Defeating Adventism

  • This video is an official Seventh-day Adventist interview video of a conversion of a Seventh-day Adventist General Conference employee to Adventism. This is not a conversion to Christianity, but to Adventism. I have had an interest in watching UA-cam Adventist videos of testimonies and in nearly each and every case, there is a testimony not of becoming a Christian with a telling of the Born-Again experience, repentance, recognition of the Christ of the bible, etc. but in Adventism there is a testimony of quitting smoking and drinking, as though that is the evidence of conversion.
Adventism has for over 150 years made Adventists, not Christians. The Seventh-day Adventist church is not a Christian church.

Question for SDAs: Do you agree with Ellen White's teaching in the Great Controversy that the Jesus SDAs worship was and is incapable of atoning for sin of any kind by his death on Calvary?

Jesus has given us an example of pity and love for the erring. While he reproved sin, he regarded the sinner with compassion. 👉Looking to the cross of Calvary, where Christ poured out his life to atone for our sins,👈 let us recall his words, "Love one another, as I have loved you." I still have a “remnant study Bible” with the EGW quotes, I don’t have the heart to throw it in the trash since the Bible is there too. When speaking to SDAs it is often best to skip to the end of their theology. They like to stay in the weeds and go back to the sabbath as their security blanket. That is a comfortable place for them. The end of the matter is they subscribe to a system that keeps their sins in play. Traditional Christianity says the problem of sin was solved at the cross. SDAs say the cross transferred sins to the heavenly sanctuary. There the sins remain until a person is found worthy to have them transferred to Satan. That is very sketchy. It changes the equation from Jesus alone to Jesus + worthiness + Satan. The founders of SDA were literally so in love with their sin of date setting, that after being proved wrong twice, they preferred to change the gospel parameters rather than repent. The founders of SDA exhibited an amazing amount of spiritual stubbornness that still animates the movement to this day.

of sin, upon whom the sins of the truly penitent will finally be placed. When the high
priest, by virtue of the blood of the sin-offering, removed the sins from the sanctuary,
he placed them upon the scape-goat. When Christ, by virtue of his own blood, removes
the sins of his people from the heavenly sanctuary at the close of his ministration, he
will place them upon Satan, who, in the execution of the judgment, must bear the final
      penalty."
Reading through this in the Great Controversy, it does indicate that the sin problem was solved by Christ. It simply follows the symbolism of the mechanics of the ancient sin sacrifice ritual. Naturally, Christ is the one that is portrayed as worthy to transfer those sins of ours to Satan, the original author of sin, which, through Christ's own sacrifice, he relieved us from the penalty of by taking them upon himself.
However, our continued salvation is not contingent on his bearing those sins on his own shoulders for eternity. His worthiness to transfer those sins to Satan and the workings of His process of it are assured, and are not our problem to contend with. The concept of this does not suggest that salvation has anything to do with works on our part.

We see "bear" in the verses you cited as being translated from Greek and Hebrew words which convey the meaning of to carry/take from one point to another; most notably, as mentioned in Strong's #399 for the Greek anaphérō used in Hebrews 9:28 the usage of "(a) I carry up, lead up, (b) I offer up (on a high altar) as a sacrifice, offer up to God on high." That would, after all, be the duty of a high priest of the temple. That priest performs the process of disposing of the sin; he does not carry the sins indefinitely. He transfers the punishment for the sins to the sacrificial animal, does he not?
Hebrews 9:28 Strong's #399 anaphérō (a) I carry up, lead up, (b) I offer up (on a high altar) as a sacrifice, offer up to God on high [see also HELPS Word-studies:(from 303 /aná, "up" and 5342 /phérō, "bring, carry") - properly, bring up to the goal (end point), i.e. carrying something through its sequence to reach its needed consummation
      1 Peter 2:24 Strong's #941 bastazó (a) I carry, bear, (b) I carry (take) away.
      Matthew 8:17 Strong's #941 bastazó (a) I carry, bear, (b) I carry (take) away.
Isaiah 53:4 Strong's #5375 nasa or nasah to lift, carry, take
Isaiah 53:11 Strong's 5445. sabal to bear (a heavy load)
Isaiah 53:12 Strong's #5375 nasa or nasah to lift, carry, take
What Satan would do in this context is not "bear" the sins as Christ has but, rather, _suffer the penalty of eternal death for sin_ . Despite that Christ was able to die, and yet live, in order to fulfill that penalty on our behalf, Satan after having these sins put upon him would theoretically eternally suffer death, which is what seems will ultimately come to pass as recorded in Revelation 20:10 "10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The Adversary is not unwise. He knows how to use the wicked both in and out of religion. A question becomes, how does one square the fact that people can change from drug use and a completely ungodly life and then become a member of a cult and still their life is turned around. We hear these things every day, in the JW's the Adventists, the Mormons and many other cults. But, how can some of these blasphemous and outrageous cults have people in them that give God the credit for their changed lives, be so evil? How does one reason these things out. They give God the credit for changing their lives, but at the same time curse the Christian God to create their own in His place. We find this every strange religion and bizarre professing Christian groups. In 2Corinthians 11, we find Paul warning of the Judaizers making "a false christ, and different christ, with a different gospel and different spirit" than the true God, he presented to them. We find those that "draw away followers after themselves" but still they are religions. How does one understand these things. How do we answer healings and changes that seem to validify the cults? The answer is found in the lesson below.
*Christ warned that many false prophets would come and deceive many.* And, like the Mormons, the Adventist's refuse to believe it could happen to them. So, they shut their eyes and blindly go to hell at death.
*The Adversary is not unwise. He knows how to use the wicked both in and out of religion*. *Learn the lesson from Mt. **12:43**-45* So often, people wish to repent and please God by their new way of life. They leave the old self and their house is made clean. But then comes another spirit, that deceives the poor man and he finds himself involved in a cult, convincing himself is he now free from harm and doing the will of God as the cult tells him they have the *"spirit of prophecy" and repeatedly, even that he is *"keeping the 10 commandments and has the faith of Jesus Christ"* but from this cult comes 7 more demons more wicked than the first and the last state is worse the first.
Mt. 12: 43 "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation."
The people's way of life changed, but in the end, they are still in the bondage of sin and their conversion starting off went off the rails due to the work of the cults, and not finding the true Church, the joined in slandering the Church Christ instituted and pretending that Christ had hopped over to their cult. They went from one set of bad habits to a entirely different set of horrible habits under the guise of being Christian. And, the end is worse than the beginning. Because, now they are using the bible to destroy the faith of others, including themselves, using the sacred scripture to do it. Don't be surprised if they claim prophecies, healings, dreams and visions, all of which Christ warned his church the wicked would do. As it is written in 2Tim. 3:13 *But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived* .

@@nonconformist4802 Not an SDA myself, but, to address the point made:
Jesus' own cited greatest commandments, to love God and to love your neighbor, are confirmed in scripture as summarizing the 10 commandments of Yahweh.
"...On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets" (Matthew 22:36-40)
"For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' 'You shall not covet,' and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying , namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Romans 13:9).
Having been given in that statement sufficient information, we only need to apply logic and common sense to understand that the remainder of the ten commandments fall under the category of one or the other of Jesus' two great commandments. The ten commandments still stand in defining how to love God and our neighbor, lest we should devise our own definitions.
Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." (John 14:15)
John makes clear that the commandments of God which we should keep are the same as Jesus' commandments: "1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments . 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments."
Now, as for the 4th commandment, it is the only one of the ten which actually identifies Yahweh, the One True God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and rested on the seventh, declaring the 7th day (Saturday) as sanctified as a sign of his sovereignty between Him and his people, who issued the ten commandments and under whose authority we follow them.
WIthout acknowledging this identification of Yahweh for who he is, we can just as readily follow the other nine commandments under some other authority: Even the secular government has laws against murder and theft, after all.
However, the threat that is of concern to Christians is not the secular authority, per se, but rather the dictates of Antichrist enforced through the secular authority under his control. It is not an insignificant coincidence that the early Protestants identified the Roman Catholic Papacy as the Antichrist and Man of Sin and that it was the Roman Catholic Papacy who officially changed the day of worship of the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday, that "venerable day of the Sun", as Constantine said when he declared it the day of rest in the Holy Roman Empire. The day was "venerable" because on that day the Roman pagans worshipped "Sol", the Sun god, also known as Helios and _Apollo_ , which is the same named _Apollyon_ described in Revelation as the king of the abyss from which the spirit of the Antichrist ascends. The Roman Catholic Church maintains a form of Sun/Moon worship under the veil of Christianity.
This does not mean that those who worship on Sunday until now have taken the mark of the beast. It will not become the mark until it is defined as an act which denies God and constitutes the worship of another in His stead.

@@TeeG-er3ehThe Whore of Babylon is referring to Apostate Jerusalem in the 1st century before it’s destruction by the Romans. That’s why Apocalypse 17:16 says, “And the ten horns which thou sawest in the Beast: these shall hate the Harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her with fire.”
According to Leviticus 21:9, the punishment for a priest’s daughter who defiles herself by prostitution is burning by fire. Jerusalem prostituted herself with the kings of the earth, part of why Jesus threw out the money lenders from the Temple.
And Jeremiah 6:2 says, “I have likened the daughter of Sion to a beautiful and delicate woman.”
If the Whore is the Catholic Church then who is the Beast that the Whore rides on that eventually kills her??
The Beast is the Pagan Roman Empire and the ten horns represent the Ten Emperors of Rome before Jerusalem’s destruction in AD 70:
      1. Julius Cæsar
      2. Cæsar Augustus
      3. Tiberius

      8. Otho
      9. Vitellius
      10. Vespasian
According to Apocalypse 17:6 & 18:24, the Whore is “drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.”… “And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and if all that were slain upon the earth.”
Compare to Matthew 23:37, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered together thy children… and thou wouldest not?”

Will we know the exact day and hour of Christ's second coming?

BIBLE: NO Matt 25:13 Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

And before you say she did not contradict because God never said it was permanent or the the correct translation for the word know is “make known” so there for God revealed to her the day and the hour you will need to explain this straight from the 28 fundamental beliefs.
Belief 25 read the very last sentence, that says the time of this event has not been revealed yet. How is your church not in line with your prophet?
BELIEF 25: THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Saviour’s coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy, together with the present condition of the world, indicates that Christ’s coming is near. The time of that event has not been revealed, and we are therefore exhorted to be ready at all times. (Matt. 24; Mark 13; Luke 21; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 5:1-6; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; 2:8; 2 Tim. 3:1-5; Titus 2:13; Heb. 9:28; Rev. 1:7; 14:14-20; 19:11-21.)

This opposition toward EGW is not new.
In fact, people will believe this even when its been debunked - even when a reasonable response has been provided.
Check this out for example: EGW begins on pg. 13 by saying "As God has shown me." So, before we even get to the quote in question, we must recognize these 5 words - as God has shown me.
(Did God show her? Did she lie about the vision? If EGW is God's messenger, why did He allow her to write this if it is a lie? Could this be an attack from Satan to deceive people? Do we really "know" what EGW meaning by "day" and "hour" of His coming and if so why does it contradict scripture? If you're going to blame EGW for what Canright wrote....then, you have to be consistent and blame God for what EGW wrote. Right?)
      The point?
God will never remove the possibility of doubt from us.
We, in prayerful study and guidance by the Holy Spirit, must determine what is true based on what has been revealed to us. Simply following a popular belief that "sounds" right isn't always for our benefit. Final answer? Seek guidance on the from God - lean not to your own understanding. I believe God gave her the vision. I believe that I will never know the details of what God showed her. I ain't losing any sleep over it b/c my salvation rests in Jesus - not EGW's vision.

    • @Jesus-alone
      @Jesus-alone 9 місяців тому

@@ineedrest7 To the point of do we know what Ellen meant by day and hour, yes we do, like you said that quote is from the day star in 1846, and she starts off by saying, “As God has shown me in holy vision” then she proceeds to talk about the vision in which God reveals to her the day and the hour like I put in the quote, then proceeds to talk about the coming of Christ and how she was alive when it happened. "Soon our eyes were drawn to the east, for a small black cloud had appeared, about half as large as a man's hand, which we all knew was the sign of Son of man.... Then there was a mighty earthquake. The graves opened, and the dead came up clothed with immortality. The 144,000 shouted, "Alleluia!" as they recognized their friends who had been torn from them by death, and in the same moment WE WERE CHANGED AND CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM to meet the Lord in the air", but if you don’t want to accept this as a second coming prophecy, I’ll will give this example and it’s not the only one, but even the SDA church admits it’s a failed prophecy of Jesus’ return.
“I was shown the company present at the Conference. Said the angel: “Some food for worms, [Sister Clarissa M. Bonfoey, who fell asleep in Jesus only three days after this vision was given, was present in usual health, and was deeply impressed that she was one who would go into the grave, and stated her convictions to others.] some subjects of the seven last plagues, some will be alive and remain upon the earth to be translated at the coming of Jesus.” 1T 131.3
So this was either 1855 or 1856 the church says 56, but it is found in testimony’s to the church 1855 so who knows. The church tries to cover this up by saying it’s a conditional prophecy. Then they use the book of Jonah where he tells Nineveh the city will be destroyed in 40 days. Then they repent and God doesn’t destroy them. So they say see there was a condition of unless you repent. Then they use the promise of the promise land to the Israelites and how they didn’t enter it and say see there was a condition of if you keep my commandments. And then they try to apply a condition to all of Ellen’s failed prophecies of Christ return by saying the free will of man effects the second coming of Christ because there wasn’t enough righteous people at that point, if all fails prophecies are considered conditional then Joesph Smith wasn’t a false prophet. Why would we hold God accountable for Ellen’s writing when they weren’t from God. You have to hold Ellen accountable for Canright because she was endorsing him. God was not endorsing Ellen because God does not make mistakes. By saying Ellen really was of God means either God lied to her, or God doesn’t even know the day and hour himself. Doesn’t make sense.

      1. I've researched EGW Failed Predictions and do not see this one listed. I did see the food for worms one (you mentioned it) and found it to be a myth that is easily debunked. People will either (by faith) believe what she saw/heard what she experienced. Or, they will not believe it. Simple as that. I try to avoid EGW stuff b/c people are very rarely searching - most of the time their mind is already made up. Either God used her or He didn't. God's got enough wisdom to answer that clearly - if a person is open to being taught in their study. Its real easy to believe an article of lies if you don't know the truth.
      2. The Great Disappointment of 1844 is well documented. Also, its the result of poor biblical interpretation. To my knowledge neither this vision nor the push for Jesus' return in 1844 were "predictions" by EGW. I believe she supported the believe that Jesus would return in 1844 (I believe she wrote something in response as well). I've decided a long time ago not to "debate" whether or not she is a true/false prophet. There is enough info. if a person chooses to believe it or doubt it - my hope is that if you are searching for truth in this area - search the scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit for clarity in your journey.

It would be more honest to examine the officially stated beliefs about salvation of a denomination from its own central, authoritative source.
Whereas, simply choosing a snippet of speech from a member of a denomination talking about the reasons for his being drawn to that denomination (versus others) and then treating that segment of speech, erroneously, as though it were meant to be an exposition of the denomination's doctrine on salvation, _critiquing it as though it were_ , then pointing out how it does not mention certain expected points of fundamental Christian doctrine on salvation and how it mentions other aspects of the denomination's beliefs, is not how a reasonable or fair assessment of what beliefs the denomination holds is made. Thank your for a typical Adventist comment which whines and complains, but does not include facts and data. But I am here to help.
Ellen White taught that Christ *did not die on the cross for a single sin* but only forgives sins in the Sanctuary of 1844.
“It is this coming, and not his second advent to the earth, that was foretold in prophecy to take place at the termination of the 2300 days, *in 1844.* Attended by heavenly angels, our great High Priest enters the holy of holies, and there appears in the presence of God, to engage in the last acts of his ministration in behalf of man,- *to perform the work of investigative Judgment, and to make an atonement* for all who are shown to be entitled to its benefits.”
White, Ellen. The Great Controversy. Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1888, p. 480
Then in another *Bog Book* she says the same thing:
“The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation of the law, *was not to cancel the sin; it would stand on the record in the sanctuary until the final atonement;* so in the type the blood of the sin-offering removed the sin from the penitent. But it rested in the sanctuary until the day of atonement.”
White, Ellen. “Patriarchs and Prophets” Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Company, 1890, p. 357
Now, do you agree with your so-called God inspired Spirit of Prophecy that Christ *did not die on the cross for the sins of mankind?* Are here teachings biblical or unbiblical?

“Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.”
“The field,” Christ said, “is the world.” But we must understand this as signifying the church of Christ in the world. The parable is a description of that which pertains to the kingdom of God, His work of salvation of men; and this work is accomplished through the church. True, the Holy Spirit has gone out into all the world; everywhere it is moving upon the hearts of men; but it is in the church that we are to grow and ripen for the garner of God.
“He that sowed the good seed is the Son of man.... The good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.” The good seed represents those who are born of the word of God, the truth. The tares represent a class who are the fruit or embodiment of error, of false principles. “The enemy that sowed them is the devil.” Neither God nor His angels ever sowed a seed that would produce a tare. The tares are always sown by Satan, the enemy of God and man.
In the East, men sometimes took revenge upon an enemy by strewing his newly sown fields with the seeds of some noxious weed that, while growing, closely resembled wheat. Springing up with the wheat, it injured the crop and brought trouble and loss to the owner of the field. So it is from enmity to Christ that Satan scatters his evil seed among the good grain of the kingdom. The fruit of his sowing he attributes to the Son of God. By bringing into the church those who bear Christ’s name while they deny His character, the wicked one causes that God shall be dishonored, the work of salvation misrepresented, and souls imperiled.
Christ’s servants are grieved as they see true and false believers mingled in the church. They long to do something to cleanse the church. Like the servants of the householder, they are ready to uproot the tares. But Christ says to them, “Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest.”
Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church, but He has not committed to us the work of judging character and motive. He knows our nature too well to entrust this work to us. Should we try to uproot from the church those whom we suppose to be spurious Christians, we should be sure to make mistakes. Often we regard as hopeless subjects the very ones whom Christ is drawing to Himself. Were we to deal with these souls according to our imperfect judgment, it would perhaps extinguish their last hope. Many who think themselves Christians will at last be found wanting. Many will be in heaven who their neighbors supposed would never enter there. Man judges from appearance, but God judges the heart. The tares and the wheat are to grow together until the harvest; and the harvest is the end of probationary time.
There is in the Saviour’s words another lesson, a lesson of wonderful forbearance and tender love. As the tares have their roots closely intertwined with those of the good grain, so false brethren in the church may be closely linked with true disciples. The real character of these pretended believers is not fully manifested. Were they to be separated from the church, others might be caused to stumble, who but for this would have remained steadfast.
The teaching of this parable is illustrated in God’s own dealing with men and angels. Satan is a deceiver. When he sinned in heaven, even the loyal angels did not fully discern his character. This was why God did not at once destroy Satan. Had He done so, the holy angels would not have perceived the justice and love of God. A doubt of God’s goodness would have been as evil seed that would yield the bitter fruit of sin and woe. Therefore the author of evil was spared, fully to develop his character. Through long ages God has borne the anguish of beholding the work of evil, He has given the infinite Gift of Calvary, rather than leave any to be deceived by the misrepresentations of the wicked one; for the tares could not be plucked up without danger of uprooting the precious grain. And shall we not be as forbearing toward our fellow men as the Lord of heaven and earth is toward Satan?
The world has no right to doubt the truth of Christianity because there are unworthy members in the church, nor should Christians become disheartened because of these false brethren. How was it with the early church? Ananias and Sapphira joined themselves to the disciples. Simon Magus was baptized. Demas, who forsook Paul, had been counted a believer. Judas Iscariot was numbered with the apostles. The Redeemer does not want to lose one soul; His experience with Judas is recorded to show His long patience with perverse human nature; and He bids us bear with it as He has borne. He has said that false brethren will be found in the church till the close of time.
Notwithstanding Christ’s warning, men have sought to uproot the tares. To punish those who were supposed to be evildoers, the church has had recourse to the civil power. Those who differed from the established doctrines have been imprisoned, put to torture and to death, at the instigation of men who claimed to be acting under the sanction of Christ. But it is the spirit of Satan, not the Spirit of Christ, that inspires such acts. This is Satan’s own method of bringing the world under his dominion. God has been misrepresented through the church by this way of dealing with those supposed to be heretics.
Not judgment and condemnation of others, but humility and distrust of self, is the teaching of Christ’s parable. Not all that is sown in the field is good grain. The fact that men are in the church does not prove them Christians.
The tares closely resembled the wheat while the blades were green; but when the field was white for the harvest, the worthless weeds bore no likeness to the wheat that bowed under the weight of its full, ripe heads. Sinners who make a pretension of piety mingle for a time with the true followers of Christ, and the semblance of Christianity is calculated to deceive many; but in the harvest of the world there will be no likeness between good and evil. Then those who have joined the church, but who have not joined Christ, will be manifest.
The tares are permitted to grow among the wheat, to have all the advantage of sun and shower; but in the time of harvest ye shall “return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not.” Malachi 3:18. Christ Himself will decide who are worthy to dwell with the family of heaven. He will judge every man according to his words and his works. Profession is as nothing in the scale. It is character that decides destiny.
The Saviour does not point forward to a time when all the tares become wheat. The wheat and tares grow together until the harvest, the end of the world. Then the tares are bound in bundles to be burned, and the wheat is gathered into the garner of God. “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” Then “the Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

James says: "Sincerity & niceness doesn't count very much in terms of Christian truth." The Holy Bible says: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Also, Christ says: "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” It seems that the "gospel" advocated here is somewhat incoherent. This leads me to ask: Does the beautiful message of love proclaimed by Jesus Christ still guide his followers to the path of harmony & safety? If so, why did millions of Evangelical Christians in 2016 & 2020 allow a wolf to become shepherd of the flock & to surrender the fate of American people to the mercy of the malicious? I humbly suggest that the reason may be the misunderstanding of the Gospel. I could be wrong, though.

I would guess from your understanding that Abraham, Isaac, Noah, Moses and all people of the Old Testament are doomed to hell since from my reading of the Old Testament, they in general did not acknowledge the Trinity. Moses, the Israelites were all known to be worshipper of One God, the I AM., not the trinity. I think it’s arrogant of any human being to think they have the true understanding of God to the point that if anyone else disagreed, then they are called heretical. This is nothing knew. In fact, I understand that The church persecuted, tortured, killed and fought wars over the nature of God in the name of God. Just because the Catholic Church prevailed doesn’t make them right. It also doesn’t make the decision made by the council of Nicaea right either. Even while the apostles were still alive, they referred to many heresies in the church. To say that the council of Nicaea had it all correct is presumptuous. As for me, when it comes to the trinity, I believe what the Bible says about it, no more, no less. If the precise understanding of the trinity was a requirement for salvation. I would like to think that Jesus would have said more on the topic and the apostles would have written more on the topic. It’s kind of silly for us that exist in the four dimensions to claim they understand the one not limited by dimensions. By the way, I guess by your reckoning, the apostles weren’t real Christians since they probably didn’t know how the trinity would be defined hundreds of years later. Sorry for the sarcasm but I think your hatred toward the SDA blinds you. Kind of like how liberals see everything conservatives do as wrong and vise Versa. You typed above regarding visions "If it isn't Ellen White then it is either satanic or your own man made version." I agree and Ellen White was Satanic with Satanic visions. Anyone who denies the work of Christ on the cross is Satanic and anti-chriost. Ellen White denied that Christ died on the cross for the sins of man and that makes her antichrist:
1 John 2:22 ESV Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
Ellen White and others taught this heretical teaching of Christ as shown below. This is only a small sample of all the quotes I have and they all teach in harmony which is Christ DID NOT die on the cross for the sins of man:
*“The blotting out of the sins of the righteous is the closing work of Christ as our Great High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary. It cannot be accomplished before, as this is the atonement and that is the closing act of the ministration of the priest.* This work we understand commenced at the close of the great prophetic period of 2,300 days in 1844.”
“Lesson for the Third Sabbath in April” Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 10 April 1883. p. 226
“The death of Christ and the atonement are not the same thing. And this relieves the matter of all difficulty. *Christ did not make atonement when he shed his blood upon the cross.* Let this fact be fixed forever in the mind.”
Smith, Uriah. “Looking Unto Jesus”. Battle Creek: Review and Herald Publishing Co., 1898, p. 237
You are free to accept the Christ created by Adventism in 1844 who did not die on the cross for anything, but if you do, there are eternal consequences:
Matthew 7:21-23 ESV "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (22) On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' (23) And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

The ordinances were the ones written by Moses but the immutable law was written in stone by the finger of God for which we will still be judged. She uplifts Christ you on the other hand like to take Christ out in this matter. The earthly was a type, a shadow, of the one who died and went to heaven to serve in the antitype, the heavenly sanctuary, where Christ is still serving and we are now in judgement hour, as of 1844 after the sanctuary was cleansed. It is you who hates the sanctuary message trying to destroy it. Faith and works go hand in hand, our faith and Christ work through each individual if we love him enough to keep His commandments. Salvation is based solely on faith in Jesus--His payment for our sins on the cross and His resurrection.
What is so sad, is that the person interviewed really thinks he was saved but never mentions forgiveness of sin, or that he needed forgiveness, or that Jesus paid the price of our sins so that those who believe will not perish but will have everlasting life. His remarks seem to me to be works based.

The great controversy teaches that Satan is the scapegoat. It's somewhere in the 400 pages. This is possibly the most anti-christianity statement anybody could make.
