Seems like a lot of stuff has been happening in Idaho -- Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell, the University of Idaho murders, Michael Vaughn's abduction, etc. I know it's a big state, I could visit more places than my little town but I didn't expect these cases to become internationally known. Crazy world.
I think I read in this case one of them knocked him down with truck and then hid his body , was one theory given .. I could be confused with another case but I'm nearly sure it's this one . Il never forget Brandi and her hope against hope for him to return and then he was basically in the neighbours yard
Yes, that’s the right case and theory. They think it was an accident and they took his body back home and he died there. Cause a cadaver dog stopped at the roadway every time indicating he got into a car so the scent stopped there. If that’s true, and they didn’t call 911 so they wouldn’t get in trouble, then that’s pure evil! Letting a family worry for over a year? Call 911 anonymously at least or something!!
Although murderers often use the excuse that it was an accident, usually the victim falling and fatally hitting their head, in order to get a much lesser charge and sentence.
I think it was the little girl Athena from Texas supposedly hit by Fed Ex driver. Michael was supposedly kidnapped by neighbors down the road from them.

LE must have more information on her than just a photo on a fridge, which honestly isn't that strange to me. Hopefully the poor kid can be found, just tragic.
My son is 4 and can’t get out of the house on his own. If my son had done this though, I would’ve kicked open every door and just kept going until I found him, but that is me.
I’m not to sold on the missing person photo thing. Wonder if they tried to track his sent with dogs? Would be too late now but very disturbing about could just go missing from home. I have a 16 month old and now I will definitely be getting those plastic door for handle thingys for when she gets savvy enough to think about going outside without me..this video inspired me to do so.
If I didn't know the child I'd keep the poster up so I stood a better chance of knowing if I saw him. If I did know him, it would feel really disrespectful to just throw it away.
Actually I can imagine the reaction if she threw it away n someone saw it in her rubbish. The gossip mill would be going full bore about how heartless she was, and *that* action would generate suspicion too. Was any survey done to see if others still had the poster? It really doesn't seem suss to me. Also, I hope I'm not the only one that suddenly realises I've got a flyer on my fridge that's a year out of date. ETA okay, my opinion is changing. I just got to the police interview. Nothing against the Most High God but seems a bit, umm, fanatically religious, to put it politely. Lesson learnt, don't comment before the end! Seriously though my heart hurts for his family, and the entire town will never be the same.
I think we need some more background info here, no pic of 'Stacey'? Any prior convictions or a little about their history. I suspect CCTV of poor Michael pretty much ends at their doorstep.

That's my thought as well. I'm pretty sure she's confessing through her "Most High God" spiel that she and her husband Stacey killed Michael, but she's lying about where they put him. I feel just sick for Michael's family.
Given that law enforcement was eyeing up the neighbors, they probably only asked her to come in for questioning after getting tips about the tiktok, and then arrested her after she said something (in truth or under duress) related to a dead body.
@@awkwardautistic Here you are again admitting you didn't watch the video. Michael went out of the house knocking on doors for his friends. All caught on CCTV
I am about two minutes and 39 seconds in. This is a case that I have been following very closely since he first went missing you have a few facts wrong he did not go in the kitchen to start making dinner he’d actually ordered a pizza that night and he said that he had been in the other bedroom changing the younger child’s diaper/ gone out “to smoke” outside at the time that little Michael a.k.a. “Monkey” went missing.
You have some information that's not correct. First off Tyler didn't go to the kitchen to make dinner. Tyler went to change the little sisters diaper. Then called for pizza. Next he was seen by neighbors and even spoke to one asking if her grandson could play. She told him to go back home. It was also many months before the police decided this was an abduction case. This is something Brandi has always felt. Also the tip was called in by someone that was in the Wandras home. Sarah was arrested for Failure to Report a Death. They dug in the back yard because of the anonymous person who reported the tip. Sarah wasn't arrested until the tip was called in. They were looking in the back yard before Sarah was in court. They came prepared with lots of equipment to dig with. They were never digging with barehands. They are no longer looking for the white Honda Pilot. There are two men that have actually been spoken to that lived in the Wandras home at the time of Michael's disappearance. One lives in North Dakota and the other Ohio. Their pictures were shown at the press release.
She also said they saw "tyler" on cct in his minecraft shirt. 1. That would be monkey. 2. It wasn't 6 o'clock. Tyler, called Brandi, not the police. They dug up Wandras yard, the property she lived on. Her parents owned the property and she was renting. I understand the confusion to an extent. But there's a lot of mess in here.
What this video describes is almost physically impossible in the time frame given. Am I wrong, or are these suspects mentally challenged? (I've heard so many rumors.) What I DON'T get--and what I also don't get about the case of poor Summer Wells-is how such disappearances can occur literally in the blink of an eye, in silence and leaving no trace. ON THE FAMILY'S OWN PROPERTY, by the way. What are the odds of a "lurker" hanging round the area just waiting for a chance? Another question: why was this child accustomed to roaming the neighborhood, knocking on doors? Also, what's up with that woman's religious mania?
They didn’t arrest her after finding out she had a poster of Micheal on her fridge, it was after an anonymous tip was called in by someone very close to her naming her and her husband as being involved in Michaels death and that his remains were in her backyard. This poor sweet boy, to look at his face and wonder what he went through, the truth has to come out, how could anyone harm an innocent child.
Oh damn I was under the impression that it was the white Pilot that led them to that couples house. But it wasn’t? AND I thought it was SHE who insinuated something about her neighbors yard. Otherwise what on Earth could’ve led them there?
So my thought on this is a person keeping a missing person poster on there fridge is not a murder and you can't always trust a person calling in on a tip line because they might not like that person they are accusing so I feel that the police jumped the gun on this I feel like the police better have enough evidence showing that this woman committed a crime because defamation of character lawsuits are no joke and the police dept will wind up paying millions. also did the police thoroughly check out the father's story since he was the last person to see his son I feel like something isn't right with this story
if theyre still digging around the police should try to get ahold of one of those xray/mri (not sure the exact type of technology it uses) machines that can be used to detect bodies and other stuff under the ground
They did use one, they completely dug up the yard and didn't find his body but 6 cadaver dogs alerted to human remains, it's thought that he was buried then moved.
Why is there so many cases in America where parents let 5 year olds wonder about the place by themselves then act shocked when they go missing? Like just because the population size is smaller where you live doesn't mean there isn't people willing to harm children. If you are not prepared to watch your kids then don't have them smh
"wander about the place" you mean... Their home?! What would your do, lock your five year old in their bedroom? Try to get them to stay in a playpen? The dad was right in the kitchen making dinner, and it would only take a minute for the kid to walk out the house and down the street. Kids can surprise you no matter their age but that doesn't mean you can lock them up 24/7. This was a tragic accident on the part of the parents, don't blame them for their loss.
@@toastercatx it literally said it wasn't unusual for him to wander around on his own outside going door to door. How is that ok for a 5 year old to do? I understand if its supervised or he is watched but clearly this isn't the case and in almost all abduction cases the parents let their very young children out unsupervised on a daily basis. It's usually done to the fact they believe it's a safe place but there is no such thing. It is the parents responsibility to know where their children are and they cannot afford to trust that the people around them are good people.
This is atill confusing to me. The flyer setting the police into action seems fiahy. I feel more is known and not beibf told, or this is a deep stretch and they really dont know. Michael hasn't been found and all the digging, hasnt given them anythibg or dogs that were brought in
I'm confused as to why the neighbor was immediately arrested in connection with Michael's murder shortly after she had posted that video online. From all that I could ascertain, she had been arrested solely for keeping a copy of Michael's missing child flier on her fridge a year after his disappearance. Now, please forgive me if I am wrong, however there is absolutely nothing illegal or even suspicious about posting a missing child poster on one's refrigerator - particularly if that child lived 4 houses down on the same street. We always kept fliers of local missing kids up in our house as a reminder to keep an eye out for them. Is that really all that unusual? Is that really grounds for issuing an arrest? I am very intrigued by this case and am anxious to hear how thie all folds out over time.
I thought this also! How is that incriminating! I feel horrible for this neighbour truly. Let’s say it comes out she had nothing to do with it her life is now ruined: unbelievable
You’re absolutely correct, some of us care about the children & crimes that happen in our neighborhoods to become invested in the cases. No I think I heard that it was actually a tip from someone else that led police to her home. Something more than that flyer. Though I admit that them searching her neighbors yard is odd if she didn’t lead them to that conclusion herself. I have followed this case from the beginning and most reporters say that it was actually SHE that told them to check the yard.
@@jturtle5318 well yes but the thing is she helped tell the officers where to dig. She is a nut and needs to be punished for anything she did or stood back and didn't do to stop what was happening! Evidence was found in the back yard and in the home. This isn't some innocent lady we are talking about here. Many people in the area had fliers in their homes, outside their homes and were helping to hang them as well. It's a small community, the issue is she knew about Michael's death and had his picture in her fridge and looked at it every day for over a year and didn't feel compelled to turn herself in!
Parents need to get it through their heads that literally nowhere is safe. Not your front yard, not your lovely neighbourhood, not your local mall. Nowhere. You can't turn your back on a kid for a minute.
People need to get it in their heads that no one can watch a child every second. Kids have been kidnapped from their own beds. I guess they should never sleep? The parents should never sleep? Shower? Cook meals? I guess the kids can just starve. Kids have been kidnapped from school. I guess they should never leave the house? I was a perfect parent too; until I actually had a child.
Tyler was not cooking. Tyler went to change his sister's diaper. There is a lot of misinformation in this video. I live in the states and can guarantee you, the area they live is VERY small and surrounded by farmland. The wondras are actually in adjoining neighborhood.
Idk I hate to blame the parents, but I'm just finding it odd how a small child could secret off like that ehile in the same house and completely unnoticed. I have five kids and 3 animals and I cook dinner I do housework and I know damn well I can hear every door in my house and identify it I know who is wherr and when. And I have a large home (6700 sq ft). Keep in mind, my neighbors had an autistic son ge was prob about 12 at the time, we have a fenced yard with locked gates and a security system. I heard someone downstairs in my family room from two floors up in the kitchen when I should've been the only one home. I found the next door boy down there he'd gotten over or past the fence somehow and located the ONLY one of about 7 possible entry points to the house which was unlocked and therefore not armed with the security system, and he'd got himself a soda frim the wet bar and put in his favorite DVD and was transfixed on the sofa not even really acknowledging me when I told him I'd have to call his mom, a SAHM who happened to ge married to one of my colleagues at the hospital so I knew them well. When I called her, shed already realized he was gone for some time but had ZERO idea where he'd have gone. Tgw river and heavy woods is behind the homes and that was a fearful possibility. He'd only been very slightly acquainted with me. He didn’t know me well at all, but apparently he took note of our DVD collection, and that was what inspired him or brought him to our house I guess he wanted to get out those DVDs, and being a very smart kid he was able to do it and my point is this is a big and highly intelligent preteen and he couldn’t sneak off unnoticed with other younger kids distracting his mom how does a very Young child get that much of a head start on his dad?!? Tough for me to fathom. Even my youngest kids get it drilled into their head they are never to exit the house without me or my permission, unless it's to get help or something in which case they know who to call and which neighbors to go to if they found him on CCTV how far was the dad behind him that he couldn’t just look down the road and retrace his footsteps or see his son?

@@kittikat2318 you put it way better than me haha thank you .
@@ClaireBeatty im nearly sure there was evidence on the vehicle etc they had probable cause or something. It was a genuine hit and run but hid body instead for some reason , either deportation no insurance or something maybe panic I forget maybe someone else would know
I could not think of the name of this channel after changing my email address I had to re-subscribe to all my old channels just now found this back and the name great
LE must have more information on her than just a photo on a fridge, which honestly isn't that strange to me.
Seriously though my heart hurts for his family, and the entire town will never be the same.
...extremely sad...
I think we need some more background info here, no pic of 'Stacey'? Any prior convictions or a little about their history. I suspect CCTV of poor Michael pretty much ends at their doorstep.
getting arrested for accidentally revealing on tiktok that you forgot to clean off your fridge is wild as hell
So good to hear a Scottish crime creator 👏🙏😘
Poor boy. I’ll never understand how people have urges with children; disgusting. Hope Michael’s parents can recover and heal.
How heartbreaking this is :(
For more info, Hidden True crime’s UA-cam keeps in touch with Michaels mom.
So sad that this area is so prone to child abduction.
Also the police didn't call Brandi to tell her Michael was missing. Tyler called her.
The guy in the CCTV image towards the end looks like he's on a phone. Couldn't they check phone records for that area at that time?
So devastating. I can't imagine. Perhaps Sarah Wandra is a very sick woman, like Cathy Woods who made a full confession and served 35 years. Seems like Leeds and details are sparse and seem random. Hopefully law enforcement is making progress and the details may not be shared until they can be.
Poor baby. x
Hey no worries because the average person here in the U.S.A. have no idea where this Idaho city is at anyways because it's one of those city's you only know about it if you born & raised in Idaho and know the entire geography of your state...
I was thinking the same thing.
Not true. I dont live there and know where it is. Also, Google can get you directly onto those streets.
@@kbodin3050 ummm who stalks Google lol I only use it for driving directions otherwise no need to use google well unless you are in school and doing some kind of project that requires it besides that no need to stalk google...
I hope there will closure.
They had to have something else on that women to arrest her. Yea it's alil weird to have a missing poster that old but it's not that weird
That's my thought as well. I'm pretty sure she's confessing through her "Most High God" spiel that she and her husband Stacey killed Michael, but she's lying about where they put him. I feel just sick for Michael's family.
I just threw my phone across my room thinking your account picture was actually a spider on my screen 🤣
Yeah it's not too odd to have a local missing kid poster up imo, especially in a small town. It keeps their face in your memory in case you see them.
Given that law enforcement was eyeing up the neighbors, they probably only asked her to come in for questioning after getting tips about the tiktok, and then arrested her after she said something (in truth or under duress) related to a dead body.
His poor parents. The guilt that his father & mother must feel has to be unbearable, even though the did nothing wrong. Please God let them find him.
Who knows...he could be the one responsible. At the very least...he didn't watch the kid very well. He had one kid to keep track of and didn't.
"those of us outside of america can be forgiven for not knowing where fruitland is" no, its okay. americans dont know where idaho is either.
All the sources listed above are bad links. Was he found maybe and they were taken down? I am hoping so.
Maybe you could put 'unsolved' in the title. I only watched because I thought there must have been new developments in this case.
@@kbodin3050 right!! I don't know if maybe the information is hard to get where this lady lives, but this should be redone.
Thank you for the update but it would’ve been nice to post any articles or police reports to support this information.

🕊️rip monkey❤😢
Poor kid
Michael Vaughan's disappearance must explain why England lost the Ashes.
What’s happening in the Midwest lately???
i don't get why you would kidnap a child, like honestly
Make dinner???? I thought it was order a pizza 🍕....very different things sounds like story isnt straight at all
Congrats on 200K!
Littered? How about sprinkled?
So sad. I hope the family gets what they need. Thanks DC🙏💔🕊️🦌👼🏼
Enjoy newer vids ty.

if theyre still digging around the police should try to get ahold of one of those xray/mri (not sure the exact type of technology it uses) machines that can be used to detect bodies and other stuff under the ground
Only thing I can think of is GPR -Ground Penetrating Radar
They did use one, they completely dug up the yard and didn't find his body but 6 cadaver dogs alerted to human remains, it's thought that he was buried then moved.
Why didnt they use a geoprobe/radar?
I’m confused, who’s Tyler? 3:03?
The dad.
@@skeletonflower5252 got a time stamp for that?
💯 some ppl are just not meant to be parents sadly
This is atill confusing to me. The flyer setting the police into action seems fiahy. I feel more is known and not beibf told, or this is a deep stretch and they really dont know. Michael hasn't been found and all the digging, hasnt given them anythibg or dogs that were brought in
👀🙏
Stop blaming the dad. This could happen to anybody.
Usual suspects!!!
Fruitland??? Isn't that just San Francisco?
The dad went to change his baby sister & ordered pizza for dinner then couldn't find micheal 4:15
Okay..?
She lived 4 minutes away not 4 homes away. It is in a separate housing development.
I'm not sure, I'd probably still have a flyer up about my neighbor's kid.
What are you even talking about? The kid was at home and wandered off while the dad was cooking.
Tyler was not cooking. Tyler went to change his sister's diaper. There is a lot of misinformation in this video. I live in the states and can guarantee you, the area they live is VERY small and surrounded by farmland. The wondras are actually in adjoining neighborhood.

Cool. Brits don’t know where Fruitland is. Guess what? Most of us couldn’t point to London on a map. I guess it’s all about priorities. Lol
The dad couldnt watch him better than that
Agree I wouldn’t let a 5 year old out on his own without supervision
If it hadn't been him, it would have been another child.
@@markwebster5749 He wasn't let outside by himself, he left the house while the father was cooking, thinking his son was still playing video games.
@@VioletJoy Orr ok 👍
He was such a beautiful child, this world is a scary and dangerous place, he was there and gone, I really do hope they find him and his family can get closure, I hope they find him alive, but usually when someone goes missing like this, that’s sadly not the case.
