I'm glad she's doing well after Hidos passing, it broke my heart when I found out since he was one of my favorites and I didn't know he was still dealing with the liver issues. Life sucks that way sometimes.
Great job on this video Bret! :D This is a very wonderful story of Megumi Kudo: from a young girl wanting to be part of AJW’s Best but almost faded away because of a fatal-injury, working regular jobs just to make ends-meet, To making a Big Career Comeback by joining FMW doing Deathmatch-Type Bouts which was Unheard of any Joshi doing so, coming out on top and earning the Deathmatch Queen nickname solidifying her Legendary Status in the process! :) Also, I love that you mentioned that 1991 Pro Wrestling Weekly magazine cover that she was in (a very iconic one in my book) was done again by the Late Hana Kimura (Rest In Power to her).
one of the best woman death match wrestlers of all time! thank you ms kudo-san ❤ edit: kudos (lol) for you too bret i think your channel is amazing for the promotion it self which almost no channels covers except you
This channel is awesome I grew up watching fmw but everything was in Japanese it's like watching it all over again hearing everything that happened in English I was really lost on some stuff and have wondered for years but I get to find out now thank you for your channel def subbed
Megumi Kudo has been one of my favorite wrestler that I never saw live. She always seemed immensely talented and tough as nails to pull off the stuff she did. Not to mention she innovated what would be my favorite finishing move ever. She essentially is what got me looking at women's wrestling surprisingly enough and serves as the inspiration for a character in a personal writing project I'm trying to figure out. She's definitely on one of my personal Mt. Rushmores of Pro Wrestling Keep up the good work here dude
No doubt Megumi Kudo is and was the Queen of Deathmatch Wrestling. Imagine her in STARDOM in her prime plus making her debut in NJPW. R.I.P to my favorite FMW OG Bad Boy Hido.

Awesome video Bret 💯 Megumi Kudo will forever be the queen of FMW and I wonder what Kanemura said in his reception speech at the wedding 🤔😜😂
The thought of Atsushi Onita giving a speech at a wedding sounds wild

松永さんサイコー❣️😭👍✨✨✨
Deathmatch goddess, that's the only definition for Megumi Kudo.

The Never Angel was here…
🐱👍⛩🐼👍🏻
Respects all the way to Megumi Kudo!
工藤さんは、綺麗!!コンバットさん 土屋さんと共に素晴らしい!!!
Dark Side of the Ring did not mention her in a more positive light. This was my biggest criticism of that episode regarding FMW
Well here's an entire show dedicated to her.
And that's commendable. Seems Japan was more ahead when it comes to female wrestlers in comparison to the west.
❤工藤めぐみ

Japanese kindergarten sounds dope
