Nat makes my heart melt, making her my wife would be my make a wish
Nat is beautiful! Prayers to everyone. I know here this past Wednesday my pa passed away and that night here in TN it got bad with storms and tornadoes.
Sorry for your loss.
Love seeing Nat in the videos look like a great time
BEIGE BLOUSE IS A DREAM!!!!
Morels in egg wash then into 50/50 shore lunch Cajun and flour with plenty of black pepper. Shallow fried in butter and olive oil 75/25 butter to oil.
Cut the mushrooms in half lengthwise. Flour and fry with butter. Simple
I always just dust my morels in flour and fry them in butter. Raw morels are deadly do make sure they are cooked. I don't add anything to take away from their flavor. What a haul.
Same here
My dad must be a superhero then. He's eaten morels raw his entire life. Lol
@gtpfirever that's amazing we just had two people in our area they were talking about on the news this season who have died. Both ate them in soup and a professional said they were undercooked and they have hydrazine in them that if isn't cooked out is poisonous.
My Favorite way and simplest way to cook Morels is by cutting them in half an put them in a dry skillet over med/high heat until the water in the mushrooms leaches out! Then strain the water and add butter, salt, and pepper! Great to eat by themselves, on a burger, or on a pizza! As far as breading them, any breading will do! From your favorite fish fry breading to cracker meal or corn meal! Beer batter works well too! That was an Awesome haul of mushrooms! Nothing wrong with Great Food, Beautiful Ladies, and a Not Too Shabby Guy! Prayers that Y’all stay safe through the tornadoes! God Bless!
I soak mine in buttermilk I mix up salt pepper and cayenne and flour egg wash them put them in the flour mixture fry them in butter enjoy
This video helped me visualize what I'm looking for in the woods. Best morel video I've watched. Honestly, the "where's Waldo" still shots helped train my eye. Now off to the woods!
Saute sliced shrooms in butter until limp , pour in beaten eggs and scramble . Enjoy . Really like ya'lls channel . Season to taste .
We like seasoned flour or Andy's yellow for breading our morels. With some Crappie it doesn't get any better!
Nat is always the spotlight of this show❤! Holy moly she absolutely beautiful 😊
Even a stormy day can beat great time👍🏻The Mushrooms looked amazing ❤️
We slice them in half, then dip them in an egg and milk mixture, then put in flour till coated season the way you want then deep fry them. Deep frying will fry them better, no mushy breading.
Awesome great day there
Two of the best looking cooks in the 402
Morrels are sooo good, and usually hard to find. Would recommend hunting for chanterelles later in the summer, those are some of the best tasting mushrooms
Ditch the egg yolks. Use the whites with 2 ice cubes and whisk. It will be crunchy and doesn’t form a steam pocket.
Dry Landfish is on my top five tastes!!
Thank you 3 for the video it's always good to grow, forage, catch and hunt your own food 👍🏻 I'm with Nat because we definitely need to have hot sauce 🔥
Love your videos and Nat makes it even better. Love that woman. God bless you all my friend.
Tough life you have man - I don't know how you do it. Keep crankin out the entertaining vids.
Those things are category DD for sure
NATALIE!!!!!
First of all prayers to anyone and everyone affected by the tornadoes. With that being said great video, the implementation of mushrooms which is something that I've been doing for years. Don't like the Hunt, but I do luv them morel mushrooms.
🤙🏼🇺🇲🤙🏼
Half them first then rinse them, it gets all the bugs and sand out easier. You can let them soak for 30 min dry um and fry um. I use Italian breadcrumbs or Cornmeal works great with them to
Seeing them faster than picking them out the ground! Hell of sight with all that on the ground!
I love mushrooms, sauteed in butter, salt pepper, yummy as the cooks
God Bless America
Looked amazing and bet it tasted same. So I can't ever find any of them in the early spring when I'm doing deer chores but if I ever I do, I'm going to fix them just like fried fish. I'll coat in egg and use a base of the Louisiana fish fry with all my extra spices. Fry up crispy and golden. I'll use my spicy, creamy jalapeno ranch sauce I make to dip them in like cheese curds. Glad to see Nat back again...she's a nut in a good way...😂
just love Nat !!!
Hey buddy I have been finding morels for the past 25 years and the best way I have found to fix them up and yes I have tried hundreds of different ways but always end up going back to cutting them in half long ways and put them in a sink full of cold cold water with a bunch of salt on top!!! Rinsing them every hour for anywhere from 4 hours to 6 hours depending on how many I have!! Then after rinsing them put on a paper towel to dry them off as much as possible!!! Then I do an egg wash with a flower seasoned up and then put into a hot pan with butter and not oil!!! Cook them until the breading turns a golden brown in color!!! I have found that butter just gives them a much better flavor than if cooked with oil for sure!!! Try them this way and let me know what you think???
Peace and love
BJ when you said where going to go pick mushrooms, I was like that will be one hell of a trippy cookout! 🍄🤪
🎣 🐟 🇺🇸
Grampa always said you have to look up to find morels. Meaning g look for the dead elmsfirst mushrooms next.
Man, I bet them morel's were delicious! I don't think I've ever had morel's, but I like other types of mushrooms, so I'm guessing that I'd probably like them, as well. I'm glad you guys were able to dodge all the 'nadors. 🌪
Looks like you had a fun guy day out there
In my younger days, I would hunt morels in the tropical rain forests and barren deserts that surround the O'Neill area. Morels are crafty devils and can detect even the slightest of movement. This can make stalking difficult. I'd always try to take them in the open, they get vicious when cornered. If wounded, they become extremely dangerous so use caution. Good luck, be safe, and may you never, ever, run out of cold beer!!
Beautiful Nat ❤
😮 wowwy Nice headlights
little flour corn meal salt pepper after a milk and egg wash fryed in crisco butter grease cant beat it
We always make Morels in a creamy sauce.
Fried in bacon Grease after egg and flour. Flour can be seasoned too
Don’t put your mushrooms in a plastic bag. That stops the spores from spreading while you carry them through the woods. Less mushrooms in the future.
Salt, pepper and flour lightly on the morels. And fry in butter...
You need to fry them in bacon grease more flavor batter in flour yummy 😋😋
SASHA!!!!
nice haul of shrooms....heavenly flavor there
The magic mushrooms are the best 🤪🤪
egg wash and flour with a little pepper and seasoning and fry them in butter
Real nice on the shrooms
Wish I was there they look so good
Morels are great eating !!!!!
I’m subscribed but i haven’t gotten a notification for quite a while
Cut them in half, fry directly in butter. No coating. Best way😊
We cook our mushrooms in butter with salt and pepper
Ritz and butter!
Next time try milk and egg wash with self rising flour and your favorite spices on the mushrooms !
You should try the Cajun on the mushroom too
ii was told always break the stems off for seed and i have picked alot of them
Ash , elm, sycamore trees seem to have morels around them
Dude. You got the life bro.
Idk how you get any work done.
Nat is all that fo sho. That’s exactly how we grow them in Oklahoma. To think I just always passed Neb on by, chasing them rigs up north. I guess I should’ve stopped and done me a little “fishin.”
Man you guys made a big haul on mushrooms 😊 It's rare to find that many I never Soak the mushrooms Just a light rinse and then put them in flour and fry them in butter 😊
Next time, either fry them whole or in half's. Stim is edible, too, and finally, use butter to pan fry them.
Flower pepper fry in butter
Never been a fan of saltines for breading. Little bit of flour, corn starch, bread crumbs and cajun seasoning always works for me.
Yummy
that p s me off! i found more on camera then i do when i go out !! lol
🤣🤣
You should be cutting the mushrooms at the stem and leave the root in the ground.
You’ve got to Frank it up!!
A little before dinner dance would have been nice. Sasha use a rolling pin so you don't hurt your hands.Peace
I got to come hang out with yall!
Flour, salt and pepper. Fry them in butter. That’s all there is to it.
In France, morrels are considered as the best mushrooms ever !! Try to add them in an omelette but please don't fry them ...
Dump the water you clean them with in the yard and new mushrooms will grow there! A couple growing buddies told me that. Not sure if it’s real or not but worth a shot.
we live just across the river!
Stuff with jalapenos and cream cheese and wrap in bacon. Fry until bacon is done.
😊
so glad you guys are ok .... we cant live with out the ol sash !!!!! they measure tornados with the F- ( Fujita ) scale ...... not categories ..... so it might have been a f-3 or f-4 tornado ... category is for hurricanes !!!!!!
I couldn't wait to hear what you thought about the taste of the morels..... you never told us😢
Try them next time whole stuffed with a sausage and grilled or baked. You won't be disappointed.
It only took a tornado to get nat back woohoo!
try using butter instead of oil for the mushrooms
Good
We washed them damp dried them rolled in flower and fry in real butter
👍👍👍
I gotta find me a wild Nat! 🇺🇸
Cut and bread then fry in skillet with butter
GBR!!!!
Something about ol' BJizzle's channel keeps me coming back! Gotta be the SUPERB content! 🙂🙃🙂
I am wondering what you guys think about the flavor for the first time
It was good!
You left us hanging BJ, how where the mushrooms?
Who house is the cooking taking place in?
Thx for making me hungry again!
We are heading to the Oregon Coast to go get our poles wet for the first time this year on Friday.
Picked out a place called Devils lake.
🎣 🐟 🇺🇸
Just put your shrooms in flour seasoned with salt and pepper no egg wash best way IMO
did you guys toss all the stipes? those taste just like the caps
I fried mushrooms in oil once....yuck
Rolled in flour and fried in butter
No seasoning needed
Invest in some EVOO.
$60 bucks per pound for those morels. Fact. Always fun at 402! They are delish fellow babies. Egg wash 1/2 c flour, 1/4 cup cornmeal. Salt Pepper dash cayenne pepper, garlic, onion powder to taste about, tsp per C flour. They will make you smack your grand ma. Always fun, keep it fun. You are doing great.
Have you all ever tried cooking some MAGIC MUSHROOMS???Ha,Ha,Ha...
Never tried them personally don’t even know if they grow in upstate NY all I know is the taste is 50/50 whether people like the taste or not guess it just depends on how it’s cooked
