You are entitled to your opinion because that all it is, however, the black college bands in the Meac are not one dimensional like many of those in the swac. The swac bands mainly focus mainly on which band plays songs the loudest and they exhibit this in their 5th quarter battles. When it comes to Meac bands that know how to put on show check out any clips of FAMU especially when the attended the JSU battle of the bands in 2003 or their halftime shows against SU or the BOTB in Alabama back in the day. You might also check out any clips Bethune Cookman especially when they came to the 2007 Rocket City BOTB in Alabama When you look at the HBOTB clips year after year, the Meac bands are always the most entertaining bands. Check out all the Honda clips of BCU, FAMU, SCSU, and NCAT. If I want to be entertained from beginning to end rather check for who plays a song the loudest, I will choose the show of one the Meac bands mentioned above every time.

Probably because of the band size.
all the good show bands are in the swac division(Jackson st, Southern, alabama AM) check them out especially Jackson State
Please crawl out from under that rock! There are several good bands other than in the SWAC. Bethune Cookman, NC A&T, Tenn. St, SC State, etc.
