- The next addition in Standard's line of double barreled, double action revolvers. The S333 Gen 3 fires two .22 Winchester Magnum rounds with one pull of the trigger. This model contains longer, individual barrels, a new polymer lower, a two-stage set style trigger and hammer, dovetailed day & night glow sights. I've been waiting for this man got the gen two liked it but wanted the gen 3 since I saw it
I sold my gen1, bullets were tumbling at 10ft., trigger was hard to pull, would have to hit the ejector with something solid to remove spent casings. It was a waste of money, a novelty at best.

This pistols great if you remember to aim 12 inches low at 8 yds. 2, 22 mag rnds in not accurate with this little to control. Great gun for property walking or point blank bad stuff. I love mine.
I picked one of these up used from my local gunshop 200 bucks. I bought it due to it being an oddball gun. That being said it does go bang every time. It sends 22 mag bullets tumbling through the air. God help you if you try to shoot something further than 10ft away. I dont have to much difficulty with extracting empties. It's fun to look at and shoot but I'd never carry it as a primary self defense gun.

@@Darkstar77825 No I got the old first gen. The gen 2 and 3 have increased barrel length. Should help bullet stabilization.
What more could we ask for? A 12 round cylinder and 1 inch longer barrels, or a faster twist rate. Also, if you can find a way to help one utilize the front "trigger guard" as a way to get a better hold on it would help a lot. Bring it in slightly closer in and put two finger grooves on it so that your other hand can stabilize it while your trigger hand works that insane trigger. You don't need a double trigger that long. Just use two normal triggers spaced about 1/2" apart or less, if possible.

You might need a CPL to even open carry it because its disguised as a garden hose sprayer
I'm glad you increased the barrel size, now it seems to have better accuracy, it's a shame this revolver is not exported to Brazil, many people here like the .22 magnum caliber
Well make it an easy triger pull with an one finger pull and a trigger guard will make it a lot nicer and even put a safety on it if need be

It's designed for very close range, most actual self defense shootings happen at very close distance.

If only it had a normal trigger. If you need two triggers for legals reasons, why can't they be side by side and much lighter?
It's One long trigger.. I cut mine down to 1 finger length
The gun is 22 caliber, 2 shots per trigger pull, 2 barrels, 2 triggers, 4 trigger pulls to empty it... but its called it the 333? confusing marketing.
Secondly, there are two seemingly unrelated features (double barrel and double trigger) that introduce too much complexity to the gun.
You could do a 5-shot .38 snubnose, with a double trigger to assist people with inhibited hand strength, that would probably sell great.
Or a gun in .22mag or 22lr with the 8-shot/2 barrel system, with a NORMAL DA/SA trigger, and a 3-6 inch barrel. That would be a cool gun.
But combining both features is unnecessary and over complicates things
"333" based on the theory that most gunfights involve no more than 3 rounds fired at 3 yards or less, in 3 seconds. Of course, if you find yourself in a non-standard self-defense situation, you might wish you had more capacity.
@@johnh5259 I know that, if the gun had 3 rounds or 3 barrels that might be an appropriate name for it, otherwise it's just poor marketing

Unfortunately this thing is worse than the first two iterations.(I have all 3) The cylinder has a metric ton of end shake which causes misfires from the cylinders causing rounds to not go off. The new trigger is super crunchy. It groups better but it still key holes.

I just uploaded a short showing the issues, it's back at standard for warranty work so hopefully it gets sorted out.

Honestly who cares if they’re keyholing, that’ll just make a bigger entry wound and less consern about over penetration
I've had the gen 1, gen 2 and will purchase a gen 3. The only STD firearm I still own is the DP-12.

I don't get this companies gimmicky philosophy.. it like they make some guns just cuz they can.. I don't see any reason to own this gun , but fir laughs

Bought the Gen3 came with the optional laughably loose cylinder. When I contacted the dealer who is also the manufacturer, I was told to ship it back for repair. Shipping fees both ways on this piece of junk are not something I'm willing to pay. The thing is garbage, Standard Mfg and their sister company Summit-Guns are a problem. Avoid this gun and these Companies.
