Postal votes are simple to apply for through the Government website. As a person who opts out of the political fund I do not need to be told who I should vote for, Chloe. On another note, Royal Mail is a long way behind BT on the road of destruction in the name of a “level playing field” and the requirement for competition over efficient,competent service. How many will remember that they were both the Post Office, a civil service which gave its workers real status. So sad to see both as they are now. Having started in BT back in 1988 on a temporary contract, but remaining as a team member through the break up, working in Retail, Wholesale, Managed Accounts, CCC, Phonebooks, and finally Openreach. Proud to have known and worked with some amazing people, but sad remembering how much the management of people changed, destroying morale. Hoping that the forthcoming fact finding and negotiations can provide a better result for Royal Mail workers
We was told to except a pay rise of £2 aday £10 a week from the union cause they kept telling us there's no more money left but all managers will get a nice bonus from £3,000 upwards. And what do postie's get nothing. Just get to feed the others as usual
Dave ward is bad as Alan Johnson, good at talking shit, while they stab the posties in back.Dave ward has not mentioned a financial investigation in to the deal once

@@Cashisking464 to be honest mate i started about 4/5 months ago as a postman before that I was hod carrying for 12 years or so , I personally think it’s the easiest job ever delivering few letters and about 70/80 parcels

I am 45 can I still take my Royal Mail pension at 55 or has it been moved to 57 ??????
It changes to 57 in 2028 as to the age you can withdraw your pension. That applies to everyone not just Royal Mail employees.

The company is losing money due to poor quality managers within the company . Keeping staff. People are leaving in their droves. People are using other options to get their mail from other companies. We need to get a better way of working
