- My free 80s patches for the free VST software syntheseizer Whispair by Full Bucket.
For some reason I had to use the 32 bit version since the 64 bit one crashed my DAW (Cubase 8).

Thank you! It's quite a decent VST once you learn how it works. It wasn't that easy at first to get it to sound good, in my opinion.
Of course, half the success is your playing skills, but the plug-in is excellent. Like all from FullBucket it sounds warm and original.

@@Ciniu They aren't very similar. It's been quite a few years since I sold my Korg MonoPoly though.

Loaded into 64bit version just fine 👍
Great to hear! First time I tried the 64bit everything worked, then when trying it again when I was about to make these presets, my Cubase crashed two times when loading the 64bit version. Cubase 8 still supports 32 bit plugins though so it was no bother.

Some cool patches there. I've been sleeping on this synth and meaning to do a few patches myself. Excellent mid to late eighties boogie feel with this synth.
Did you know that this synth can use wavetables formatted for Blofeld? Pretty sure that means you can load Micro Q wavetables too. WIll get back and tell you if that's the case. Thanks for the free patches.

But regarding installation, do i just put the patches file on the same folder of the vst?
Maybe im doing something wrong ? i downloaded the new patches went to whispair ,add programs but when i try to import it says can't load or something like that

You don't "install" them. Usually you simply load them into the VSTi. From what I see there is a "menu" button underneath the program display area of the "CONTROL SECTION". Maybe it's done from there...? (just speculating...haven't used it myself yet)
Im new to sound design, and your videos are amazing i have to say 🙏 im particularly try to receate the very first synth from charlie puth”s “cheating on you”, and if possible can you please help to mimick that with any of the free synth ? Thank you so much 💕
It's a fairly common sound. I'd go with a VST or synth that has an 24 dB filter. Set the cutoff quite low and the amount quite high, or vice versa. Choose a sawtooth waveform. Make sure you have portamento. You can use two oscillators to fatten up the sound. And then you need to add a bit of reverb to make it sound like on that song. Here are two examples. I replicated the sound here with two different free VSTs (Charlatan and Synth1). As you see the settigs are a bit different on those two, and that's because the filters and the envelopes are different on each synth so you have to use your ear to get the right sound:
