Sister Obong, I commend you for being so gracious, very understanding & considerate in your approach to your "2 CENT" in regard to how Pastor Keion handle the beloved sister who cried out aloud during the worship service. Her hands were up, she was leaning slightly forward & she was crying out to the Lord.
It is very common in many of the black Pentecostal churches & in some black Baptist churches that people cry out during worship service. As a Pastor - Keion could have just gracefully laid his hands on her shoulder & simply prayed for her. We don't know what she was going through nor do we know what the Holy Spirit was doing in her heart.
Instead of being sensitive to her need, he decided to belittle her, snap his fingers, tell her to hush & be quiet "in the name of Jesus." What kind of spirit was he operating in? Keion had a prime opportunity to stop what he was doing to show & demonstrate grace & ministry to that beloved sister. To make matter worse - Keion goes on a international secular worldly tv show & shared church family business. What the world need to hear is the unadulterated gospel of Christ, not about church issues. We are to take church issues to the Elders of the church, not to the world.
SISTER OBONG, LET ME MAKE A BIBLICAL POINT:
In Mark 10:46-52, Bartimaeus cried out to the Lord Jesus. The people tried to hush him, but he cried out all the more a great deal. Jesus heard his cry & stopped what he was doing, called for Bartimaeus to come forth & Jesus then healed Bartimaeus of blindness. Jesus did not snap his fingers at him nor did he belittle or embarrass Bartimaeus, but he took a moment to stop what he was doing & minister healing to him. What a wonderful, loving, sensitive, understanding, caring, patient Savior we have Iin Jesus.. Jesus took time out to respond to the loud cry of Bartimaeus.....Ambassador Everett

The problem with these churches now is that there’s no real deliverance or presence of the Holy Spirit. People are too concerned with being “cute” so when somebody comes to have a real encounter with God, people will tell them to shut up b/c it’s “not appropriate”. If your church has the REAL Holy Spirit, then one person shouting shouldn’t be that much of a distraction.

We don’t know what the woman been through to judge her like that it’s very ridiculous how us as a black community we don’t know how to talk , uplift , encourage , any of that but let a woman do something like this we instantly rip each other to shreds . it’s not right i don’t agree with what the Pastor did and tbh I wouldn’t even go to his church .
