The 5x test MUST only be carried out on RCDs with a trip ratings up to 30mA. The 5x test must not be carried out on RCDs with a trip rating of 100mA or greater.
Mark Gilder appendix 3 in BS7671 shows the results that must be achieved for a 5 times test on a 100mA RCD (and the 300 and 500) table 3A. But think depending if it's for fault protection, or additional protection directs which result you are interested in keeping for paper work, I would have thought.
I use a MFT1711. It does this 30 second delay like in this video. There is no explanation in the manual for the S type tests. I know it's for a time delay but can't find any explanation as to the reason it waits for 30 seconds until it starts the test.

You can change the setting mate. I turned mine on to auto so it does it Asoon as it picks up voltage
