Currently completing an Associates Degree in Hospitality Management but have been working in the Marketing field for 2 years with tons of experience. I have an interview for my second job today but I'm scared I won't be a good fit even though I am qualified for a 20 year...do you think my age and lack of education will waver their choice?😖
People say that we tend to underqualify ourselves. So for sure there are those factors which I have no professional input but definitely don’t doubt yourself, confidence is so important and it’ll show that whatever it is you’re lacking you are ready and willing to catch up and make up for it. I completely agree with Valerie I feel some times being young and have little experience can weigh into a decision from a employer stand point, however if you can express that you are eager and are ready to learn than depending the position the company will most likely be open to hiring you if you are the right fit ☺️ hope all went well with the interview!!
Hi girl !! I just discovered your channel and saw that you are in digital marketing. I graduated 3 years ago with a degree in marketing and worked 2 year after that in business development ( so nothing to do with marketing cz it was the only place that accepted me at that time and it was also the company where I was an intern as a student). After 1 year I quit cz I hated it I wanted to find a job in digital marketing but no one would take me because I have NO experience and it’s true ... I know all the terms and I have the degree and I did all the certification google ad Facebook blueprint ... ect but i never did it in real life in a job so I am insecure about it 🥺 do you have any advice ? Can you show us what you REALLY do like daily tasks on the laptop please ? I am so lost 😔
Hi Mia! I feel ya girl I totally understand being in the stage of having your degree but no experience. However I do fee like you can use the internship you have a word in a way that would be geared to a marketing perspective. You would be surprised at how many people get hired for marketing positions that have little experience in the digital marketing field but are ambitious and show that they are eager to learn. As for my job, I can't show what's on my computer because I work for a private company, and we are not allowed to share that information. Best of luck 🎉
