FLYING SCOTSMAN AT KWVR CELEBRATING IT'S 100th BIRTHDAY (4K UHD)

The legendary steam locomotive "Flying Scotsman", the first railway loco to achieve 100mph is officially 100 years old, and as part of it's celebrations in 2023 it recently visited the Keighley Worth valley Railway.
I spent 2 days filming the operations at all the stations along the line and here is my little film of the event . . .
We start at Haworth, where the loco was held overnight - seeing the engine being polished up, refuelled and mated with it's carriages and assistant locomotive.
Then it goes off on the short trip to the end of the line at Oxenhope with it's first passengers of the day.
After this the train is hauled by the assistant loco back down the line in reverse to Keighley.
Once changing passengers at Keighley it is full steam ahead along the full line from Keighley to Oxenhope.
In this video we also see the other operations going on at the railway - shunting and other services . . .
