this is the best comparison video ive seen in years. you showed multiple brands in hand... I've been watching many of your videos lately. You earned a new subscriber. Thank you
Great to see you back Fraser, with the demise of LRO I've recently been going through some of the great articles and videos you made with them. I thought the LR logo looked familiar, looking forward to the new videos. This is a great start.
Loving the videos, getting lots of ideas. Only one thing, the light you’re using reflects off your glasses a lot which is my only gripe. Take it easy and keep up the good work !!
Muy buen video. Gracias por la explicación detallada de los diferentes tipos de snorkel y soluciones para su auténtica función. Desde La Rioja - España.
The Southdown raised intake was the best looking of all intakes IMO but involved cutting the wing (not everyone's favoured option), unfortunately it's no longer available. The plastic intakes look like polypropylene or similar material that fuel tanks are made from so would be interesting if they deform or crack when impacted on a tree or they stuff the wing in.
Two things: First off regarding the Safety Devices Roll cage mounted snorkel, there's one major problem or issue associated with it. The think hangs to the side a bit as it comes from the side of the vehicle and as such, everytime I open my door the snorkel comes into contact with the sideview mirror and causes it to lay almsot flat against the door. There used to be a snorkel made for the safety devices roll cage that came out of the top of the wing, but I don't believe it is manufactured any more. Here's what that looked like: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover_Defender#/media/File:Defender90.JPG
Hello Fraser i have a 2.4 Puma and wonder if a 3 inch snorkel wouldnt be a bit restrictive for the puma? i ve seen someone say that but all the snorkel options are probably 3 inchs... what do you think?

Aerodynamic snorkel, that'll come in handy on a Defender 😂

I don't think so as the internal pipework is smaller out of the factory.
Nice video 👏👏🫡
aerodynamic and defender do not belong in the same sentence ,,,
