These cars are the cats ass. My grandparents bought this year 68 98 LS every option when I was a kid and that started my love affair with Oldsmobile. My little 4ft 11 grandma used to make people get outta the way with that battleship. The car was a beast the torq was unbelievable for its size. My grandparents ordered the car with every option. We'd eat in the car exclusively outside at McDonald's with the air on. I'd get chewed out for laying on the rim blow steering wheel cause they told me not to. So many great memories of a great car. I loved that car.Sadly my mother sold the car when Grandma passed away in 1991 never to be seen again. I wonder if it's still out there somewhere. 😢
This was the first car I ever owned. Bought it from the company I worked for when I was 19 years old. Cost me $300.00 plus ten hours of free labour. Leaded gas was still available for it and it was a beast. Loved that car , black vinyl roof on navy paint. Thanks for showing us your 68 Olds.👍👍🇨🇦
My dad had a 65 69 and a 74 I sure miss him taking of at the lights on everyone with that torque monster the 69 would burn rubber foe a straight block until he got out of it.
I got the same car but convertible two door Scarlett red. Workin the kinks out, completely missing the door panels, and the cruise control next the gauge cluster, but other than that about everything’s there. Thanks for the video!
My parents had one when I was a kid. My dad was stationed in Germany and we took it with us while my dad fulfilled his orders for 3 years. My mom would take that beast on the autobahn and man that thing would go! Cool old car. Well, it’s old now anyways. But I have fond memories of that big car.

That sounds great! I'm the only one around here who likes this car! (everyone hates it)
Yuuuppp. My buddy had one ..burn rubber and move like hell. Fun fun fun
Great old car. I enjoyed your video. Serious power and luxury. 7:43
I'll take this Olds over a brand new Toyota any day. These old Detroit cars had such character and majesty.

I can use this. It's more than I can say for the girliemobiles of the here and now!
What is gas mileage , is it a 455 Hybrid
It gets great mileage, as long as the engine is off.
It’s like any other car, you fill it up when it gets low.
my dad had the same car. Its not really a car, closer to a BOAT...lOl
It sure gets up and goes pretty well for 4,500 pounds!
