It’s funny how the league and fans have devalued the running back position. At the end of every year, it always comes back to the running game lol. Players like Pacheco break your hearts year after year, yet y’all worship Quarterbacks and Receivers. When your favorite team needs the ball back, it’s 1 & 10, and your team cannot STOP THE RUN! #GOCHIEFS
Run schemes win games, and defense wins championships. And every single year those players are always the least valued. I really hope Blake Corum entering the league changes that.
Pacheco makes $987,000 before bonuses. You want to pay Pacheco a Million or saquon 10,000,000. That’s the whole point. You don’t need to pay running backs when a dude making a mill is doing his thang
They haven't devalued running backs. The difference between elite running backs and just good running backs isn't near the difference between elite QB's and good QB's or elite receivers vs good receivers. You can have serviceable running backs and still win while having a committee like the Chiefs had before Pacheco. The difference in this game came down to QB play and the Oline vs Dline. KC's D-line stiffed up and started shutting down the run game Buffalo had late in the game. Meanwhile, KC was driving the ball at will throughout the game, especially on the ground.
All in all, I'm proud of the Bills because they've basically been in the playoffs for the last month and half and proved to be incredibly resilient and never quit on themselves when the odds were against them to even just make the playoffs
If the Bills beat the Broncos, the Bengals, the Jaguars, and the Jets season opener), and the Patriots (at the Patriots’ home game) as the stink teams, the Bills would have the number one seed. Thanks a lot to those teams.
Don't coaches emphasize situational awareness. Greenlaw should have stayed down yesterday after his interception instead of risking a fumble. Today Conner with the Chiefs could have jumped on Allen's fumble instead of trying to pick it up & Hardman tried to reach the ball over the goal ON FIRST DOWN as he was being tackled from the one & lost it. Chiefs could have locked it up early if Connor & Hardman weren't trying to do something that the situation didn't call for.
Why? What the hell did they do to you? Do you genuinely enjoy rooting against a team that lost four superbowls and missed the playoffs for over 15 years straight, yet the second they make the playoffs you hate them? You’re proud of that?
Mahomes getting a 91,2 qbr 131,6 passer rating and averaging over 9 yards. Chiefs are just so comfortable and experienced in playoffs, that it's hard to beat them. With this performance I also see a chance against the ravens.
I totally agree I was telling somebody this same thing during playoffs and championship you could literally have a better team then the chiefs but they are so use to these kinda moments where they are better then what they look on paper they proved it beating the eagles last year eagles was a better team mahomes it’s workin with average receivers and still gets it done I got them beating the ravens
Fr. Even if Tyler Bass made that, Chiefs still probably march down and kick game-winning FG. Bills just straught up wasted a golden opportunity while having all the pieces in place to finish the job
They all counted the chiefs out? Who the hell counted them out? They had three or four game stretch where they weren't themselves, but nobody counted them out.
it was the CHIP and MAGNETI and made the FIELD GOAL looks BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM or BEND IT like LIONEL MESSI.. Or in Baseball TERMS it was CURB FIELD GOAL>
This game was so intense in the fourth. Bills had every opportunity to win this game. They should have honestly go for it on fourth down. That missed FG really hurts them.
Even though I’m a Chiefs fan born and raised in KC I absolutely respect Josh Allen and the bills. It’s such a treat to watch these two teams play. Nail biter every time.
It just comes down to the Fact that the Bills play great until it matters the most. Then they get the Deer in the headlight effect going. Chiefs were Strong, then went soft in this season. The Chiefs play their Best when it matters most. That's the difference in these 2 teams.
Do you also see what I see.. on 2 and 9 your logic should be high percentage completions and runs for first downs, sustained drive, run out clock to zero give Mahomes zero time before scoring. It's been there for that all game and yet Mr. Allen chooses to make it a choke finish to his season with his long TD pass attempt to Sherfield?!? such a waste of game to see it finish like this. It defies all logic.

As a bills fan i always have to give credit to the cheifs, there one hell of a team, one day it will go the bills way. good luck on the rest of ur season.
Romo is doing the economically viable thing. The NFL learned with Brady that it is more profitable to have 31 fan bases hate 1 fan base than to have a bunch of intradivisional rivalries (Falcons-Saints, Raiders-Chiefs, Bengals-Steelers, Browns-Ravens, Packers-Bears, 49ers-Seahawks....) or intraconference rivalries (Packers-49ers, Colts-Patriots, Bills-Chiefs). In*ter*divisional rivalries come up far less frequently unless both teams are the best in their division. In*ter* conference rivalries are barely worth mentioning. Instead of a few games a year where fans get invested, *every* week there is fan engagement to hope their team (or any other) team knocks off the heel. This way, unless the "no-good, dirty, rotten, cheating" team has a bye, more eyes are watching advertisements and hoping they lose. That's good for business. Ever since it was announced Hochuli was officiating this game, I was telling people it would be 3 points or OT and come down to the final play. That's why Hochuli and Cheffers are always officiating the heavy interest (and heavy betting) games. Regardless who wins or loses, keep it close so either team can win in the end. Had Bass made that field goal with time for a KC drive, that is *exactly* how it would have played out. I got a little off topic, but ALL of America was rooting for the Bills because they are simply tired of hearing about the Chiefs. Romo is just keeping his bread butter-side up because he reads the room.
7:46 this is the EXACT same Bills play that led to that first Gabe Davis TD from the divisional 2 years ago...and with the EXACT same amount of time on the clock too.
As a new resident of Buffalo and Northtowns I’m a new Bills fan biased only because I’m rooting for the local team. Ah I think Mahomes is a legend and I can’t wait for this saga of a rivalry to keep going until the Bills win this far into an NFL season. Honestly always say it that I’ve walked into games on TV screens that are other teams playing. Always the Bills game feel more like a glamorous shiny football game, real clean, real easy for everyone in the family to follow. If you’re in Buffalo you all should just leave Tyler Bass alone until next year it’s been a tough year but at least you weren’t the dude that took acid at the new stadium construction. Love. Much love to the Buffalo Bills.
Allen needs to learn to use the clutch...he will never break through and justify being a top 5 QB without learning it. Brady, Manning, Stafford, Mahomes, Burrow, Rodgers to name a few have had that clutch gene. This is 3 times now he's blown it
As a lifelong Bills fan, this was a MAJOR heartbreaker. To go from not having a shot at the playoffs one week, then making Divisionals only a few weeks later was a trip. We played well, but the Chiefs played better. It was definitely an interesting game to watch. The Bills may not have won, but as I said be fore, WE MADE DIVISIONALS. Not too shabby. Wishing the Chiefs luck against the Ravens. They're gonna need it.
The Chiefs were not just the Mahomes show last season. They were a gritty team and had play makers on both sides of the ball. If they can stay healthy, they have a good chance at the 3 peat for sure
As a Chiefs fan I've grown to appreciate our now growing rivalry with the Bills and Josh Allen. The dude deserves a lot more credit than he's been given the past season. The way both teams fought for the win is what makes being a fan worth the experience. If John Madden was alive and calling the game he'd tell you, "That's good football!"
@@Ineedrentmoney Here’s the thing: Regular season, Bills win all the time. Postseason, it’s the Chiefs time to shine. Given their win/loss record against each other, it *is* a rivalry. However, the postseason games matter the most, and even though they’ve been close the past two times, the Chiefs have won the three most recent matchups against the Bills in the playoffs. That said, regular season wins could matter if it affects seating or decides whether or not a team has a good enough record to make the postseason. Basically, it’s sort of a rivalry, but sort of not, either.
Downfall? With Diggs gone the Bills will get better now that they can actually spread out their offensive game plan and utilize their tight ends and running game more.

Everyone hates the Chiefs. Everyone will enjoy seeing those self-entitled, diaper-wearing, play-off-ruining crybabies get curb-stomped next week by the Ravens.
For a lot of people though, it's not even so much a meltdown over the Chiefs themselves winning in the playoffs. It's just incredibly infuriating seeing a tortured franchise like the Bills keep failing to redeem themselves despite countless golden opportunities
all season long, buffalo played great for the first 3 quarters.....but in the fourth quarter they always come unraveled and play like a grade 5 football team !!!!
2nd-9 Diggs was open you be conservative and throw to him for a short gain and keep the clock running. 3rd-9 you again have guys open short of the first. Just get it to them and hope for the best. You at least keep the clock running and you have a shorter field goal. But nope. Gotta try and be a hero.

mahomes is truly one of a kind. this is arguably his least talented team ever, and he has them in the afc championship game anyway, same as every year. ppl used to say never bet against brady, i think at this point mahomes has to be viewed in that light as well. 13-3 in the playoffs is easily the best start of any quarterback ever. even brady wasnt this good to start his career, he got better with age. maybe mahomes will do the same
The bills broke Kansas City's heart in the 90s robbed us of at least probably one Super Bowl appearance it's not our fault you guys never closed out the deal. Hate Buffalo always will
That wasn't a crazy ending. Chiefs had the lead, looked comfortable and Bills missed a chance to take it in OT. Josh Allen is an incredible QB, but Mahomes just finds a way to win all the time. The Kelce TD was pure strength and skill.
Excellent game plan until the final 2 minutes. 2nd and 9 and you pass the ball? WTF are you thinking? You run the ball and get closer while taking time off the clock. Same with 3rd down! You try for a first down to eat up the clock and then FG when closer. I don't think I have ever seen a good team like Buffalo mismanage the clock at the end of a game like they do.
Someday a coach will realize that running the ball isn't the only way to move the clock. Roll out the QB and get a short completion if it's there, and have QB keep the ball if the throw isn't there

I don’t care if the chiefs ever go 9-8 in the season I’ll never doubt them
Thanks NFL, for this video. I got to relive one of the most heartbreaking moments I have ever experienced as a Buffalo Bills fan. Thanks!
Good!!
The Bills marched down the field with a time chomping winning TD in mind when the suddenly remembered that they were the Bills.
Haha lol😂
Omg, lmao😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol they shouldn't have even gotten past midfield 😂😂
Omg lol
It’s funny how the league and fans have devalued the running back position. At the end of every year, it always comes back to the running game lol. Players like Pacheco break your hearts year after year, yet y’all worship Quarterbacks and Receivers. When your favorite team needs the ball back, it’s 1 & 10, and your team cannot STOP THE RUN! #GOCHIEFS
It’s been so fun to root for Pacheco these last 2 years
Run schemes win games, and defense wins championships.
The running _game_ can be important, but the _back_ almost never is. Plug any professional back into a good running game and it stays good
They haven't devalued running backs.
Kicking FG is much more difficult than it looks.
Respect for all special team players.
In the wind too...
🙄
😂😂😂😂😂
Ah yes keep making excuses for these millionaires who have one job.
So is brain surgery.
Mahomes dodging snowballs at the end to give souvenirs to Chiefs fan!
All in all, I'm proud of the Bills because they've basically been in the playoffs for the last month and half and proved to be incredibly resilient and never quit on themselves when the odds were against them to even just make the playoffs
And then choked when it mattered most in front of your home crowd
Proud loser
If the Bills beat the Broncos, the Bengals, the Jaguars, and the Jets season opener), and the Patriots (at the Patriots’ home game) as the stink teams, the Bills would have the number one seed. Thanks a lot to those teams.
@@theblakex No one likes or respects people like you I hope you know that
Don't coaches emphasize situational awareness.
Games like this show why kickers are so important
Yup
Actually they show why good QBs are important, then you wont have to have it come down to a kicker in windy conditions.

Watching the Bills choke brings a tear to my eye......a tear of pure joy and bliss.
Why? What the hell did they do to you? Do you genuinely enjoy rooting against a team that lost four superbowls and missed the playoffs for over 15 years straight, yet the second they make the playoffs you hate them? You’re proud of that?
"Was that a little excessive, Gene????" You can tell in Jim Nantz's voice he was rooting for the Bills🤣🤣
Mahomes getting a 91,2 qbr 131,6 passer rating and averaging over 9 yards. Chiefs are just so comfortable and experienced in playoffs, that it's hard to beat them. With this performance I also see a chance against the ravens.
The playoffs are KC's "regular season."
That last throw Josh Allen made for the touchdown instead of giving it to Diggs for the first down was when I knew they lost
Yep! Pathetic!
Did yall NOT see Diggs drop the BOMB.
Fr. Even if Tyler Bass made that, Chiefs still probably march down and kick game-winning FG. Bills just straught up wasted a golden opportunity while having all the pieces in place to finish the job
Yessir, greed. Take what’s available instead of forcing things
He was hoping for a PI call. Brady loved using it.
The fact I’m hearing a football player was “a little aggressive” hurts my soul
Hahahaha
When QBs have long runs, i wonder how many yards come from the defenders being scared to touch them, hoping they slide
Is that an insider’s way of saying “well that was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty “???

They all counted the Cheifs out during the regular season, not knowing that once they make the playoffs they are a different team.
It's still surreal reading comments like this. I was a fan when the Chiefs were famous for losing home playoff games
The only switch that got flipped was the Bills defense.
@@muskyoxes me too

@@MrChacedjare you stupid? Literally watch any sports segment before this game. 1/4 or 1/5 would pick the chiefs to win.

@@martinaguiler3976 Yeah, I've been, more and more, suspicious of how kicking balls ZOOM at the uprights, more and more, as the technology advances.
What was the first one?
This game was so intense in the fourth. Bills had every opportunity to win this game. They should have honestly go for it on fourth down. That missed FG really hurts them.
That missed FG was a merciful end. We all know if he made it, Chiefs were just gonna drive down and win it with their own kick anyway. Lol
well of course you say that after you know the outcome. had they gone and didnt convert you would say they should have kicked.
@@tas4092 Dude we literally have years of evidence that Mahomes would absolutely do that. 1:50 or whatever is an eternity for him

Even if they had scored a TD, KC would have come back to get another TD since there was plenty of time.
Even though I’m a Chiefs fan born and raised in KC I absolutely respect Josh Allen and the bills. It’s such a treat to watch these two teams play. Nail biter every time.
Youre the first chiefs fan I’ve seen be actually sportsmanlike and respectful in this comment section. I respect that.
It just comes down to the Fact that the Bills play great until it matters the most. Then they get the Deer in the headlight effect going. Chiefs were Strong, then went soft in this season. The Chiefs play their Best when it matters most. That's the difference in these 2 teams.
Dude crying must of put up a 2nd mortgage on his home to bet on the game 😂
Diggs was open on 2nd & 9. Kincaid was open on 3rd & 9. Josh just cannot resist the urge to play hero ball lol
@@2000ibelieve honestly he should just be glad KC didn't fall on that fumble like they should have instead of going for the scoop. Half of America would be saying he cost them the game with another brutal turnover.

My heart is still in my throat after that game. It's on to the Sixth straight AFC game. Commiserations to the bills and Josh Allen.
Feeling like Bills are the early 2000’s Colts and Chiefs are the early 2000’s Patriots
Would you say the Buffalo defense is bad?
Colts in retrospect had good defenses in the mid to late 2000’s, but were pretty bad earlier in the decade.

Well, another lost for ROMO
I know ROMO always talks smack on the chiefs lol
lol he swore it wasn’t a missed throw and that chris jones hit him. shows the replay and chris jones never even touched him. 💀

As a new resident of Buffalo and Northtowns I’m a new Bills fan biased only because I’m rooting for the local team. Ah I think Mahomes is a legend and I can’t wait for this saga of a rivalry to keep going until the Bills win this far into an NFL season. The Buffalo Bills: A Legacy of Failure
Bills are a formidable opponent. They challenge us to be better every time we meet. I look forward to the next one.

Here’s the thing:
Regular season, Bills win all the time.
And as a Chiefs fan you know it's all rigged and it just happens to be your turn.
The Chiefs and the Bills reminded me of the Chicago Bulls ll and the New York Knicks. In the 90s.
As a Patriots fan, this made me very happy.
Hell yeah Chiefs!! 😎👍🏽
I HATE YOU, but, Go Bills !!!
As someone who grew up in upstate NY, this ending is a pretty good representation of what it was like to live there 😂
If Stefon diggs didn’t request a trade then, he definitely is now. The downfall of the bills has commenced
nah diggs should have caught that
diggs never shows up when it matters. Trade him. who cares. Allen tries to force him the ball so he doesn't cry on the sidelines and it costs them.
I agree. It’s time Bills went into a boring state for a few years and think about it some more instead of trying to do something they will never do.
honestly i would trade him after this year because of money. get a younger guy@@goombasmasher6194
Downfall? With Diggs gone the Bills will get better now that they can actually spread out their offensive game plan and utilize their tight ends and running game more.

I was nervous as hell all game, we've been on the other side of that hill for so long with Manning and Brady. It was a great game against legendary competition!
Does anyone recall the 70 yd bomb that Allen threw perfectly to Diggs and bounces off his hands??????? He catches that, Bills score... and win! Bills need to get Allen Devante Adams or Metcalf!!! Can you imagine? Bills would be unbeatable with their great QB.

all season long, buffalo played great for the first 3 quarters.....but in the fourth quarter they always come unraveled and play like a grade 5 football team !!!!
2nd-9 Diggs was open you be conservative and throw to him for a short gain and keep the clock running. 3rd-9 you again have guys open short of the first. Just get it to them and hope for the best. Almost as bad as mahomes was crying after losing to the bills in the regular season. Almost
I blame Allen for this loss. So dumb to go to the end zone twice like that. He had guys open on both downs that could've moved the ball closer snd get a new set of downs. And in the mean time run out the clock. If he would've thrown for a touchdown there would've been a lot of time for the Chiefs to score. They always do in these situations. Josh Allen loss this game for the Bills fans
someone with some sense.
mahomes is truly one of a kind. this is arguably his least talented team ever, and he has them in the afc championship game anyway, same as every year. ppl used to say never bet against brady, i think at this point mahomes has to be viewed in that light as well. 13-3 in the playoffs is easily the best start of any quarterback ever. even brady wasnt this good to start his career, he got better with age. maybe mahomes will do the same
Mahomes is a crybaby who is pampered by refs and NFL
Chiefs get all the calls huh? Is that why they are one of the most penalized teams in the NFL?
And ur a crybaby too
The bills broke Kansas City's heart in the 90s robbed us of at least probably one Super Bowl appearance it's not our fault you guys never closed out the deal.
