Important: Shakes are disabled in this showcase as the recorder forgot to enable them in settings, it looks wayy cooler with the shakes.
Started on the 10th of June in 2020. Finished on the 10th of October in 2023.
After over 3 years of constantly developing this level, Amethyst, my biggest project in this game is finally done (formally known as The Amethyst). I started this level as a fun spin-off to one of my favorite levels at the time "The Golden" (NO THIS IS NOT A SEQUAL TO ANY LEVEL) and didn't expect to get this level to become this huge both for me and everyone.
Alot has happened within the past 3 years and 4 months, some ups and many downs which all led to this moment. Since hearing the release month of 2.2 back in August i did my absolute best to get this level finished before 2.2 which i barely have as it is few days away now.
This isn't the most perfect level as its been in development for half of 2.1 but i hope you enjoy the results. Furthermore the gameplay has not been balanced/changed yet and will be soon using the verifiers layout copy so don't use it to judge the difficulty. I also have another level which was supposed to come out in 2.1, some of you may know it but looks like it'll have to wait until 2.2 I also have more cool projects coming soon so be sure to not miss those by subscribing to my channel.

This has been in the making for 3 years so its not going to be the most perfect level you will see but any small feedback appreciated!
(Also i realised the white flash is a layer behind those black ground stuff at 1:38 so ill fix that also the recorder forgot to enable shakes so the video doesn't look as good as the actual level)

This level turned out to be one of the best decorated levels in the game imo. Fantastic job to everyone who was involved with the level and I can't wait to start verifying in 2.2!

This level has a come a very long way. I still remember the time when this level is supposed to be just a slightly better "The Golden" remake, but later evolved with improved gameplay and decoration. Decisions like these truly paid off in the long run. Good job to everyone who worked on this level.

Fun Fact: my part is inspired/based of by arax's first part and ji's drop part, would've been a more cohesive part within each other if its still in the level, i guess you can call my part a tribute of those 2 replaced parts ^^

Amazing job! The only thing I have to say is I think the old transition to the robot portal (2:01) fit more with the music, when it was a huge white flash in the shape of the portal

It is because people like to watch players beat hard stuff. Also top 1's are nearly always going to be more popular than Easy demons. I agree it'd be nice to have an easy to hard demon like this, but it would be infinitely less popular.
