Tips for getting the best results
Shake product well.
Use on clean and dry tires in a well-ventilated area.
To clean tires thoroughly, spray with a product like Meguiar's D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus or Meguiar's D101 All Purpose Cleaner. Agitate with a tire brush and rinse off with water. Make sure the tire is fully dry. This step will remove all dirt, grime, and pre-existing tire dressing ensuring maximum performance.
For a HIGH GLOSS SHINE:
Spray an even coat of tire shine directly on tires and let it self-spread.
Remove any overspray from wheels or surrounding surfaces.
For a MEDIUM GLOSS SHINE:
Spray tire dressing onto tires and spread with an applicator pad, like our Soft Foam Applicators, or a towel.
Remove any overspray from wheels or surrounding surfaces.
Note: This product sprays out of the container white but turns clear once it has set and bonded to the tire.
Do not use on tires or seats of motorcycles, bicycles, or other two-wheeled vehicles.
Avoid spraying onto brake rotors, drums, or brake pads. Application to these surfaces can become slippery.
Do not apply, or allow product to contact, tire tread.
Remove spray tire dressing immediately from concrete or asphalt with detergent to prevent staining or slippery conditions.
Store and transport tire shine in a secure, upright position.

There are many of these products available in this category.....but I can only count on one hand those that last longer than a few weeks. Can you name one?
Sure can, Autoglym High Performance Tyre Gel. Lasts and lasts and laaaaasts.
Carpro Darkside lasts for me, also Carpro has this one called Blackout, comes in a glass vial, it lasts for a really long time, not that glossy though
Hybrid solutions graphene acrylic tire definitely gets me beyond a few weeks.
@@jayhoughton558 really, just applied two layers of that actually, I guess it does get two weeks but I like really glossy tire shines, lol I’ve been using oil based dressings actually, they go for a long time and look super glossy
Renew Protect takes it for me. Stuff's practically like liquid rubber/plastic. The fact it dries completely to the touch on its own is huge. I put it on my car and don't even think about topping up for at least a month or two.
Personal preference, I use a soft bristle brush to apply tire coatings. Spray on the brush and work on to the tire. I feel it gets in to all the nooks and crannys of the tire better, especially if the tire has a lot of pattern to it. Any excess can be leveled with a towel.
Which brush are you using? My preferred method is a foam block but I’m not happy with it.
I know you will make a great tire 🛞 product Brian 👊🏼I can’t wait for a good tire shine
Thanks for all these product reviews. You and Sweet Project Cars are my two detailer channels.
Great video. Still waiting for the perfect tire shine to come out. Haven’t found one yet
*Infinity Wax Tyre Coat* is the best I've tried in 10+ years, their Tyre Gel is 2nd best (but its retired now due to high ingredient costs). 3rd place to Garage Therapy's Tyre Serum -- all UK based companies, so product may not be available in your region.
Lithium trim serum works very well and is very resilient against the sun and the elements.
Another great video and review Brian definitely a fan of most water based dressing. Doesn’t hurt my feelings to quickly wash the tires with some soap and reapply as needed after washes.
Thanks for the vid I picked it up today, sucks over promises are a standard
Thank so much for making this videos. I love that you said you are not completely satisfied with any of the tire dressings. I have been dealing for 8 months and the tire dressings I have use are disappointing at best. I hope we find one a great one soon.
Love the color on that Camero!
I remember the 80s when everyone used Armor All on tires and then the 90s switched to silicone dressings. 2000S we have Hybrid Ceramic everything except toothpaste.
The hybrid line isn't bad from my experience. Good in a pinch from the local auto supply or car care section of the grocery store
Daaannggg.. that car is absolute fire! Nice work, B!
The STI or the ZL1? Doesn't really matter cause they both r lol but I'm asking cause I'm the owner of the red Subaru WRX STI so I've gotta ask haha
I’ve tried this. Really like P&S tire shine
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Acrylic tire coating and shine is the best product I’ve ever used . It lasts a full 6 weeks
Keep the videos coming. Great content.
This stuff works GREAT in my opinion. I love it!👌🏽
I agree with your puppy.
That’s a beautiful Camaro
I agree not being real happy with any coatings. Carpro Darkside is the closest for me so far. Can’t wait to see what you have coming Brian 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Let's just admire that beautiful camaro ss 1le
Great video, all the tire shines that have protection in it that I’ve tried aren’t that good for me, I do actually like the new CarPro Darkside though
I have darkside ordered. my new hope.. most of these are just disappointing as far as longevity goes...
Awesome video and product review good friend
I agree wayyyy to many.. but something is better than nothing...proper tire protection is a very good thing 😁🤓
Black Magic Titanium Matte Tire Finish is my favorite but it's been hard to find the past few years. I like the low gloss finish, the durability, and the somewhat dust repellent nature of it. It also works great on rubber trim and rubberized convertible tops but DO NOT get it on paint, it can harm some single stage finishes! I'd love to see a shoot-out style review of matte tire finish products, we don't all want high gloss rubber.
$4.90 at Pep Boys
@@laurapalmerTDGE Try adding it to the cart? Nothing happens when I clicked on that button? Does it work for you?
@@huzudra - I just tried it, the site doesn't allow it, I suspect sold out. As well as on the Black Magic site, it seems that it is no longer made.
But I have found a solution/point of sale: Hammond Hardware has requested it at 9.99 Bucks.
For convenience, order about ten as long as supplies last.
Of course there will be other stores with some searching.
I just cleared a spot on my cart for the new Apex Tire! Will it be available for pre-order? I just ordered the Koch Chemie Heavy Cut H9.02 from there website, any thoughts of doing a review Brian? Great content as always.
Nice Smurf Camaro. Haven’t used anything that lasts more than 2 rainy days. Next set of new tires will be coated.
When ya make one please let me test. I am looking for a tire shine to love❤
At 7:28 that’s the owner of the Subaru from your customer testimonial video.👌🏾
Yep that's me lol! I am also kind of an employee there at the shop when they need me. Wish I was there more often but yeah I love those guys and what incredible work they do huh??
The worse thing that I do isn't doing the tires at all. I just wash the tires with the car shampoo. I am a Meguiar's fan. But this looks interesting. I do like the way you put on the Meguiar's Ceramic tire shine. My only concern is would it dry rot the tires. Thanks much for your video.
TW Acrylic and tire shine.
Thanks for the video Brian. I would like to know if EOD Kraken clean tires better than Adam tire and rubber?
Brian, between Mustang and Camaro which one you like the must?
Is it water based? I hate the oily ones sling it all over my wheel wells. Thanks for the video?
Seems ok but I'll stick with TW tire coating.
Stoners tire shine is really good.
I am always a bit weary of adding a chemical cleaner on to a tyre. You can remove the preservatives that manufactures put into their tyres.
citrus pre-wash or APC won't harm the tyres, just cleans the surface, removes contaminants, such as grime, oil, fuel and road salt.
Fan of Fireball’s tire wax
Tell me about? What do you like I was looking to try there tire stuff.
@@nachomandetailingservices1057 It was originally based off of Brian’s review. My brother and I have been buying it since. Perfect sheen, seems to nice coverage, lasts both on the tire and within the bottle- seems like good value? I really only use it in the summer here in Canada. I have tried a couple others, most recently Adams Graphene. Not even close…..
Shop Manager is so cute!!! Please get him (?) a couple of pads to lay on!! 😍😇🤓 We have a Samoyed.....see my Avatar.
Nice review btw!
I've been considering a drill brush to help with all the scrubbing - overkill? [lazy emoji]
Nope. Use them on the daily. It's awesome.
@@jdisdetermined Thanks!
Nice
What year & model was that Jaguar coupe?
Does this "yellow" the wheels after a while?
Anybody else think that recently; products like tyre shines, spray sealants etc… are getting much of a muchness and it’s down to brand personal preference. Think back to S&S, are there any individuals that are head and shoulders out in front these days?
Agree. Many brands have a slew of really good products. I did just find my first product I thought was superior to other options. Inner Space from Lithium has become my go to interior finish. Lithium was taking my money with all their 25 days of Christmas deals 😅. I use at least 5 different brands for various tasks and I like them all.
Does it sling?
I won’t buy anything until I finish the gallon of HyperDressing by Meguiar’s. Plenty left still!
The dog stole the show
I've seen alottt better hydrophobics from non ceramic tire dressing that was on my car for 2 weeks
What sprayer head are you using?
Gyeon tire
First!!!
