I sold my 300 and got the 310 and I do not regret it at all, the sound is definitely better on the 310 plus all those extra features, and that new BT 5.1. Totally worth it guys! Great review as always Flossy!
Heard a rumor is doesn't play as loud when on battery as it does when it's plugged in? Can you confirm?
@@kleetus92 Yes, that is correct, both speakers 300 and 310 are not as loud when on battery but it not as much.

@@DarrenBoxhall yeah I own the Xtreme, HK Go + Play and the Partybox 100. They all play louder when plugged in, you only notice if you're really playing attention.
@@kleetus92 that's true, I read that on some UA-cam comments and then I bought the partybox 300 and it does get louder when it's plugged in. Jbl probably set it up like that so you don't drain the battery too quickly when it's not plugged in

For anyone who has purchased or is going to purchase one of these Jbl speakers DO NOT LEAVE IT IN YOUR CAR WITH AN INVERTER. Yes it's cheaper than paying $1k or more for a sound system but consider the cost of damages. There is a high chance someone will break into your car and steal it. You have been informed!

PartyBox 300 got that 3rd tweeter on the bottom that switches in landscape mode for wider stereo seperation though, which sounds amazing in tws mode, especially outdoors, I like the water resistance of the 310 but hate the look of the wheels and don't like all the karaoke stuff..
Just be honest and say that you have the older and worse 300 instead of trying to find reaspns why your 300 is better which its not
i had the 710 it was a monster but i had to trade it with the 310 and dont regret it. big factor for me with the 310 is i can charge the unit and take it anywhere i want, vs the 710 have to be plug into the wall to play it.

I finally just lucked up and was able to order this speaker from Best Buy last night. I had been looking for over a month, but they were sold out everywhere. Got an alert on my phone that Best Buy had em in stock last night, I had to jump on it right away. but to my surprise their stock lasted for a few hours before it sold out again. Now I cant wait for it to get here so I can try it for myself

I got a steal on the PartyBox 300...it was brand new in the box from a store called Dirt Cheap. It was 79 dollars with 40 percent off. It was a mistake but they had to sell it to me at that price. We had a small family gathering for Father's Day and my Family loved it.
Had to watch the whole video! Yo that dearly beloved remix is too great. I was waiting for you use it in the sound test for this type of speaker.

All I could say jbl killed it on making this speaker for sure on my to get list. The bass is solid on this one I could tell the difference with earphones listening to this
Nice review as usual. The only thing worth mentioning is, that I would not use the episode on the beach as a good reason to choose partybox 310, as the wheels can not run in sand anyway 😂

That's a totally different speaker plus it is rated 1800 Watts so of course it will be louder than the 310. I have the 310 and the sound is crystal clear and that bass is wow, again, up to your needs but the 310 won't disappoint you at all.

I bought some professional speaker stands with two of these 310s and they sound even better when elevated up off the ground and positioned directly in front of the party crowd. I also connect both of the 310s together in TWS (stereo) mode which is great! The only annoying thing is having to re-connect them in TWS mode each time I turn them on, which requires me to pull off the back panel and push the TWS button on the back of each speaker. Do you know if there's a quicker way to do this, perhaps using a key button combination on the top panel instead?

If I don't search for a person on mobile android and just open UA-cam to the home screen, I noticed the videos play with closed captions when you just browse the screen. I wonder if someone watches these , without actually clicking the video itself, does it not count towards your views? I know it might not be worth it to you or some others but I don't want them taking money out your pocket or anyone elses.

The 310 seems to be clearer sound also. I have a 5.1 sound system I am using. For youtube you need to be set at multi channel or multi stereo.

I think the only reason the 310 is splashproof is because it has the cover for the ports and such. If you do the same for the 300 wouldn’t it be the same?

Recently purchased the 300 and absolutely love it so i think the 310 is a no for me they sound more or less the same and 100 dollars for a few new features na I'll pass!

I don't know if it's your mic, acoustically treated room, or what, but your video is showing lower bass frequencies than I'm getting out of my 310. Although I'm playing back on a good system with a subwoofer that goes down to 7hz in my room. Not complaing about the 310, I love it, just doesn't go as low as I heard here.

I didn't like the stereo separation with the Partybox 300, and also felt the bass lacking even when boosted, unless I used an Android eq/bass boost app.. I've never had or listened to the Partybox 310 so I don't know if they've improved the bass or not.

saying 240watts on the 310 sounds like its more powerful
