Jason, if you were building this on a exterior wall exposed to the elements, how would you butt the timber framing up against the side of the fireplace, how would you seal it?
Looks like fun love doing that kind of work however it was a few areas where there was stone put in where the height of the stone exceeds the length of the stone and I was taught by the old guys that’s a big no-no. I remember if I’ve ever done that they would’ve kick the wall over and ask what the fuck. You guys seem to be a little bit more forgiving.
