1. Any medium weight yarn. 50g 5-6 balls
2. 3mm and 5mm hooks
3. Yarn needle
4. A pair of scissors

@@jackiemorris2316 the smaller hook is meant for working the waist so that it's not too big since we are working with the hip measurements

Why the hips measure for the waist instead of the waist measurement?

i just saw her reply on another comment that said we use the hip measurement for the waist and then attach drawstrings because it will definitely be loose, but it will also help the skirt to fit over your hips. i did see one video where she showed how to increase the hip as you go so that the skirt will fit
So that it can fit through the hips
When you increase as you go then you have to wear it over the shoulders

Could you please clear my doubt? If we take the Hip measurement for the waistband, will it be loose ?? Can we take the waistband measurement directly and slowly increase the pattern to the Hip measurement?
We take the hip measurements then attach a drawstring to the waistband coz it will definitely be loose. You cou also take the waist measurement and then do the increase on the hips but you'll need to make sure 5ge skirt can go over your shoulders

Can we increase or decrease fancy patterns on our own according to the measurements of our body. We can increase or decrease stitches like single, double, or triple crochet. I ask u this because, first am a beginner, Second I love certain fancy stitch patterns. Please spare some time to reply me. Is there any rule for increase or decrease?

The easiest way is not close your round from the beginning, then slip stitch the bulk of it together when it's the length you want. Hope this helps!

Yes you can use any hook since provided you take your measurements
