I have this car. It’s a good car for us Americans because it’s the perfect amount of fast/fun without being too fast/fun. I considered getting other models but what’s the point if you can’t drive it around without breaking the law with a push of the pedal.

@@aristoadricaprio6759 Nah, the 2er Gran Coupe is one of the best one's of the new generation. Unlike the 1er F40 and 4er which is total failure visually.
The 3-Series and 5-Series are pretty nice, though the very new 5-Series headlights are too much of a Volkwagen line-up, sadly the traditional BMW Halos are gone for generic L-shaped headlights...
It needed to have the 6 cylinder sound this one sounds like a polo

@@PDriveTV That's actually what I'm asking cuz I've looked at a dozen other reviews on the sound of the M235i on UA-cam and basically ALL of them lack the pops and bangs COMPLETELY. Or it is just like on the older F20 1-Series where you get little pops and bangs for the first 20s after starting and then they are gone?
Generally people suggest this is an ugly BMW but I actually like it. Except it's too expensive 😒
I own This car and i Love ist. The Heck Looks like the one of the X4 or X6 and they are not hated.

Road is around 400m. Temperature was 17 degrees Celsius during this test.

If this is stock then my one must be broken as mine sounds nothing like that. Maybe different in UK? Either way I get 0 flap and flutter no matter how hard I drive it.

The exhaust on this car sounds insane when you rev it. It’s a loud and refined note. It will pop so loud that the neighbors can hear when you rev it in neutral with sport mode engaged
It's not a hot hatch mate - it is a sedan - its has a boot or trunk depending on language.
Correct. I just meant it is based on the same platform as the M135i hatch. Same powertrain etc.
I wish they’d put this engine in the 3 series and call it the 335i. It’d be a nice gap between the 330i & the 340i.

That's a great idea. This engine definitely has plenty of torque to support the 3 Series size/weight. We haven't heard anything official but we'll keep an eye out.

0:52 - why does the M Performance Pack feature downsized 18 inch wheels? extremely interesting by BMW there
M Performance comes with 19" standard as he said, for some reason this one had 18" fitted, that would be the better choice IMO. Typically big wheels are for show, a smaller rolling radius results in better performance (assuming the gearing remains the same). Also, smaller wheels and tyres are also lighter.

We do 0-200km/h in cars that can achieve 0-100 in under 5.0 seconds - we start to run out of road otherwise.

Its the German governments fault, they have emission goals, so bmw mercedes vw... Have to cut everything down till they reach the goal value of emissions, but I don't understand why they are not able to still provide good sounding cars, there are enough tricks to make a car sound better, ou wait, the government did even set decibel goals, they shouldnt be so loud 🔊 cool thanks 👍

Definitely a win for the competition. The A3 Limo, CLA and A-Class Limo are miles ahead, not even design-wise.

A new car has to bee controversial at the first time. Only in this way will the car still look modern in a few years.
Most of the controversial designs become very popular later. When the design is immediately pleasing, it looks old-fashioned very quickly.
When BMW presented the BMW 3 series e36 at the IAA in Frankfurt in the early 1990s, there were many nasty voices and a lot of criticism.
Today this car is considered an absolute design icon and still looks relatively modern
