As both a K-State and KC fan, I will never get tired of listening to Mitch Holthus call games for the Chiefs as he once did for the Cats. Hearing him call King Felix's big play was especially heartwarming!

I don't get why people, including Mitch here, are saying that if the overtime rules had not changed, the Chiefs would not have won. The 49ers only scored a field goal. Even under the old rules, the Chiefs would have had a chance to posses the ball. Now, in the regular season, the 10 minute period would have run out and the Chiefs would have lost because of that, but I'm pretty sure that even under the old playoff rules, it was 15 minute periods. Am I missing something?
Watching that last play by KC with Mahomes hitting Hardman for the SB title is heavenly, and worth watching over and over. And listening to the radio announcer calling the action makes the footage so electrifying.
