@@TKREGroup favorite lists are too subjective but a 'best in LA' list implies high level technique or supremely sourced ingredients, and would probably include places such as: providence, n/naka, melisse, hayato maybe vespertine but that's iffy, holbox, saffy's, anajak thai, bavel, gjelina, somni (when it reopens), bistro na, etc. etc. As far as food cities go, LA is maybe the best in the US however it isn't the best restaurant city and can't keep up with NYC for example. that being said, there are so many phenomenal sushi and chinese restaurants here that it can seem overwhelming bc it is.
