This video was sooooo inspiring. And can I just say, I just respected you in an entirely different light the longer I watched this video. The "realness" and everyday condition of your home really just shook me to the core. I LOVED that you allowed us viewers to be able to relate. We (I) often watch your videos and say to myself.... "I'm totally going to get my house in check", "how on earth do I allow things to get so cluttered in just a few days". But this video! This video gave me motivation and inspiration in so so so many ways!!
Thank You for reminding me that our families actually "live" in our homes! And every challenge to keep it all picked up and put away gives us an opportunity to decorate in some big or small way. And our families are always so "wowed" with the outcomes. That moment alone makes it all worth it. 🙂

I stay on top of it. I do laundry every day so it doesn’t get out of control and try to never leave a room unless it’s clean. My kids also know to clean up after themselves and not leave clutter laying around. It does get hard but otherwise I would be totally overwhelmed. So far my 3 kids have been doing a great job! Good luck!

Based on my personal experience, having the space to have “a place for everything” sure cuts down on the effort it takes to keep everything clean, orderly and in its place. You do an incredible job keeping your home looking gorgeous even as you outgrow it. I enjoy the family focus of your decorating.
This 100%! My motto is, if it doesn’t have a designated space, it needs to go! Such a game changer in keeping my home organized as possible

I Love that you let your kids just be kids and that they don’t live in a museum where you cannot touch or sit. I also love that you are a normal mom with four kids and that life at home cannot be perfect, it could be messy, but where there is messy there is love❤️

I just don't have the energy, the mental space and time to be cleaning that much!! To each its own here but all three of my kiddos know excatly where things go, no excuses lol. Hey there. A suggestion for all of your sheets is putting them in large ziplock bags that you vacuum seal. Then, put the bags in the rooms that the sheets fit the beds. Like under the bed or on top of the closets. I do that and it frees up so much space and looks so much better. Loved all the cleaning motivation in this video ❤️.

I'm cracking up as you throw the clothes downstairs! I have actually thought about doing that so many times. Thanks for showing your house all messy- makes me feel so much better about our house! I personally don’t have kids but a friend does & one of the things she does is writes inspirational messages on his #2 pencils for the year “(Name) you are awesome!” “(Name) your smile brightens everyone’s day!” “(Name) I am proud of you!” “(Name) speak kind words” She does this with a thin sharpie & her hint is to start with a new one! My tip is to use colored ones to brighten the child’s day depending on your school’s policies. #Encourage #Inspire

Yes, I see what you mean when you say you are outgrowing your home. In the meantime while you are either house hunting or deciding what is best for your family, an armoire (vintage) would look nice in the corner and will act as the linen closet. Sell the white beauty table or donate it to a new home, if you want it for the new home, disassemble it and put it in storage.

Yes, several times a week the house gets trashed. I try to do a nightly tidy to keep up. The realization is a real family lives here, not always magazine perfect.
My dinning room table has a bunch of fall foliage on it. Kitchen table has notebooks, calendars and cookbooks. Before this month is over I need to get organized. LOL Here in Indiana my granddaughter started school on the 10th. My youngest daughter started her second year of college this week. Fun times. Less than 5000 to go! Go Lauren! Have a great day.
First, thanks for the many inspirations I've got from you. I'm now working on my organization skills, with a new planner, some planning sheets, a Brain Dump notebook...the works. I love your decorating style, though my house is a typical suburb ranch and not a Victorian farmhouse, so my decorating style is more in line with the framework of my home. The Hubs and I are raising a grandchild, he's 10, so I've had to really dig back into the whole life with a kid thing. He started back on 8/18, last year in elementary school. We're in Circleville, Ohio.

I have a lot of luck with the Scotch Brite heavy duty scour pads on my pots and pans. They are the thinner green pads. Not my favorite choice, but they bring my baking sheets back to life with a little elbow grease. I don't feel like I have to scrub as much as some of the other cleaning pads. It also works on my white porcelain sink to get the marks that my metal pans make on it. Have a great day!

I just realized that in another video of yours I made the comment that I like to wait to clean the kitchen until there is a big mess and only do it twice a day or less. Now when it comes to the rest of my house I get COMPLETELY overwhelmed if there is clutter. I don't like letting it get to a crazy messy state because then I am too stressed to even move forward. I think it is great that you can let it go and be present with your children. That was always hard for me. I need a clean space to relax.
I can so relate to out growing a home! BUT, You can buy under the bed rolling containers that are dust proof to store each person's sheets.

It was good to let your house get messy! If your kids are going back to school soon, take advantage of the last few days to swim, picnic, etc. have fun & make memories! Obviously you were able to get it cleaned up later. My last of 5 kids started his Senior year of high school yesterday. I’m ugly crying, cause the freedom of summer is gone. He does have a job, and between that &school, we just won’t have time to do much of those things. And next summer, he’ll be working & getting ready for college. Time goes by so quickly, please enjoy the time with your children while you can!

I live in NW Pennsylvania and our school starts August 31st. They go for 3 days, then they have a 3 day weekend for Labor Day so that will be a 4 day week. It's nice they can ease into it. We have our county fair this week so we don't start school until after that so that everyone can enjoy the fair together

My daughter went back to school on Wednesday, August 10th. Summer flew by! But, so excited for the change of seasons and all the holidays coming!!

I needed to clean my whole house, my daughter had a baby last week it wasn’t your typical labor and delivery she wound up having fluid on her lungs and staying in the hospital for an extra week so I had the baby for the week he’s so precious but watching your videos always gets me going And to get all my things done that I need to do thank you for making these cleaning videos 💙
