is my new favourite comment 🤘😁
Man, even after 10+ years of knowing English I still say "tree" instead of "three" and "true" instead of "through" ㅠ___ㅠ
jhmn123 Why?
jhmn123 I say free
@@juliachro me too :'D
So do the irish
I say reeee instead of three
OMG I laughed a lot! You are a great actor, Aly! Very funny way to explain it... Thank you

ث and ذ(؟)
yes
i'm arabic and it's super easy i don't even know why i'm watching this video but it's so good
It's ok buddy!
we still have to practice
p & b sounds !! 😉
The 'Thaa' and 'Dhaal' letters!
Hi, thank you for this wonderful video. As an idea for your future video, that would be great if you can dedicate a video to TH sound with difficult letter before the TH, for instance "oF THings", saying "things" alone is easy thanks to you, but going from "v" sound of "of", then "th" of "thing" is tricky. So the difficulty is not to correctly pronounce the TH, but the transition there is between some letter followed by TH because of the position of the tongue, jaw and lips from the last letter before the TH. Another tricky transition is "T" before "TH" for instance "SweeT THings" or "ThaT THing", maybe because of the pressure of the T on the palate.
"F" doesn't connect with "th", just pronounce "f" and then "th" seperately. As for the "t", that sound barely resonates when it comes before "th", just say "swee thing" and it will be fine.
Hello Sir, I love the way you teach the lessons. You are the best teacher.
The best video explanation I've seen in 10 years of teaching English. Thanks a ton, now I know what to share with my guys
It was perfect!😂 thank you very much!
+София Гусейнова cheers! 😁✋🏻
My russian friend pronounces "TH" as "F"
Me too
so instead of a thought, he fought every time he is using this word lol
If she was German, she would say 'sought'. xD
blumort I do that to but I’m polish
Polish people too ;p and some of us pronounce "free" instead of "three".
i think you're great!!! the way how you teach is just amazing!! i get more and more interested on your videos!! thankss
I love your english lesson videos. They are so funny I improve my english skill and have fun. Thank you Papa from Venezuela.
In Greek we use BOTH versions of TH!!!!
theta and delta.
+Κλελια Νικολακακη Arabic too, I'm glad we do
Κλελια Νικολακακη z and d in Spanish... It's actually kind of complicated in Spanish.
Guido Duh The 'd' in Spanish is actually different. But it is close enough.
I am greek too 😙😙😙
I have troubles pronouncing words which have an 'r' following the 'th' sound :(
+Jack like throw, three, etc..?
yes :(
Start by saying the th sound. Then pause. Then say the r sound. Then pause. Then say the th sound again. Keep repeating, making the pause shorter and shorter. :)
@@RasoulXD Just be sure never to roll 'r'. :)
@@heinrich.hitzinger Doing that makes me sound Scottish :D
Mate, your methods, drawings and video's editing are awesome! Tks for your classes. cheers.
Such an excellent teacher.
Hm, what a coincidence, I already have a straw in my mouth....
+iliketacos woohoo!
What's hard for me is to pronounce the the S when it comes after the TH like “wiTH Somebody”.
You are the best english teacher, you made me fall in love with the british accent 💖 thank you so much :)
I need a longer lesson for this "TH" sound. Please, Papa make a longer lesson, PLEASE! It's soo hard! :(
I think English should have its own alphabet
Concordo
It should have sth like þ and đ...
Does anyone know an awesome series like this one, but with German instead? :D
No

My native language is English and I can't pronounce the "th" sound at the end of words (like "Earth"). It always comes out as an "f" sound.
shelbean Just practise
I can pronounce earth. Is this a new phenomenom in England?
@@areez22 Yup.
@@heinrich.hitzinger It doesn't sound like a good development.
'th' sound is the most difficult pronunciation to me but your lesson heped me alot. I will try this over and over again. Thank you!

These are amazing tips, I'll practice with them from now on!
What I like most about it is your accent, pretty nice dude !!!!
is it british if you pronounce th to /f/ or /v/, cause i hear someone when he says birthday, sounds like birfday
Yeah, that's a feature of some British accents. You won't hear that elsewhere.
Yilei Liang It's a feature the London region but actually it's now become a very common habit all over Britain. It's wrong but lots of people do it nowadays. I hate it.
@@boggybogallow Cockney accent...
Usually lowly educated and people of lower social standing.
lol, arabic has both sounds in two different letters,
ذ : like in the
ث : like in theta
haha, i'm aware my dear friend. i was just saying that it does have both sounds, is it a lie ?
Isaac Jefferson yeah right I think learning accents is very easy to us.since we can pronounce almost all sounds
mira marie almost. but not all. our alphabet lacks the sounds of P and V. Other sounds from other languages too.
Isaac Jefferson yeah but it's not that hard for us to learn them
mira marie agreed. Ironically however, because of the existence of all those sounds in our language, most of us talk in a very thick Arabic accent xD
had so much fun watching this video. You're brilliant :) and yes loads of knowledge as always.
+Malen May thanks malen! :)
