My teacher did something so similar to this on April fools. She walked into the hallway, saying she had to get something from the teachers room. So when she came back she said, “I heard all of you from across the hallway, with the door closed this is unacceptable!” Mind you she said this in a very loud voice. She goes behind her desk and pulls out a paper. And says, “That’s it, we’re having a math quiz.” She then asks who would like to do the test first because she only has one copy, and has to print out more. Most of the class raises their hands. She goes out into the hallway, closes the door and the class is so silent. She walks back in laughing and says, April fools, I heard nothing from you guys across the hall. That’s the day I found out my teacher could be an actor.
