One of my major goals in 2024 is to get more organized with my workstation. That includes a new desk, new chair, new microphone, new laptop stand, and now thanks to the team at TobenOne, a new amazing dock to connect my Republic of Gamer's laptop to. Getting connected was a snap. I simply connected the power cable to the brick, plugged the brick into the dock, and connected my USB and HDMI cables. While there was a note to download specific display adapters, my Republic of Gamers Windows 11 laptop handled the TobenONE dock without any issues. From here I was able to be super productive, connecting to both my Innoview and Samsung external monitors. While I didn't show it, I also connected another monitor, a KYY Portable monitor I've featured in one of our UA-cam Shorts, and it worked perfectly too.

Should You Buy One?
I'm always looking to streamline my connection, and using a laptop vs a desktop often leaves me with fewer connections and ports than I'd prefer. For me, this makes editing, Photoshop, and streaming so much easier. I can have my working files on one screen, the software (Photoshop, Vegas, OBS) open in another window, and use the main display for other things. It has truly made my setup so much better, especially with transferring data on and off of both regular and micro SD Cards.
The TobenONE dock is amazing, easily on of the best I've ever tested. My biggest functional complaint is I wish there were more USB-A Connections in the back for my RocWare RC20 Camera, but that's a use-case issue. This is a fantastic docking station and my go-to solution moving forward. Thanks to TobenONE for sending us this unit for evaluation!
