I love how you put vignettes together in your home. The way you style your cabinets inside and out and all the attention to detail I am just so inspired by you
Your little corner looks so warm and inviting! You probably already know but Museum Wax can help hold down your precious items when kitty is feeling playful. 😊
Oh my gosh Yvonne!! I never heard of You Tube for cats but here we are, my husband and I watching it with our 2 cats, Scoobie and Frankie!! Thanks for sharing your day!!
Chris need’s a cover for for his tractor 🚜 to keep him out of the snow and wind. I was going to tell you about rapping your tree when I I heard you say shrink wrap. That’s what my husband and I do, but we use cheap cling wrap and we go section by section. It protect the bulbs and the branches. I made a pot of chili last week using the McCormicks mix and it was an epic fail! 😂 A late friend of our’s used to make the best chili there is no way that we can copy it and his wife can’t remember how he used to it☹️!!!!
Yvonne, you have such a great eye for decorating. Everything looks beautiful. Yes, the things we do for our fur babies, but like you said, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Tater and Peaches are so adorable. 😻
WE live in the Rocky Mountains and are waiting for our Coyote tractor with a enclosed heated and AC'ed cab to be delivered! Can not wait for my honey to have that luxury.
I have to admit that Christmas tree is nice looking n in fact it looked so real. My favorite is a Dougles Fir n yours looked like one. I think you said you got it off of Amazon. I just love how you decorate. It feels so homey especially when you get to admire your Ironstone n your crocks. It all blends together so beautifully. That was so cute watching Peaches drinking her nice cool water from a glass. Yes, we definitely spoil them n why not there family. It always make my day when I can wake up n see Yvonne has a new video. Rather it’s Ginger Chick or the Journey it just makes me happy n makes my day. You’ve got a special man ( I’m sure you know that) that has the patience of Job to hang all your things perfectly n doesn’t mind that you change your mind. By the way , I like that corner where you put the cabinet n all accessories, chair fits perfect there. Stay warm my friends. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟👏😺😺
I just can't get enough of this decor style!!!! I absolutely LOVE the changes to the Livingroom!!! I have been keeping my eye out for ironstone, crocks, and rusty crusties on the cheap to start decorating my home with. It is definitely a process though checking GoodWill and other thrift stores. Hopefully one day I will come across some pieces to decorate with. Until then I very much appreciate all that you share!
I always get sad when I take my Christmas down and I always leave it up until after the 1st of the year. It's interesting to see how other people put things up.
Snowed here all day Monday and during the night it turned to freezing rain, so Tuesday everything was covered in ice.. and it still is! We've got icicles bigger than my arms hanging from my porch😄 I'm ready for it to go away now🫤 We're the same, once the tree comes on it stays on till it comes down. I use the McCormicks chili mix with one can of italian stewed tomatoes and one can of rotel. The Chili packet is already spicy but i still add a little chili powder. I use a can of tomato sauce and a little water If needed for the soupyness(?) Need to try the V8! Love All the cabinets and spaces, they look beautiful! I think the one with all the clocks and scales is my favorite. I love the wood pieces on the buffet. I love the mantle clocks, i have one just like the first one you showed and i have 2 others. I just love everything, you have so many awesome collections, and you've styled everything so perfectly!!! (I also have a very spoiled kitty😉😊)
Very fun to see you take down Christmas decor and redo your hutches, etc. I have a white bottle holder that I could paint black. And then hang my little white pitchers on it like you did. Thanks for the idea!
I love Chris’s beard it looks just like my light has been spared and it hadn’t been but three years and I thought of it immediately soon as I saw him growing it out that it looked just like Troy
You have such beautiful collections! And a beautiful home and property! Chris is such a great helper! I have one of those too-never complains about my “ideas” and moving things around. Thank you for sharing!
I really enjoyed seeing all your collections on display. Our cats get in places so high up we can't imagine how they got there or how to get them down safely.
my hubby and i always say “we live to serve our fur kids” i just love ur decor and ur white swans is why i went on the hunt and finally found some BUT THAT BLACK SWAN IS EVERYTHING and i’m not even gonna attempt to find something like that. love ur videos and how chris and u work together. ❤❤
Your porr windmill!! I guess that will be a good spring thaw project! My husband removed snow at an airport for 23 years. I asked him recently if he missed it. Nope! He said he only missed the overtime paycheck. I'm glad you made Chili! It is the perfect snow day meal. I have used these seasoning packets all my married life, 41 years. I love the way you moved the decor around! I was so glad there was room for the chair. Chris seems to be so patient! Y'all make the best DIY and redo team!
I put my Christmas stuff away the other day and I also had to rearrange the furniture different than I've had before Christmas. With the tree gone it seemed so empty. Love your end result.
Not quite as fun taking Christmas back down (absolutely, always one ornament is left to find), but then fun to redecorate the house. Glad Chris has his plow!
My son actually started taking our tree down this year lol It wasn't even New Years yet... he just felt like packing it up. So my husband helped him and it was all cleaned up pretty fast. They're the ones that put up the tree too.
Watching that makes me soooo cold! It's only like 50-60 here in Northern California but it's been really rainy and overcast. So it feels so gloomy. I don't know if I could handle snow like that. As I've gotten older I just don't tolerate extreme temps as well. Snow is pretty, but from like, over there haha
Hello Yvonne. I think we all go through the same thing when we put our Christmas decor away. The house is a mess and the rooms look empty; but then we clean and rearrange furniture. Then we are ready to decorate. I have used McCormick’s chili mix for years. It is my family’s most favorite way to make chili. Just the right amount of spice, but not overboard. I couldn’t get over how much snow you all were getting. Our area’s weather report for tonight is snow and freezing rain. Oh well, it is winter. Great video. Thank you so much for sharing. Take care and God bless. Sincerely, Diane from Missouri 😊❤
Love watching the cats I think they are a little spoiled when are you going toj show us the bedrooms and bathoms would love be to see how you decorate the rest of your home thank you for sharing..
I enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful decor you have in your collection. You have such a nice pieces. And I love that you share your fur babies with us: happy New Year, Mrs. Yvaughn!
We always enjoy fire roasted tomatoes in our chili also! Then add a drop of sour cream, some shredded cheddar cheese & frito's or tortilla chips! So yummy!! It does always seems so bare when we put away Christmas decor!!
I hear the sleet coming down. We have been cold and the icy wind cut through ya. We are warming back up but we wanted to have snow as we seldom get it now. That’s how I made my chili but the V8 juice. I waited to long I thought but hey you do what you do. I love watching you decorate and explain your train of thought. I always hate taking down Christmas.😊❤
Everything looks beautiful. I always enjoy my Christmas decor, but after having it up for 6 weeks, I want my house back in order!! I collected various size clock faces and decorated a hallway wall, placing the faces at random heights and then added some rusty, crusty 3" numbers to fill in spaces between the faces. The cabinet in the corner looks great, a nice focal point as you enter the room.😊
It's always a little sad taking down the Christmas decor. Our tree is the only light we use in the living room, it's just perfect. The cat watching tv was too darn cute.
It was interesting seeing your outdoor snow situation. We recently had more than a foot of snow and sub-zero temperatures in Illinois. So, I completely understand staying in and not venturing out! Nice to see your refresh and adorable kitties!! Stay safe and warm 🥶
😂😂😂love the kitties so cute. Great to see all your gorgeous decor being used to decorate your home after Christmas clean up . I love redecorating my home after all the bling of Christmas has been put away. Love all your ironstone and your beautiful furniture.Happy redecorating love from Ireland ☘️💚
One of my ginger kittens Indiana Jones( he's an explorer, hence the name) loved watching you take down the tree. We had to take our tree down earlier due to he & his brother climbing & knocking down the ornaments. The snow is beautiful, but am glad we don't get it in Florida.
I adore how you have used your collection in your decor! And of course I always like seeing the kitties…especially little Tater…. I need to try that UA-cam channel for my kitties too!
I love this. I am in Australia in the middle of a “heat wave”, 🥵🥵🥵an annual event here. Omg, all of that snow ❄️ So lovely to see. Thank you for sharing 💖💖💖❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Ours turned out amazing.. hopefully you can keep tweaking🤗
Love the reset ! Chris clearly adores you and loves the home you make! ❤
Love All the vintage Santa’s ❤..I’d still wrap em up lol❤
Yvonne, you have such a great eye for decorating. Everything looks beautiful. Yes, the things we do for our fur babies, but like you said, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Tater and Peaches are so adorable. 😻
It's always nice to decorate with Christmas decor, but equally nice to take it down.
I love all of your decorations and the way you arrange things. I don’t know where you get all of your energy to do all the work you do.
Gosh that looks so cold in the beginning of this video. We are in the midst of a tropical heat wave - such a big planet we live on!
WE live in the Rocky Mountains and are waiting for our Coyote tractor with a enclosed heated and AC'ed cab to be delivered! Can not wait for my honey to have that luxury.

Lucky you. Benzonia Michigan got 13”!
Oh.. that’s a bit much🥶
Our kitty only ever drank out of someone’s water glass lol. Love seeing your fun fur babies
I love everything! It’s so very beautiful! I’m in love with rusty crusty myself!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I think your black swan would look nice on the bench.
I’m afraid he’d get knocked off with the cats
I always hate turning the lights off the last time. We have the snow and wind and ice down here in Tennessee too. Stay warm.
Oh.. is that normal for you.. I bet you may not have been happy about that. Or maybe you were 🤗
Don't mind the snow but the 0-5 temps can stay in Alaska.@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney
You have a lot of stuff in those cupboards, but to each his own. As long as you enjoy them. ❤
Yvonne thank you for showing us around your lovely home . And seeing your cute furbabys
Go Lions! What a great game. So proud to be a Lions Fan
Very fun to see you take down Christmas decor and redo your hutches, etc. I have a white bottle holder that I could paint black. And then hang my little white pitchers on it like you did. Thanks for the idea!
Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelling furniture. ;) what a champion! The corner looks great.
Yavoon, you could make a sweet cat bed near the windows in the laundry room.
I love Chris’s beard it looks just like my light has been spared and it hadn’t been but three years and I thought of it immediately soon as I saw him growing it out that it looked just like Troy
Love your decorating. I do the same thing.. when the Christmas stuff comes down, furniture and accessories relocate. Lol
I so enjoy both of your channels. Thank you for sharing your lives and creativity. 🤗
Oh Yvonne….everything just looks amazing.
You have such beautiful collections! And a beautiful home and property! Chris is such a great helper! I have one of those too-never complains about my “ideas” and moving things around. Thank you for sharing!
Everything looks so nice and new year fresh! ❤
Your cats are the best!
And every cat is 'spoiled' because they rule!... 😊
The view outside is beautiful! Looks extremely cold!!! ❤
Oh my gosh Chris is such a great guy. He is so helpful!!!
I'm always sad to see the lights and sparkles leave, but as you said, it's time.
Ya'lls new place is gorgeous. You can see forever with the snow. Tater is so cute. Peaches too. I'm slowly taking my stuff down as well. Thanks
Love the vintage Santa's. I don't have as many as you do . I find one a year.
I really enjoyed seeing all your collections on display. Our cats get in places so high up we can't imagine how they got there or how to get them down safely.

Thank you for sharing you day with us! It’s wonderful to see the snow. Here in Texas we only have it once every 4 years or so. 🤠
Omg fur baby Chris...hilarious! Love your decor. I also feel the same way after Christmas decor comes down...
Very homey and cozy video! You and Chris make a good team.

I add drained corn to my chili. It's pretty and adds a little extra flavor.
Your house looks lovely! You create such visually interesting vignettes. Glad Chris has his plow to keep things cleared. Keep warm! 🤗
SNOW!! Never gonna see it where I live, here in Sydney!
I bet not.. I’d send it to you if I could 🥶

"The weird closet" 🤣🤣🤣 I LOVE that! (I'm sure that's not the take-away you wanted us to get from this video, but that is my all time favorite!!)

That was a great tree bag. You could have rested the bag in the galvanized bucket to store it together.
Your home looks nice and refreshed after the Christmas is done.
I love the weird closet. 😂
Wow what a nice snow day! Cuddle up with a good book and a pot of stew!
I’m watching the part where the tree is coming down. You two are a hoot. 😊
I adore how you have used your collection in your decor! And of course I always like seeing the kitties…especially little Tater…. I need to try that UA-cam channel for my kitties too!
Love it! I get it. It took me three days to decorate my entrance hall table after Christmas. I must admit, it was fun!
It is.. if fun tweaking it until you’re happy ❤️
Everything looks beautiful. Love your collections. Enjoy your videos so much. ❤
Everything looks marvelous! The perfect time to do this!❤

House looks fantastic! You Chickie and Chris are truly blessed.
He needs a cover over his tractor. Brrr.
I like soupy chili as well
I bought some cute reproduction mugs and unbreakable ornaments for my grand baby.
Everything looks fabulous. Enjoyed watching you rearrange everything and such great results ❤
Your home is my beautiful!
I love Chris. And you too.
I now live in WI, but, am from the Central Valley in CA, so I hate the cold & snow❄❄❄❄❄☃☃☃⛄❄❄❄. We live on 80 acres and you cannot see another house from our property and hardly anyone drives by our house. We have someone plow for us, but, we do have an old full-size tractor. I took down my tree on Dec.27, but, had it up since Oct.8, so it WAS time for me. I had knee surgery Nov. 22 and 16 days later went to another state and had a 2hr. procedure, so was very sick. Prayers sent your way
Oh that corner looks much better!
