I love your look; your doing awesome! It’s hard to transition from an 1880’s house to where you are now. Houses in the 1880’s had so much character and charm. I remember when we left our old house; it has always been our families favorite home through the years.
I encourage you to find your own personal style in your home decor. That is what keeps your decor uniquely yours (even when you use it year after year). You’re in Napa you can hook up the ‘Napa Wine Style’ of clean lines without trying. I love your channel! I look forward to seeing how you transform this house into a home.

Years ago when I was decorating my first home I was so frustrated because all my friends seemed to have a cohesive "style" for their homes. I could never identify a style I loved. It finally occurred to me that my style is eclectic. It's a mix of PB, West Elm, family heirlooms, antiques and a little farmhouse all in a remodeled one story ranch. I love how my house has come together! I buy what I love and it looks amazing together. More of a collected look. It's fun watching your house come together. I love your dining table!

Lauren, your style is beautiful. I'm not crazy farmhouse either and I lived in one for over twenty years. You could make a paper bag look elegant!
🍂🍁🍂 Lauren, just a suggestion but I have four children as well, in the living room between the outline of the couch and the dinning room table, I would put two chairs instead of another couch 🛋️ for better flow of traffic, my living room area is also very similar. 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂👍🏻💜🙏🏻

Hi Lauren, I love the coffee table in the living room! But! Can I say my opinion on something? 🥰 I think the mirror do not fit above the fireplace. It's too small for this tall wall. I think a big tall impressive paint will be amazing there, or something else big and tall enough to match the big wall, Otherwise the 2 trees and the small mirror make the room short/ weird with all this wall above. I hope it makes sense haha.
